GGuest UserOur stay at InterContinental Sanya Haitang Bay Resort was absolutely wonderful! We were traveling with our child, who suddenly fell ill and started throwing up. The hotel staff were incredibly caring throughout. They not only helped us promptly clean up but also thoughtfully brought us some comforting congee and consistently checked in on our child's well-being. It was truly touching.
The hotel's facilities, cleanliness, ambiance, and service were all top-notch – a perfect score for the overall experience! We had a great night's sleep; the air conditioning temperature was just right, and we didn't feel any drafts blowing directly on us. A special thank you to Lucas 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 for his meticulous and thoughtful service, and for following up with us so attentively. We were extremely satisfied with our stay and highly recommend it!

LL RomanThe hotel is beyond expectations. It is located in Xiaodonghai Bay. We were vacationing with our daughter of 1.4 years old. We went for complete privacy, silence and relaxation. The hotel consists only of villas, there are about 30 of them, there are no building rooms, which ensures privacy and silence. The territory is large, incredibly well maintained and very beautiful. Beauty is in the details. The villa itself is well planned and consists of a main house and a small additional one. We had lunch here when we ordered something in the room. The personnel brought a high chair for my daughter and it stayed here during all days of our vacation. Interestingly, they don't just bring food to the room, but also serve the table. It's nice.
In general, the staff is as attentive as possible, this is reflected in the little things. The breakfast was included in the accommodation, so we either went to the hotel restaurant for lunch and dinner (only Thai and Chinese cuisine, but there is a children's menu and we ordered something for our daughter), and something Thai for ourselves. Everything is cooked very tasty and of high-quality. It was at this hotel that I first tasted the local Hainan dessert - cold coconut milk soup with fruits and cereals. I'm not a big fan of Chinese food in general, but I really liked this soup! We also ordered food directly to the villa through the Chinese app Elema (饿了么), which is in Chinese. We didn't go to street restaurants. In general, in China, the delivery of ready-made food is incredibly developed, you can order anything and anywhere. If we needed a taxi, we ordered it through the Chinese Didi (弟弟）app. But we didn't want to leave the villa and the hotel at all, we spent most of our time by the pool. Usually we need the sea, but this time it was so good to chill out at the villa that we somehow didn't need the sea). Moreover, we have a little daughter, and so far it has been more convenient to swim with her in our own pool than at sea.
We used Alipay to pay everywhere. During our stay, we visited the spa several times, took various treatments (body scrubs, various massages), we really liked everything. They do it efficiently, I recommend it. I also recommend trying small drinking coconuts in Hainan - they are divine! The very taste of a rich bounty)). Look for small brownish colors, no more than 10 cm in diameter, it has a very rich thick sweet taste of coconut. About the sea: if you are looking for active swimming in the sea, the hotel may not be suitable. It's very shallow here (that's okay) and after about 100 meters, where it's still shallow, there's an underwater breakwater. Therefore, if you swim, you will just bump into it. Because of this, there are no waves in the bay. But there are algae growing on the bottom. It may be possible to swim well during a very strong tide, but it was not possible to swim during our visit. That's why we spent the day at the villa, swimming and relaxing there. And after sunset, we went out for a walk along the shore, admired the sunset, played with our daughter in the sand and on the playground, and also strolled along the pier. For some reason, for the first time, we really didn't really want to swim in the sea). In general, if you want to spend your entire vacation in complete relaxation with the chirping of birds, the sound of the wind and the lapping of waves, then I definitely recommend Banyan tree.

GGuest UserThe Grand Hyatt Sanya Haitang Bay is definitely a top choice for a vacation in Sanya! The hotel blends modern design with tropical gardens, where coconut groves, swimming pools, and ocean views create a stunning atmosphere at every turn. The rooms are spacious and bright, starting at 68 square meters, offering plenty of room. The balcony bathtub directly faces the clear blue sea and sky, making for an incredibly comfortable stay.
The biggest surprise was the collaboration with Manmo Travel Photography! The team was professional and attentive, discussing styles in advance and patiently guiding us throughout the shoot, so there was no awkward posing. The photographer was excellent at finding the best angles, capturing all the beautiful scenery of the hotel's gardens, beach, and pools. The resulting photos were natural and fresh, absolutely brimming with atmosphere – every shot looked like a postcard.
The service was meticulous and thoughtful; the butler was responsive, and the breakfast was exquisite and delicious. Plus, the beach and food street are within walking distance. It's a one-stop shop for vacationing and professional photography, highly recommended for anyone looking to capture beautiful memories in Sanya!

GGuest UserEnvironment: As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the sunset and a refreshing ocean breeze. The hotel is absolutely stunning and massive! The coconut groves, lawns, pool, and sandy beach provide endless photo opportunities – it's just amazing! The room has a small balcony, and when you open the door, the view is expansive.
Facilities: They had a baby playpen and bathtub ready for me. Although some online reviews mentioned the facilities being a bit old, everything I needed was there. Hot water was fine, hairdryer worked well. The only minor issue was the air conditioning wasn't very cold, but it was still acceptable. The small balcony was perfect for drying clothes quickly, which was very convenient.
Hygiene: There were notices on the table about geckos, ants, and insects, but I didn't encounter any bugs during my stay. The cleaning staff were also very efficient. With all my baby's things making a bit of a mess, the auntie quickly tidied everything up for me.
Service: My requests were met very quickly! I called for band-aids, to have dishes cleared, for room cleaning, to order a kids' meal, and for a late check-out – all were handled promptly! A special shout-out to Butler Tudou (Potato) – incredibly enthusiastic, proactive, and provided excellent service! Also, the staff at the pool area were very warm and patient, and they even helped me inflate my swim ring for free.
Another highlight was the complimentary Magnolia photoshoot. The photographer was very professional. I just told him what I wanted, and he quickly found suitable locations and patiently helped me set up props. I initially thought the five complimentary photos would be enough, but after seeing the final shots, I didn't hesitate to pay for more. They made a perfect gift for my baby's first birthday 🎁.
The breakfast and buffet dinner included in the package offered a rich variety of options and tasted great. The noodles for breakfast really suited a Hunan palate, and there were various snacks. Dinner was a DIY hotpot buffet, so we didn't eat out at all these past few days, even though it seems there's a food street nearby, haha.
There were also some parent-child activities, but my baby was too young to participate.
Overall, it exceeded my expectations. For a family trip, it offers great value for money.

