I kept extending my stay at Selina because of the people, the service, and the location. Quality and genuine interactions, the quality of the facilities far exceed the price for this hostel. This place is more for people who are looking to make new acquaintances and enjoy a wonderful area of Sao Paulo (Pinhieros) while on a budget. The facilities are modernized, and the breakfast is delicious. Thank you for your hospitality.

This hotel has a lot of potential, the decor is nice and the staff are super friendly. Unfortunately we had a few issues when we were here, the air con was faulty and there was also only one bathroom for our whole floor so was often busy

The lockers at all Selina are the same easy to open without even opening ones pod lock they need better locking device ! ill be staying at a few in a few months will bring my own locking device ;) Also got my supplies stolen at the other Selina in Sao Paulo and was told a manager was not available it seems not to be a big deal to staff ;(

The worst Selina I've visited. Dirty kitchen, noisy rooms no good vibe. My bag of food was stolen in the common kitchen when I went out for 5 minutes. The Selina manager Antonio was very unhelpful and didn't think it was a big deal of theft in the property. The people in reception don't speak English, they don't smile at you and they are rude most of the time. If you check out one minute after 1 1:00 they try to charge you for 1/2 of another night. I don't recommend this Selina.

TIVE QUE PAGAR MAIS PARA PODER TER O QUE FUI INDUZIDO AO FAZER A RESERVA. Fiz a reserva para um dia no *********. As informações e as fotos não são claras que o banheiro é compartilhado (o que para mim, jamais funionária) Eu sou um cliente contumaz do ********* (Gold) e após o check in a atendente me informa o andar e como funiona o banheiro compartilhado. Disse que poderia ter um engano e que na minha reserva não indicava compartilhado. Recusei e ela de pronto disse: Estamos tendo problemas com eles, mas verei o que posso fazer. Pode fazer nada, a não ser me cobrar mais 80 reais , fora a diaria ja paga para eu poder ter aquilo que fui induzido a reservar. Café da manhã (eu estava a trabalho) Demorado, uma pessoa para atender, cozinha demorada, me levantei e a atendente sem poder fazer muito, pq não depende dela e sim da estrutura de atendimento do lugar, gentilmente fez um suco e uns paes de queijo para eu comer indo ao meu compromisso. já havia se passado 20 minutos. Experiencia ruim pelo serviço e não pelo quarto e local. Não volto mais.

I didn't have a good experience, the bed sheet and pillow smelled like sweat, I believe they didn't change it after the previous guest, as it didn't smell good and I was itching all night and when I woke up, unfortunately I was so tired that I didn't have any strength to go and complain and try to change rooms. There is no phone in the room and no one responds to WhatsApp. I took the micro room option, the bathroom is in the external area in the corridor, shared with 3 other micros, but it should only be accessible with the release card, as it is open and anyone can use it, the bathroom is almost always dirty and without paper, I told reception 3 times that the hand paper holder was stuck and no paper was coming out and no one resolved it either time. There's a shared kitchen, cinema, library and a restaurant downstairs, the breakfast is good, everything is delicious and fresh, it's worth getting the Selina coffee. Highlight for Laura's service at the reception, she was super attentive and polite at all times, I really liked her!

Dirty bathroom (with hair stuck to the shower wall), terrible service, air conditioning that stops working and worst of all: an unbearable noise, making it impossible to sleep. Very bad experience. On our second day of stay two more friends arrived so we asked if we should change rooms because it was a different reservation and they told us no. After leaving the hostel they told us that we had to return to change the room. We lost about 2 hours to come back and make the change because it took them a long time to assign us our beds. We moved our things to the new room but even though the check-in time had already passed, the beds were still not cleaned and were very dirty. We left our suitcases and left, when we returned at night one person in our group did not have a bed because the beds had been over-assigned and they assigned him another room. Another of the beds was dirty, they didn't clean it and we had to wait until they found someone to clean it. On our last day we arrived to have our breakfast that was included and we waited more than 1 hour and they did not serve us, we asked and they told us that they forgot our order. We waited another half hour and they didn't bring it so we ordered it to go because we couldn't wait any longer. It was almost two hours. Dirty pillows, leaky bedding, poorly maintained accommodation... terrible experience! There is no point in everything being biodegradable/vegan/cruelty free etc. if the place does not provide guests with THE MINIMUM, which is HYGIENE. Our blanket had a disgusting stain, sheets with holes, horrible. The finish on the bathroom sink was moldy and poorly done. It is clear that the structure of the entire place requires maintenance. 4 days of accommodation and not once was room service provided, even upon request. The sound insulation is terrible or non-existent, making it impossible to sleep. Even inside the individual accommodation, the walls are dirty and broken in several places, the switches don't work properly and the lights at the head of the bed don't turn on. 1st and last time in this place.

Excellent service and cozy place. The rooms are very nice and the location is perfect. The only detail is that the shared bathroom at the time I went (Feb 2022) could have been a little cleaner, but otherwise nothing to talk about. I will definitely be back
