The place would not be bad, but getting in is not easy! Although it was reported that it was possible to check in from 4pm to midnight, when we got to the door we discovered that we needed a code and that there was no reception. We studied the reservation carefully and discovered that it was written that we would receive a confirmation email from the hotel. There was no trace of this email. However, we noticed that the reservation included a confirmation number. We tried and it worked as a code to get in. We inspected the landing to look for clues about the room number. Nothing. Exasperated and tired, we called the number that was on the reservation. And after half an hour we managed to find the room number and the code to access it.

Attention! If you are considering booking this type of apartment or guest house for your trip, be sure! Do not use Ctrip, it is very deceptive. This type of hotel is self-service check-in, and requires a four-digit code, but Ctrip does not provide it at all, and there is no explanation in the email. We were asked to call outside the hotel to check in.
I booked an apartment, the room is large, the facilities are complete, and it has a balcony. The only drawback is that the hot water smells a bit strange when taking a shower. Many hotels in Iceland have similar smells, and I don’t know the cause.