XXiongcandeerfeiStayed for 2 consecutive nights, and it was great value for money. The kids loved the pool every day, and it's super close to the sea, just across a road. Gina from guest services was excellent; she checked in with me daily to see if I slept well and if I needed anything – very thoughtful. The best part was waking up to a side view of the sea from our room. We caught the sunrise two mornings in a row at the perfect time, which made us so happy! 😊😊😊😊😊😊 We'll definitely be back!

GGuest UserMy stay at Sanya Yalong Bay Mangrove Tree Resort was absolutely incredible, far exceeding my expectations! First off, a huge shout-out to our dedicated butler. Their service was meticulous and thoughtful throughout our entire stay, from check-in to travel inquiries, they were patient and attentive. Any request we had was promptly addressed, making us feel incredibly comfortable.
The hotel boasts stunning sea views directly facing the ocean. The expansive vista, the clear and calming blue sea, and the picturesque seaside scenery made every photo opportunity feel like a professional shot. Strolling along the beach was incredibly relaxing. The hotel's security was also top-notch; even late at night, we'd see staff regularly patrolling, ensuring our safety and giving us complete peace of mind whether we were out or resting.
The Thai restaurant within the hotel was another delightful surprise. The dishes were authentically delicious, made with fresh ingredients, and rich in flavor – every single one was memorable. The restaurant service was equally attentive and timely, with enthusiastic staff creating a relaxed and comfortable dining atmosphere. Overall, from the environment and service to the dining, everything was impeccable. It was an excellent vacation experience, and I highly recommend it. I will definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Yalong Bay!

GGuest UserFacilities: The facilities are quite comprehensive. The beach is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel, but unfortunately, the waves were too big, so we could only admire them from afar. There's a sightseeing mini-train that circles the hotel for tours. There are three pools, one of which is a water park for children, and lifeguards are always on duty. Free swimming rings are provided, which is very convenient.
Hygiene: The rooms and facilities are kept quite clean. The rooms had no strange odors, and the soundproofing was good, so it was very quiet for sleeping at night.
Environment: The environment is pretty good, with a large lawn that's great for taking photos and strolls. It's also very comfortable to just relax and unwind at the hotel.
Service: We waited in line for 15 minutes to check in at the front desk, and the check-in process itself took 30 minutes. We booked two king rooms for three nights, and the room issues delayed us for a long time. There were suitable rooms available, but we were put through two rounds of arrangements. The efficiency was a bit low. There was also a slight unpleasantness when getting towels by the pool; I hope some staff members can improve their service awareness. However, a kind elderly woman, possibly housekeeping, on the first floor of Building 5 was particularly enthusiastic in helping us find the sightseeing shuttle. Also, a young man at the hotel's main entrance saw us, a group with elderly and children pushing a wheelchair, returning from outside and proactively offered us a ride to the lobby. That was very heartwarming.
Breakfast and the buffet dinner had a good variety of choices, and the quality was decent.
Overall, it's still a pretty good hotel.

AAnonymous UserEvery time I visit Hainan, I stay here. It feels just like home. The hygiene and environment are excellent. Xiao Jing, the lady at the front desk, is exceptionally wonderful. She always helps us get settled in so well and is always smiling. I really, really like her. The floor attendant, Auntie Li Yundan, is also fantastic. She cleans our room meticulously every day. Because my children have online classes and homework in the mornings, she always waits until the afternoon to clean, so as not to disturb them. She has such a gentle demeanor. I really, really like her!

GGuest UserMy extensive research definitely paid off! I chose the perfect first hotel for my Sanya trip. I was a bit worried based on some online reviews, but after two days, it totally exceeded my expectations. The hotel's surroundings are beautiful, and the location is excellent; you can see the ocean right from the lobby. It has a huge pool and water play area that seamlessly blend into its private beach. While the decor is a bit dated and the facilities are older, the bones of the place are solid. The breakfast buffet was also decent and, for me personally, met my needs. Not far from the hotel are Baishuigu Valley and Yatai Commercial Street, with night markets, BBQ, and restaurants, making dining very convenient. After dinner, strolling back with the sea breeze was both good for digestion and very pleasant. Oh, and the hotel also offers free airport shuttle and duty-free shop buses, which is great. It might have been the off-season, but I was lucky enough to get a free upgrade to a room with an unbeatable sea view. For this price in Yalong Bay, it's excellent value for money. The front desk staff, especially CC, provided very thoughtful service. I'd love to stay here again next time I'm in Yalong Bay.

TTangxinleizhenyuThe room overall is pretty good, and there are many more free activities to participate in. Two years ago, when I visited, I even caught the Earth Hour concert, which was very interesting. This time, the room type I stayed in was larger and had better facilities, and the price was still the same – great value for money. The downsides are that the air conditioning was really a bit warm, the maintenance of the beach and lawn wasn't great, and the restaurant food has become less appealing. Also, the hotel lobby now has a lot of stalls selling small merchandise, which feels quite cluttered. However, this might be unavoidable given its value-for-money approach, but I still hope they can make more improvements if possible.
