The Boathouse

A VERY satisfied customer! I genuinely can’t fault the level of customer service. I was a demanding guest too eg I spilt a large glass of orange juice over the upholstered chair and the carpet. And that was just one example! The breakfasts were superb.The entrance was private so I didn’t have to go through the pub/ restaurant part to get to my room. It was literally a stone’s throw away from the beach and on the coastal path. Every single staff member was friendly and helpful. I ate in the restaurant a few times and the food was lovely. My room was smallish but fine for just me and the bed so comfy. The bathroom was large and had a jacuzzi bath ! Just to add the cherry on top, the weather was perfect for my 5 day break. I hope to return one day.

Ideal for the vegan traveller Was over there for the Ryde 10 race. 15 min walk along the beach to town, lovely sea views and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Esp. as 2 of our party were vegans. Vegan breakfast was on the menu and the chef specially prepared an evening mean, so excellent service.

Great place for a calm seaside stay Lovely property, fairly recently refurbished, right across the road from the beach. it’s located just between Ryde and Seaview, both of which are accessible via the coastal path. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated giving it a calm ambience. The bathroom has a shower and a bath. Breakfast was exceptional with great choices and really well cooked food.

Kind & helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. Alex went above and beyond, and room was lovely decor and very clean and my breakfast was excellent, sadly i couldnt finish it as i felt unwell, but absolutly great breakfast, The whole team are amazing here, im sure i will be back.

One hour wait for a salad, poor food and worse service. Had to ask 3 staff regarding a so called Caesar Salad, which despite the wait was full of fatty and gristly bacon, a tiny amount of chicken . £18 - London prices - for a very small and inadequate salad. Was eventually offered a refund for one meal, having paid for 2 salads. Staff had no idea how to deal with the situation.

Really good food. Fish menu depends on what they have caught so fresh AF. Really nice location with a great view. The staff were also great very helpful and accommodating. We all had fish but in particular the tuna steak was cooked like a fillet steak.. melted in the mouth with the black garlic butter, was insane!
