What truly sets Banyan Tree Sanya apart is its unparalleled privacy. Each standalone villa is enveloped by lush greenery, creating a natural barrier, and features its own private pool and courtyard plunge pool, offering an exclusive and tranquil space. We had a dedicated 24-hour butler, Zheng Delin, who was incredibly responsive to all our needs. For our anniversary, he even arranged a complimentary room setup, which was a lovely touch and added to the special occasion. The resort boasts a secluded private bay, with hardly any outside visitors. The sunsets over the ocean in the evening were romantic and therapeutic, and the happy hour at the beach bar created a fantastic atmosphere. Every room is equipped with Banyan Tree's signature aromatherapy toiletries, and upon check-in, we received a special welcome gift and fresh fruit. The floating afternoon tea experience was exceptional. The resort's buggies are available for pick-up and drop-off at any time, ensuring a smooth and uncrowded experience. It's truly a luxurious choice for couples on their honeymoon or anyone looking for a relaxing escape, far from the hustle and bustle of crowds.

Guest UserI have to give a huge shout-out to my stay at Sheraton Sanya Yalong Bay this time! The Sheraton Yalong Bay consistently puts guests first, promptly addressing feedback, and providing thoughtful and attentive service, which truly deserves praise. Their service is professional and on-point, efficiently handling guest requests and actively gathering feedback to meticulously enhance the stay experience. I encountered a minor issue during my stay, and the staff proactively contacted me immediately, even adding me on WeChat to follow up on my subsequent experience. The hotel grounds are surrounded by coconut groves, offering beauty beyond just the mountain and sea views, with warm and unobtrusive service that truly nurtures the soul. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, gentle and meticulous hospitality was present throughout. The staff were enthusiastic, considerate, and polite, offering perfectly timed attentive company—neither overbearing nor distant—and meticulously responding to every need. The multiple swimming pools are fantastic for photos. The room was clean and tidy, and the Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed was incredibly comfortable. What truly impressed me most was the service: genuine, actively listening to guest suggestions, and diligently relaying them to relevant departments for improvement. It's suitable for both couples on vacation and families traveling with children. I will definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Sanya.
1. Surrounded by coconut groves and the blue sea, Sheraton Sanya Yalong Bay captures the gentleness of the island with its meticulous service.
2. More than just a beachfront view, the thoughtful and attentive service at Sheraton Yalong Bay was the biggest surprise of this trip.
3. I'll be back next year!

This is our fourth consecutive summer vacation in a beachfront villa in Yalong Bay, but it's our first time staying at the Ritz-Carlton's beachfront villa. From the moment we made the reservation, our entire experience with the Ritz has been nothing short of perfect. Throughout our week-plus stay, the hotel's service was truly exceptional, anticipating our every need and even surprising us with many thoughtful little details – like the beautiful shells left for our child after daily room cleaning, or the charming towel animals folded on our child's extra bed during turndown service. As for the room itself, aside from the slightly small courtyard, the facilities, functions, and layout both inside and outside the room were incredibly well-designed, ensuring a comfortable stay even for an extended period. This is particularly impressive for a Ritz-Carlton, considering that some of its infrastructure might be a little dated. I must extend a special thank you to Hans from the marketing department and Felix Xiao Shen, our villa butler. From helping us adjust our schedule to miraculously avoid Typhoon Maysak, to their warm hospitality throughout our week-long stay, they ensured our family had a vacation that was both comfortable and heartwarming. We look forward to returning to the Ritz next summer to escape the heat.

The room was very clean, and housekeeping was excellent. The downstairs pool was spotless. Getting around was easy, and the electric carts were very convenient. AilvyoudexiaoshanerThis is countless times I've stayed at this hotel. It's incredibly affordable, the rooms are spacious, and the sea view is fantastic. It has all the amenities of a five-star hotel for just over 200 yuan, including a swimming pool, buffet, and sea-view room – what's not to love? Every time I visit Sanya, I make sure to stay here for a night. The fishing village next door is also a must-visit. The only downside is that there aren't many activities for kids, so for the rest of our trip, we usually move to a five-star hotel in Yalong Bay where there's more for them to do. But overall, the value for money at this hotel is unbeatable; it's hands down the best in Sanya!

《-;,:;(This guesthouse is really worth staying at. The in-room facilities are new, and with two beds, my child slept very comfortably. Our building was very close to the pool, and the kids' pool was great, though a bit too sunny. The hotel is right next to the beach with beautiful scenery. Breakfast was plentiful, and there was even a mermaid show in the afternoon, making it perfect for families with kids.

