Seriously, everyone, you HAVE to stay at Maita! It's absolutely amazing. Their customer service is super responsive, and they even offer a shuttle service that picks you up from the village entrance and takes you right to the guesthouse. I booked a partial sea view room, but they upgraded me to a full sea view – the view was absolutely breathtaking, and the weather was perfect with clear blue skies and white clouds. When I entered the room, the AC was already on, which was a thoughtful touch. In the afternoon, they delivered a welcome fruit platter and drinks. Breakfast was healthy, delicious, and beautifully presented, and there were even adorable dogs to keep us company. Seriously, everyone, come and stay here!

sxdddddOur overall stay exceeded expectations! The lobby has a refined ambiance, and the front desk staff were very pleasant. Check-in and check-out were efficient and hassle-free. The room was meticulously cleaned, with a great wet/dry separation in the bathroom and consistently hot water, plus all the necessary toiletries. The soundproofing was excellent, so it was very quiet at night. Downstairs, there's a convenient store and various restaurants, and getting a taxi was easy. Both cleanliness and service were top-notch. Highly recommended!

Our transport got us to the wrong location the first time, but after calling the front desk, the reception lady was very kind to quickly zip over on an electric scooter and brought us to the correct location which was just about 100m away. There were locals staying in the apartment block too, some accommodations were rented out for tourists. Comfortable 2-room private apartment for 4 adults, with 2 rooms and double beds, 1 common shower, wash area and toilet. Kitchenette equipped with refrigerator, microwave, induction cooker, crockery, cutlery and some food preparation tools. Living/dining room had a TV, coffee table, 3-seater sofa, dining table and 4 chairs. Balcony had a washing machine with capsule detergent, drying rack, a couple of outdoor chairs. A nice sea view awaits with views of surrounding apartments. Morning/afternoon sun shone onto the balcony nicely, providing warmth and excellent for drying clothes. Need to request floormat at the shower area, digital lock was hard to open at times, remote for TV wasn't working but reception resolved quickly. You can link up with reception via WeChat for any queries or requests. At ground level there're just 1 or 2 grocery shops and about 3 eateries, but not very lively. About 10mins walk, you can reach a shopping mall/arcade with a very large supermarket and there you can get lots of snacks, drinks and a variety of other day to day items. Lots of eating places at the shopping mall too. Although the apartment is quite out of the way, just call DiDi as its very fast to arrive and took us to many places.

We stayed in guesthouses all the way from Haikou, and this one seemed to be the best deal. The apartment felt like it was more than 120 square meters, with two bathrooms for convenience. Cars could drive right up to the building, and it was a two-unit-per-floor layout. There were a few restaurants and supermarkets nearby, not many, but enough. Alternatively, there were plenty of places to eat near the duty-free shop. Driving was very convenient; you could drive around the back of the complex to reach the beach, or exit the highway and walk to the beach. The beach wasn't crowded, which was nice, perfect for sand digging, and it was clean. The kitchen was fully equipped, suitable for cooking simple breakfasts for the kids. The host was very nice.

We spent a total of three weeks traveling through China, and this hotel was definitely one of our favorites. The rooms were exceptionally clean, with a stunning panoramic view of both the sea and the city. We even had a bathtub, and everything felt fresh, modern, and very well maintained.
The staff truly went above and beyond and seemed to anticipate our needs before we even had to ask. They were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. As vegetarians, we mentioned our preference for breakfast, and the staff went out of their way to stock up on delicious vegetarian food from the local market every morning, making sure we were well taken care of.
We were always helped with transportation, picked up or dropped off when needed, and any questions we had—especially about buses or getting around—were answered patiently and kindly. The hotel itself is beautiful, with an amazing view, and while it’s not overly crowded with photographers and models, it’s still close enough to be right in the middle of the action, yet slightly tucked away.
We felt very comfortable and at home here. If you walk a bit along the beach, you can easily find quieter spots to relax. The only minor downside was the nightly fireworks, which could be a bit loud until around 11:30 pm. That said, watching the fireworks from our panoramic windows was truly beautiful, and everything quieted down by midnight at the latest.
Overall, a wonderful hotel that we can highly recommend.

LukasFlyA great room apartment, in a relatively good location, not overcrowded and served by some basic services.
The facilities are a little limited, they advertise sea equipment available, but in reality we asked at the reception and nobody knew what we were talking about.
Also, the pictures show a very nice pool facility just below the building, however it belongs to the Crowne Plaza, and access can be granted only if an additional ~40RMB are paid.
Last, the room has mattresses which are very very very think, and it feels like sleeping on wood, and the kitchen is not usable and equipped with even a plate, fork or knife.
On the other side, personnel is very kind (even if they speak no English at all) and they tried to help any time they could.
Recommended for relatively low-budget traveling, otherwise look for something better, especially beds comfort!

Guest UserThe room was spotlessly clean and bright, with a panoramic view from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The projector in the room made for a very comfortable evening watching shows. The hot water supply was stable, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation. The staff were warm and attentive, even recommending authentic local eateries in the town. It was a very relaxing stay for a vacation.

Guest UserApartment complex is new, but it’s some hard to look for entrance. Nearby apartments is reconstruction area, but it didn’t make any noise.
Territory is green and clean.
Staff is friendly and took care about us. We took upgrade without any money.
You can find a lot of cafes and shops near. Beach is about 10 minutes walking

Guest UserI stumbled upon this hotel on Trip.com and honestly didn't have high expectations since my trip was so short. But wow, I was genuinely surprised after checking in! First off, the staff were all incredibly welcoming. They even gave us complimentary welcome fruit during check-in, and I was shocked that for this price point, they also provided disposable bath and face towels – talk about attention to detail! They even allowed a late checkout at 2 PM. The room itself was very comfortable and spacious; large and clean are the key takeaways. The hairdryer was new, and the bedding and toiletries were super soft and comfy, ensuring a great night's sleep. Its central location is also a huge plus, as it's only a 5-minute walk to the beach. There are tons of shops and restaurants nearby to explore. Xiaodonghai is just a 10-minute drive away, perfect for some tide-pooling if you have time. The owner also recommended many restaurants that were absolutely fantastic, no duds there. This hotel really spoils its guests with so many freebies and benefits, offering incredible value for money. I gave them five stars across the board for service, hygiene, facilities, and environment. You can't go wrong with this hotel. We'll definitely be back next time; it's spacious, reliable, and comfortable. If you're looking for an excellent and highly-rated hotel, this is the one to choose.

Stayed 1 night after reviews and photos , pool was clean again appreciate there not being an excess amount of chlorine used , we chose a pool side villa , this was nice to have access directly from the room ,
We know the area having spent about a week there so was convenient for our needs ,
Nice design of hotel at night when the lights are on, room was comfortable , bath tub not really suitable for an adult , but our daughter had a go ,
I just do not get why they would provide a 1 time throwaway material out of a plastic bag as a towel , when you have a villa next to the pool
Was generally a quick stop before heading back towards the airport , so all in all for price ratio happy enough ,
