Facilities: Excellent! Although it's been around for some years, it's incredibly well-maintained, living up to the standards of a luxury hotel group! We stayed in a villa with a massive private pool, and the water quality was spotless! With a total area of nearly 300 square meters, it was truly comfortable – thumbs up! Ambiance: Their own private beach makes watching the sunset a breeze! The Southeast Asian-style garden design means you don't need to fly all the way to places like Bali or Phuket to enjoy the sun, sand, fine wine, and delicious food. Service: We had a professional personal butler who was incredibly responsive to every request. It felt truly comfortable – kudos to the service team! Overall, this spontaneous trip brought so many unexpected delights, and the accommodation was definitely a highlight. We're planning to come back to Sanya next year for another vacation!

This was our second time staying at Bird's Nest with the kids. This time we booked a larger room, and the front desk kindly upgraded us for free. We even had a dedicated service butler who was incredibly helpful. Their response time for dining arrangements and car bookings was very quick. The room facilities and decor have a charmingly rustic and natural feel. As for the views, they are absolutely stunning, with rolling mountains and blue skies and white clouds that feel within reach. You can hear the rustling of the pines and the wind blowing through the leaves, and there's a panoramic view of Yalong Bay, where the sea and sky blend seamlessly. It's perfect for those looking for a quiet getaway and a close connection with nature.

The Sheraton Sanya Yalong Bay is perfect for families with kids! It boasts a prime beachfront location, just a short stroll through the gardens to a beach with fine sand, where my child had an absolute blast playing and splashing in the waves. They have a kids' splash pool, a mini-train, and a well-equipped children's play area with a variety of activities, plus daily parent-child events. The room came with kid-friendly amenities, and the service was very thoughtful. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast spread was comprehensive. It's a one-stop-shop for eating, staying, and playing, making it effortless to travel with kids. Definitely our top choice for Sanya with little ones, we'll be back again!

The MGM Grand Sanya hotel was the last of our six hotels from our trip to China. We booked the Corona Sunset Sea-view Suite - Extra-large Ocean View Terrace via trip.com. This spacious two-room suite is 130 sq m with a large 100 sq m terrace. At reception we were immediately connected on WeChat to Sheldon, a butler who speaks excellent English and some Russian. The suite, with large floor-to-ceiling windows, is fully equipped: a capsule coffee machine, a hairdryer, an ironing board, an iron, fully automatic toilets (two in our room), slippers, robes for adults and children, and toiletries, including baby toiletries. We were especially pleased with the large live indoor flowers in the room. There is a minibar. Along the entire transparent terrace railing, on the left and right, there are fresh flowers with cute blue blossoms, which creates an additional cozy atmosphere: The terrace has sun loungers, a large table with chairs, and a small table with armchairs. There's also a clothes dryer, which is very convenient. The terrace offers a beautiful view of the sea and the hotel grounds. We recommend booking this room or villa, as breakfast in these room types is served in a restaurant next to the beach overlooking the sea. This restaurant offers both a buffet and an à la carte menu. Everything was delicious, and the service was excellent. There weren't many guests at breakfast in this restaurant. We also had breakfast in the main restaurant, but we really enjoyed the breakfast and service in this restaurant near the beach. The sea was excellent; there were some waves, but we swam. There were always sun loungers available by the sea. The hotel is large, with many children. Generally, the hotel is geared toward families with children, as there are plenty of activities for children. Some might find it noisy, but our room with a terrace was peaceful and quiet. Our booking package included a photo shoot, and we loved the photos – they were truly professional and beautiful. We want to say a big thank you to our butler, Sheldon, who was always available, answered all our questions, and made our stay even more comfortable. Upon check-in we encountered several cleaning issues, which Sheldon promptly resolved, for which we are very grateful. We have only positive impressions from my stay at this hotel!