Guest UserTwo days that far exceeded my expectations! Our butler, Coral, was so thoughtful. It must have been the off-season because we got an upgrade. She was always quick to respond to any questions, which was super convenient. The room was huge, with two beds facing the balcony, so you could lie in bed and watch the ocean and sunrise. One wall of the bathroom was glass, facing the sea, making it clean and bright. The restaurant was just downstairs, and the roasted chicken at the Thai restaurant was delicious. The room was also very close to the beach, perfect for water activities. In the evenings, you could watch movies on the lawn. There's also a seafood BBQ buffet right by the beach, and they start playing music every evening, creating a lively atmosphere. Highly recommended!

The hotel building is supposedly the newest wing of the old BAO Hotel across the street where those staying in the Shanghai Huating Boutique must go for breakfast. We waited 25 minutes to check as there was one desk agent serving one customer although after 2pm. The other staff agent appeared after 3pm. We were required to pay a refundable 500 RMB deposit and after checking into our room, God only knows what anyone would take from the room that was worth 500 RMB. Old not ironed bed linen, rusted garbage can, rusted balcony sink, old clean bathroom towel, old kitchen appliances which only the refrigerator was plugged in to work. The room condition (walls, floors, tiles, fixtures, etc) of the 8 years old hotel that opened in 2018 is far worse than it should be unless they used old materials to build. The option to PAY MORE for an “ocean view” is not worth it. After complaining that my room had a “pool view” AND I didn’t get the “ocean view” room I had PREPAID for, I was told I could change to another room that had an ocean view the NEXT DAY (because all of the 2 twin bedrooms with “ocean view” were already occupied for the day. But after I was shown the only room that had a view of the unsightly harbor/ocean which came with an old hard king size mattress and in worse condition than my 2 twin beds room, I decided not to move to another room BECAUSE after viewing the other available rooms where guests had checked out, there were none any better to justify packing up and moving to another old room. I contacted Trip.com, but because the cancellation period for THIS hotel expired the day before arrival, thus not allowing a chance to view the room before accepting the room at checkin. This is a red flag 🚩 as a hotel with pride & confidence in its products & service would allow the cancellation to extend to AT LEAST to 2-4pm on the planned checkin date especially at a famous beach resort (DaDongHai) during the 15 days long Chinese New Year’s holiday. So, no chance to change hotels UNLESS I was willing to forfeit $487.47. Also, I should mention the ants that appeared on the kitchenette counter EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS NO FOOD on the counter, only my coffee cup that I washed and left on the counter to dry. THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT MY STAY AT THIS “DESPERATELY NEED OF A PROPER RENOVATION” HOTEL IS THE ONE MORNING FEMALE DESK AGENT THAT ASSISTED ME A COUPLE OF TIMES IN THE MORNING AND A HOUSEKEEPING LADY SO, I GAVE BOTH A GOOD LUCK RED ENVELOPE 🧧 AS IT WAS THE CHINESE NEW YEAR HOLIDAY. If I go back to Da Dong Hai, I will DEFINITELY LOOK for a better hotel for my usually desired 5-10 days Sun & Beach vacation.

DongfangyuxiFirst, the pros: The hotel is very close to the sea; you can walk out from the ground floor and be on the beach in a few dozen meters. Since it's at the very end, the beach is quite clean. The rooms are also clean, and the housekeeping staff are all very friendly. There's a pharmacy and a small convenience store right in the hotel lobby, which is quite convenient for buying medicine and other necessities.
The concierge service was also excellent, actively helping with luggage upon arrival and departure. There's even a ** (food delivery) locker at the lobby entrance, which makes ordering takeout very convenient.
Now, the cons: The front desk service was terrible. The room they initially assigned us could only be used for showering while standing in the bathtub. Since one of my companions had difficulty with their leg, I asked for a different room. The front desk staff immediately told me the hotel was fully booked and there were no other rooms available. I had no choice but to contact Ctrip, and they quickly arranged a room change for us. When checking out, I requested a late check-out because my child needed an afternoon nap. Again, the front desk told me the hotel was fully booked and we could only stay until 12:30 PM. However, before calling, I had already checked the booking page, and our room type was still available for sale that day, so it wasn't fully booked. Oh well, we checked out on time.
Breakfast: The variety was extremely limited, and most of the options seemed more suitable for Russians. I stayed for three days, and as a woman with a small appetite, I never felt full. In the evening, there's also a self-service BBQ on the ground floor for 98 yuan per person.
I wouldn't recommend making a special trip to Bohou Village Night Market; it's just a short road, a few dozen meters long, entirely filled with BBQ stalls. If you plan to book this hotel, I suggest getting a full sea-view room directly. The full sea-view rooms seem to have been renovated, and the facilities look newer. Also, a word of advice: do not book through **. I saw others who booked through **, and when issues arose, the hotel and ** just passed the buck, leaving the customer to suffer. This trip was long with many uncertainties, and I deeply experienced Ctrip's problem-solving capabilities. They truly are the king of the tourism industry; kudos to Ctrip! 👍
