Location: First of all, it was located in front of the bar of Chungmuro Station, so the accessibility was very good! As soon as I got off the station, it was easy to find because it was right there, and it was easy to move to the subway. In addition, there are many food nearby, so I ordered it to be delivered in the evening. At night, I went out with my friends and played in my favorite bar. š» Room interior, cleanliness: First of all, the room stayed in a room for three people, but it was wider than I thought, so three people went to sleep. It was enough, very neat and clean. There was also a table, so it was easy to eat, and it was okay to bring a laptop and see the work! The bathroom is clean and Netflix is available (you need to use your own ID). There is a washing machine, induction, and sink, so you can cook and wash! (I haven't used it, but,) it was just new and tidy because the bathroom was just built. Is it a little unusual that the sink is on the outside? It wasn't uncomfortable, but it wasn't as noisy as Hongdae or Sinchon. It was nice to be quiet at night, not like a noisy downtown area, but because of its good accessibility and location, it was convenient to use public transportation and places to eat or cafes around. It was nice to have a lot! I stayed with my friends, but I think it would be suitable if you are looking for a place to stay for long-distance business trips or business purposes.. !

Location is good, near to metro. Room and bed is very comfortable. Cleanliness is great.
However, some front desk staff are friendly some arenāt. One male staff who wearing spectacles (who can speaks mandarin) isnāt helpful at all. I had a hard time conversing with him in English. He spoke very little English and we were speaking on different wave length throughout the whole conversation. When I thought of switching languages and ask if he could speaks mandarin, he said no. Half and hour later, I saw him speaking mandarin to a Chinese guest fluently. What a joke?!
For luggages, only before check in they will keep for you. After check out, you need to look for lockers and pay for storage.

I had a 24 hour layover in Seoul and chose this hotel based on the proximity to Seoul Station. From Incheon, the train journey is about one hour to Seoul Station. Fortunately, the hotel is less than a five minute walk from Exit 12. There is a slight hill, but itās moderate and not overwhelming. The staff were super pleasant and offered to take my luggage up. I declined since I only had a carry-on, but note there is no elevator in this hotel. Donāt expect opulent space. The rooms are compact, but comfortable. As is typical in Seoul, the bathroom includes the sink, shower and toilet - thereās no separation of the shower. I slept comfortably and the streets are quiet during the night. I only paid $40 for the night so itās certainly easy on the wallet. As far as location, itās a walkerās dream. Seoul Station connects to high-speed rail as well as metro lines. Myeongdong is about a 30 minute walk from the hotel. There are plenty of eateries around including those at Seoul Station. If youāre a budget traveler or low maintenance, I highly recommend this place.

The location near to DDP and subway stations. A bit lost for finding the community desk for check in but after that everything was fine! Mostly are for youngsters and not for travellers who are looking for traditional cozy hotels. Their room was clean and tidy. Amenities were sufficient and the floor was quiet. Enjoyed a good night view with the Namsan Tower too!
Depends on your need to watch TV or not because they won't have it at the room.

This lovely establishment offers the convenience of an airport limousine bus service right at its doorstep, with Mapo Subway station just a short stroll away. In the middle of Hongdaeās nightlife, you are close to the action. Can be a bit loud on weekends, and I recommend getting rooms further from the bathroom to sleep in peace. Very close to a lot of cool vintage shops, small restaurants, bars and awesome cafĆ©s. Staff was nice and spoke English!

I stayed at the FP Sheraton Gangnam several times, but writing a review for the first time.
First off, the staff was very friendly and accommodating- they upgraded my mother's room to a suite; provided a small welcome package; and assisted my parents with transportation to the airport.
The room was also very clean and big. The view from the room was awesome and the beds were very clean and plush.
As for the location, FP is walking distance from Garosugil and Apgujung-two of the most posh neighborhoods in Gangnam with great resturants, nightlife, and shopping.

My 80 year old father and I had a good stay at the Fairfield Marriott on our last night in Seoul. Check in was easy, the elevators are high tech detecting your room floor when you hold the key to the hub, but the rooms are small. There's a sliding door separating the bathroom from the bedroom, but the bathroom is at the front of the room to include the door for entry. Essentially if you're on the toilet and your family/friend has left the room, you'd have to yell out to keep them from entering while on the throne. Not a big deal for overnight but for a longer stay that might be problematic. Also, said door is not quiet, so getting up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom requires you to make noise to slide the door closed. The room was otherwise nice. The bed was firm, the shower was good and had wash clothes. There's two hooks for hanging towels after you've used them which I think is golden. The breakfast buffet is just okay. There are plenty of food restaurants across the street from the hotel. We also had a Thai massage in that area. Oh, the slippers are really cheap, as seen in a pic... Lol.