This time, I booked two pool-access rooms for two nights at the Ritz-Carlton Sanya for my family, and we had a very relaxing vacation. The overall experience exceeded our expectations. The rooms at the Li Tao Pavilion offer direct access to the pool, so you don't have to go back and forth through public areas, giving you complete freedom with your time. Unfortunately, all the pool-access rooms with sea views were fully booked during our stay, but the pool-access rooms in Building Two were also great, offering a quiet and private environment. The guest rooms were spacious and airy, and not damp as I had imagined for a ground-floor room. They were dry and comfortable overall, making for a very pleasant stay. The hotel grounds are beautiful, with lush tropical vegetation and attractive scenery everywhere. When we had free time, we'd stroll through the gardens and slowly make our way to the beach. On clear days, the waters of Yalong Bay are crystal clear, and we were lucky enough to see the beautiful blue sea and sky this time. The service during our stay was excellent. Nicole was friendly and responsive to our requests, handling everything promptly and appropriately. We didn't have a packed itinerary; most of our time was spent enjoying the hotel, playing in the pool, and walking along the beach, truly savoring a slow-paced island holiday. As a long-standing resort, both the facilities and service are top-notch. Li Tao is perfect for those who prefer a quiet getaway and enjoy water activities. Immersing ourselves in the leisure of island life, this stay was incredibly comfortable. When I come back to Yalong Bay in the future, the Ritz-Carlton will still be my top choice.

My friends and I stayed for five days, and it exceeded our expectations overall! The cleaning was incredibly thorough, every corner was spotless. The villa's environment was serene, with a stunning mountain view, and the private hot tub was perfect for photos. The three bedrooms and one living room offered ample space, and it was fully equipped with appliances and kitchenware, making it convenient for both travel and daily living. The butler was very responsive, and the service was warm and attentive. It's excellent value for money, highly recommended for groups traveling together!

Pleasantly surprised! I'd seen some reviews online mentioning the hotel being a bit dated, but after checking in, I found that wasn't the case at all. The service was excellent, the hotel is huge, and since I checked in during a quieter period, many facilities were practically all ours if we woke up early. The villa room was very spacious. Due to its age, there were some signs of normal wear and tear, but it was far from run-down; you could still see the quality. My favorite part was the private pool – after a day out, it was lovely to relax and swim with my family. It's a bit further from the beach than hotels right on the coast, but the shuttle bus takes you to the intersection. Shuttles run every twenty minutes from there, and you just need to cross the road and follow the path to the beach, so it was still quite convenient.

Yalong Bay Mangrove Tree Resort is a well-established five-star hotel with a strong Balinese tropical vibe, offering an immersive island vacation experience. The hotel boasts an excellent location, very close to the beach, with direct access by foot. The open-air, sea-and-sky-integrated lobby bar offers expansive views. Sitting there, enjoying the sea breeze and gazing at the clear blue ocean and sky, truly enhances the ambiance. Although it's been open for a while, the overall facilities are well-maintained. The lush gardens are beautiful, with a new picturesque scene at every turn, making strolls around the resort leisurely and therapeutic. The guest rooms are clean and tidy, providing a high level of comfort. The staff are attentive and polite, making the entire stay very pleasant. If you're looking for a slow-paced, relaxing holiday in Yalong Bay, this place is highly recommended. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Sanya!

This is our go-to hotel whenever we visit Sanya. The Baohong Shanghaiting Hotel offers excellent value for money and has consistently warm and attentive service. This time, I noticed there were very few Chinese guests, but a lot of Russians – I actually felt like I was dining abroad! The hotel is just as good as always; the service remains top-notch and the rooms are well-maintained.

This hotel boasts an excellent location right on the beach, with no road separating it from the sand. You can even see the ocean from the hotel pool, making it a great value option among the beachfront hotels in the area. The only minor drawback is that the hotel's decor is a bit dated, but it has all the necessary facilities. It's a shame not all areas of the pool were open, which lessened the fun. On the positive side, the hotel's breakfast was impressive, with more variety and better taste than what I've experienced at some Hilton hotels.
