Crown Park Hotel Myeongdong Seoul
4.2/5263 Reviews
Myeong-dong
The room is very dusty and it caused us bad allergies for the first few days. The water bottle provided had a layer of fine dusts on it too which looks uncomfortable to drink. Their pillows are extremely soft, almost lying flat on the bed. Other than that, everything else was not bad - the water heater change’s temperature instantly which is great and the toilet is clean with fresh towels provided daily. They do not provide, shavers/toothbrushes/toothpaste and these are chargeable. Overall, the room has a good amount of space to fit in 3 of us with big luggages.
Nine Tree Hotel Dongdaemun

Dongdaemun Market
Hotel was 5mins walk from Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Exit 12. You can use the lift at Exit 12 (first photo), to/from Level B2 & 1 as the 4 escalators leading up to street level do not work. The room has everything you need, it’s very clean and new (beds and pillows were good >> didn’t give any backache 😂), with a very convenient water and ice dispenser in the walkway. On top of that, the room has free 2 bottles of mineral water everyday. There are many convenient stores around the hotel. You can have your tax refund done at DOOTA Mall near the hotel so you don’t have to queue at the airport to get your $ back before your departure. Myeongdong Street (at Lotte Young Plaza stop) was also about 10 mins bus ride to the hotel with 5 buses running on the same route. Would recommend staying at this hotel again! The locker for luggage storage (last photo - it fits a L size luggage) was really an advantage - you could dump your luggage before and after your check-in! Finally, airport bus 6001 to the airport is right outside the hotel - prepare 2 hours journey for road traffic conditions near Seoul station enroute to airport.
Henn-na Hotel Seoul Myeongdong

Myeong-dong
Henn na Hotel Location: 2 mins walk from Myeongdong Station exit 10. Self check in was easy at the counter. Hotel was opened in 2021, so still fairly new. Robots and Dinosaurs greeting you at main lobby. Room is about 16-17 sq meters. Enough space to open luggage fully. Note: Toothbrush not included. Can be purchased at 1000 won each. Overall, love the location.
Aloft Seoul Myeongdong

If you're looking for a great place to stay in Seoul, I highly recommend the Aloft Hotel. My partner and I recently stayed there, and it was one of the best hotels we've ever been to. The location is perfect - it's super close to Myeongdong and the subway station, so you can quickly get around the city. Plus, there's always something to do in the area. We loved the loft-style room and the modern amenities. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we can't wait to return.
Four Points by Sheraton Josun, Seoul Myeongdong
4.5/5402 Reviews
Myeong-dong
It is OK - not fantastic but definitely an option. The two best things about it were location (less than 5 min walk to Myeongdong and very close to Insadong too but away from the noise) and breakfast which sometimes can be very minimalistic in Seoul so this one was above expectations. Rooms are small and a bit stuffy - a bit too much for the price they cost. But quite tastefully decorated so not unpleasant all in all. Breakfast is good with mostly Western options but a few Asian ones to complement as well. Much better compared to the average hotel in Seoul.
Nine Tree Premier Hotel Myeongdong 2

This is the view I had when I arrived and when I woke up. Right at the foot of the bed. The location is great. I was able to walk to amd from the market a few times in the day. I did walk all the way to Seoul Tower seen in the pics. I didnt time the walk because I was randomly walking in that direction, exploring. The busy map was day 2, the chill map was day 1. I didnt use an app for directions I just used landmarks. Its easy 😅. The hotel desk ordered a taxi for me to get to Seoul Station. My room had a bath. Loved it. The wall is high so hang your towel, bathe, wrap up in towel, sit on tub wall and get out. Its safer. They have a corner store in the lobby for food, wine and beer.