We loved our stay at the Urban-Est Hotel. Heading to the Waterbomb Festival for the weekend, the hotelās convenient location, just 20 minutes away by taxi, was perfect for our plans. The surrounding area was nicer than we expected, with plenty of cool restaurants and little shops to explore. The 7-11 on the main floor connected to the hotel was an added convenience. The lobby was very nice, and everything was exceptionally clean and spacious, even the hallways.
We stayed in a family suite, which was immaculate and well-appointed. The shower was spacious and luxurious, and the toilet had a bidet, adding to the comfort. While I prefer a softer bed and found the bed a bit firm, it didnāt detract much from our overall experience. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would book the Urban-Est Hotel again.

The hotel was nice than I expected. The location is great being by the subway/KTX station. There are lots of restaurants nearby. You can also take the airport limousine from the station.

GGrace KuangylHotel is located near anguk station. Just a little 5mins walk from the hotel. very near insadong and many food places.
Below the main hotel there are some retail shops and restaurant & GS25(but it seems like the GS25 there is automated cashier or something because you cant jus go in as you wish). But there is another nearby GS25 jus a few abt 2 mins walk down on the way to subway.
Did not take the airport bus because I was rushing for time. Although the Hotel told me that it will be a 5mins walk, but I personally would not recommend if you have big large suitcases because you got to pass through humans as that area is pretty busy in the day. But it is still convenient if you want to take and a much cheaper option. (i would recommend if you take airport bus if you arrive late night)
Hotel room is big and clean & there is mountian view too! Never expect it from a city hotel. I requested for a high floor and was glad they accede to my request. However, I think i requested for a standing shower room too last minute, thus, they still assign me a bathtub room. But thats ok, I just make do with it. Basic amenities all provided (except disposable ones due to korea's law)
They are quite strict with check in time, but I manage to store my luggage at their lockers and did a wash up before heading out for lunch. So if you arrive early, do prepare some small travel cleanser or a fresh clothes in your bagpack so that you wont have to dig your luggage.
overall, im quite happy with my stay and would definitely consider coming back to this hotel.

First, it was disappointed to find out the shower gel dispenser is broken by ourselves when I was naked standing in the shower room. I would assume the staff should know the condition of the room. I wish the front desk informed me when I checked in and ask if I could accept it or not since I pay no less than others.
Second, the refrigerator has the smallest capacity Iāve ever seen.
Pros:
Room is clean and spacious enough for 2 luggage. Staff are nice. They smile and greet. Location is incredible, super convenient! Kinda quiet in a noisy neighborhood. The subway station is right under the building. Itās easy to reach to most of attractions and can go through to the airport without any transfer.
Money exchanging machine is available in the lobby.

AAnonymous UserLocation is more suitable for business travellers who want to work & commute in financial district, otherwise thereās not much to do in this whole area as itās very hard to find a decent or simple eatery which opens near late night compared to living in Dongdaemun and Gangnam. Our room is located high and we can have a glance of the nearby buildings and overlooked further. They donāt provide full amenities compared to 2 other 5-stars hotels we had stayed in during this trip. So prep yourself with our necessary amenities like earbuds, combs, earplugs, sewing kits if needed in any case..
The hotel room is quite spacious and toilet is equipped with a bathtub which we didnāt get to utilise at all but my child had once because she wanted to play a bath bomb for 10 mins. Other items like ironing board, iron, Nespresso coffee machine, distilled water bottles, beverages and condiments, safe box, fridge were all provided.
And I find it quite troubling as there were too many ābig-countryā tourists either staying in the hotel or those living in Seoul going to the Hyundai Seoul mall to buy luxury goods. And the entire mall is crazily flooded and packed with youngsters on the day of our check-in and the next day. Some came to window-shop while most others came in for food and perhaps after meals, to seek shelter and shield from the cold. You wonāt be believed this you canāt even find a place to eat as all fast food eateries, snacks counters and restaurants were fully unavailable. There were basically long queues everywhere you go. Ended up my super famished poor child had to walk a long way with us & venture out in the cold to find any available restaurant to have our dinner.
International breakfast is served daily at L5 and the buffet spread is limited compared to the one we stayed & had in Dongdaemun. We had to pay additional 55,000KRW (SGD55) per day for our young child to dine in with us as her breakfast was not included in our accommodation package. I think itās really too expensive and given that we always came down only at 9.30am and the breakfast stopped at 10am sharp. The food she always had was a small bowl of cereal, 4 small bite-sized hash-browns and a glass of milk only where she had to eat fast within 30mins before they closed for the day. For such price paid, itās totally not worth it and we canāt avoid paying lesser despite they knew we only had 30 mins left to dine.
Overall the concierge service crewsā attitude and professionalism were excellent and Fairmont had the best staffs with great service i encountered during our 3 weeks stay across 3 different 5-stars hotels. I wished I will have another chance to stay here again but the price for each night is SGD450++, which is really expensive.

