The Pullman is a wonderful hotel in the heart of the incredible Brazilian city of São Paulo. From the moment of our arrival when the concierge speedily took care of the car, through check in , bar and restaurant service and upgraded room with hydro jet bath ( much loved by my beautiful girlfriend) the special staff of the hotel made us feel like valued house guests rather than hotel customers. We did not want to leave ! The hotel is in a superb location within minutes walking of a magnificent city park at Ibirapeura and very convenient to access all the central sights of Sampa Hotel breakfast is efficient, fresh, plentiful choice - totally divine. Special thanks to Rodrigo and his team - one of my very favourite hotels in the world. I cannot wait to return

Bella Struttura nel sud di San Paolo dove tutto è a portata di mano. Camere molto grandi e davvero molto pulite. Colazione ampia con scelta di ogni genere. We stayed in Emiliano in pre-pandemic times and considered it a perfect hotel for a city stay. Just for the sake of it, if I want to think what else to wish them to do for the rooms and from the point of view of service and I can’t figure it out. And it isn’t easy to get me to say something like this. So, this time when we had to spend less than 24 hours in Sao Paulo and even landing in GRU after midnight we decided to spend about 1 hour to get to Emiliano and 1 hour back next day rather than staying in any of the hotels close to the airport. Their rooms and service are worth it and we were sure we will have a good rest before hitting the road again. We were wrong about the rest. After usual check-in procedures were finished, the receptionist suddenly told us: “yes, and one more thing: tomorrow from 11:00 a.m. there will be noise, we are renovating the spa”. It didn’t promise anything good, but, OK, there are different types of noise and there was nothing we could do standing in front of Emiliano reception at nearly 02:00 a.m. anyhow. Exactly at 11:00 a.m. next morning mayhem started. Not just some noise. It was breaking the walls with the whole building shaking. Not possible not only to sleep, work (and I do need to do some work on a computer every morning), impossible to stay in a room. Forget about further resting (and we had a couple more hours). Of course, every hotel needs regular renovations to keep up its level. But if you are planning works of this magnitude – choose a low season time, close down for couple of weeks, give you employees their vacations and break your walls as much as you wish. Or at least have enough decency to put information about works pending or going on your site. This is what hotels respecting their guests and themselves normally do. And then everyone can make their own decision. The schedule of works going on in Emiliano are from 11:00 to 17:00. If someone knows that he/she will not be in the hotel during these hours – of course, they will book regardless, since the works will have no affect on them. While if someone else, like us, is planning to be spending some daytime in the hotel and they need to be in Sao Paulo exactly at a time coinciding with the works – they can just book another hotel for this stay. No hard feelings. We paid USD 400+ for a Deluxe room, not even for a Suite (Emiliano is far from being cheap, but before it was worth it), we were looking forward and were planning to unwind in between not the easiest of flights and what did we get? Just for the sake of justice on the day we stayed there I visited Emiliano’s site to make sure there is no announcement of these works that I missed. There was not. Only lengthy promises to take care of all details of anyone’s stay. Right.

Pro: - Location. - Small kitchen in the rooms. - Cleanliness. Cons: - The wifi was basically unusable, very very slow, so I would not recommend this hotel if you need to work eventually on a trip. - The maintenance staff also shared the same elevator as the guests, it was not pleasant to share the elevator with someone covered in paint multiple times there be should one staff elevator reserved. - The finishings in the apartments need better quality for a 4 star hotel. - The room floor is very old and scratched. - The plaster all over the apartment is also of low quality. The air conditioner was too noisy. - The shower needs info which handle is for hot and cold. - The comforter of my bed had holes and it looked very old. - The breakfast area was chaotic, there was no though of the flow of people therefore it was a mess to get something, adding to that hotel staff coming for quality control samples in the middle of guests, also the variety of foods were uninteresting. - The furniture was too old for a 4 star hotel. - Outdated elevator. - I don't want to be negative but overall it needs to have a more polished look.

I have been staying at The Capital for the past 11 years and every stay is surprisingly better than the last one. Not only the Hotel keeps improving the structure, remodeling, and updating the rooms. But most of the staff remains the same for all this time and that says a lot ! It's very pleasant to arrive to the hotel and find my friends that knows my name, always ask how's my wife and kids are doing, and go above and beyond to make my stay extremely easy smooth. I would like to personally thank Vanessa, Carolina, George, Hian, Lima, Danielle and Samuel for all the care and attention you all have with me !! See you all in December !!

Inicialmente eu ficaria 5 dias no hotel, porém acabei ficando 20 dias. Todos os funcionários me trataram de maneira excepcional e eu pude ver que todos ali estavam fazendo seu melhor. Do pessoal da recepção, ao restaurante e da limpeza, todos foram incríveis!!!! Sem contar que a localização é perfeita!!! **** I was supposed to stay at Staybridge for 5 nights but ended up staying for 20 nights. Every single staff member was incredible in the way the treated me and cared for me during my stay, I couldn't be happier with my choice. Thank you so much to all the exceptional people in this place. Not to mention that the location is superb!!!

O quarto era muito espaçoso, limpo e com boas comodidades. Inclusive, tem uma mini cozinha no quarto, um diferencial comparado com outros hóteis. A localização é muito boa (próximo de muitos bares/restaurantes e do Parque Ibirapuera). Apenas como dica, a entrada é um pouco confusa quando bota nos aplicativos, o ideal é botar direto o endereço da Rua Tuim. A equipe foi muito solícita na hora de transportar as malas. Um ponto negativo é o espaço do café da manhã, que é muito pequeno, e o café também não é muito variado.