GGuest UserWe enjoyed our room the most and felt that we had a good night's rest here. This is a semi budget friendly hotel that is close to the palace/park areas of Seoul. The room was clean and well appointed with two comfy beds, two good pillows per bed, a chair, cabinets and drawers to store stuff, a big tv, robes and sandals. The bathroom was nice too with good shower pressure and one of those shower valves where you can pick the temperature you want. The toilet flushed quietly and there was plenty of shower space. There are frosted windows in the bathroom which help let in natural day light but if your partner uses it at night you will see the lights come on.
The location was decent but the metro was further than expected. When we booked trip.com showed us that it was 330m from Dongmyo Station but it was actually closest to jongno 5 entrance 2 which was a 10 minute walk away from the hotel. The palace and Hanbok areas are very close to the hotel and there are frequent busses in the area to take you to the major attractions and areas. Nearby the hotel there are many convenience stores but there are limited restaurant options outside of coffee shops.
The breakfast at the hotel was ok. We found there was a good variety but if you went too early (7:30 am) nothing was out yet and if you went later (8:30) everything was limited. The hot items were not as hot as we liked them to be despite the heaters so it might be worth getting early and getting your food when it comes out so it is nice and hot. There were scrambled eggs, fried eggs, marbled cheese the one day, stuff to make salad, an onion soup, mushroom soup, fried rice, a hot vegetable (one day it was potato and the next it was mushrooms), hot dogs, cut up fruit, bread/toaster, cut up muffins, orange juice, coffee and tea. There was enough to get by and there are pricey a la carte options. The restaurant was a little drafty when we went but it was just enough to get us started each day.
The staff at the hotel were friendly and allowed us to store our baggage when we arrived early so we could go out and explore the city. When we actually checked in it was smooth and quick. The elevators are a little tricky at the hotel and you have to pay attention to which elevator is closest to you and press that button. There are two elevators but there are two separate buttons to call them so it is worthwhile looking where the elevators are and choosing accordingly. The hotel also has a coin laundry facility and a meeting area. The lobby is also nicely appointed with furniture and a small drinks shop but being there in December we wouldn't want to hang out there long.

SSharnieItās smaller than I had imagined, husband couldnāt lift his arms properly in the tight shower booth. Fire alarm went off at 3am and the hotel worker looked busy checking for a fire himself. After alarm kept blaring for 20 mins my husband decided to call emergency, firefighters arrived within a few mins. Turned out to be a false alarm but it couldāve been over a lot quicker if the hotel worker called emergency first.

Very small room gives you some Japanese vibes. That's also supported by the toilet. There was some USB socket broken, though it didn't deliver any problem.
If you're an individual that needs a one night stay in Seoul - the Manu Hotel is quite a good choice. Plenty of the shops and cafes in vicinity. Close to Namdaemun Market and the street. The Seoulista restaraunt or bar (I'd better call it a bar) - is ok for late dinner if you don't want to look for anything else.
Some reviewers wrote about homeless people on the way from Seoul station (right in front actually) to the hotel. Though I didn't find the ācleanā pass to the walkway (from the station) and had to encounter them, I don't see any problem - there's a police station right there. Had a small problem finding a way on top of the walkway as the lift is a bit hidden (but you have to be complete ***** not finding it).

CCcalcfThe hotel is next to Hyundai outlet mall, Doota Mall, DDP, Migliore , convenient if you are into late night shopping.
Line card has no expiry date and you can use it for buses, subways , convenience shops.
There are restaurants nearby but we didnāt try any on this trip.
Note:
Most ( may be all?) Korea hotels donāt provide disposable toothbrushes for free anymore( government policy I read some where )

4442sanaaeI loved the fact that the location is perfect for a quite night as well as itās so closed to Namsan tower for a beautiful walk in morning, Myeongdong for shopping and sightseeing in evening time and many places I can get to in less than 15 mins The guest house is perfectly clean , they have a healthy breakfast as well as a projector where I played my favorite movies at night before heading to sleep. The family are so nice and always there to help me with everything I needed ^_^ I recommend this place for long term and short term stays~~
