I chose a luxury hotel because I would be spending Christmas Eve and Christmas alone. From afternoon tea to room service, everything was Christmassy and fun.

I stayed at Shanghai Center J Hotel for one night to celebrate my birthday on the weekend. As soon as I entered the hotel, a receptionist would ask if you were dining or staying. If you were staying, you would go to the registration desk on the right to check the order information and then the receptionist would take you to the hotel lobby on the 101st floor. There is a J-shaped copper feather in the hotel lobby on the 1st floor, which is the symbol of J Hotel. Behind the feather is a huge crystal stone door installation, a red crystal carved door head, and an 8-meter-high crystal door column, which shines brightly in the changing lights. There are deer with Christmas elements on both sides of the interior, and the Christmas atmosphere is very strong. Taking the high-speed elevator from the 1st floor to the 101st floor, my ears suddenly tinnitus. In less than a minute, I went straight to the 101st floor hotel lobby, and a visual and artistic cloud journey began. There will be several receptionists on both sides of the elevator. Whether you take the elevator from 101 to 120 to eat, or take the elevator from 86 to 101 to the guest room, there will be someone to guide you. After sitting down in the lobby, I gave my ID card to the receptionist, and then a butler came to serve. The hotel will call one day in advance to ask if there are any requirements for the room. We chose a Western-style room and said it was our birthday. Sure enough, there was a surprise on the day of check-in. The bed in the room was already decorated, with a birthday cake made of towels and flower petals. A small birthday cake and a 4-piece fruit platter were also given, which was a happy thing. After registering, 2 rooms were swiped for a deposit of 7,000, and an art protection agreement was signed. The butler will take you into the guest room and introduce what is free and what is charged in the mini bar, which is quite good. Finally, the butler took us to the Yi Lounge on the 84th floor to taste afternoon tea. It was still quite windy on Saturday, so the lady took us to a small private room. Although there was not much food in the lounge, the beef tongue, roast beef, and black gold siu mai still surprised me. The champagne was also good. Finally, I had a cup of coffee to relieve the greasiness. The breakfast on the second day was semi-self-service. Noodles, wontons, and various eggs had to be ordered. The taste was good. PS: Finally, let me talk about the shortcomings. The bed in the hotel is really high. It is not friendly to a dwarf like me who is 1.58 meters tall. My parents are 70 years old and they also feel that the bed is a bit high. There is also an elevator. Although our room is a long way from the elevator, it is probably because of the high-speed elevator. When I slept at night, I could still hear the sound. Everything else, from service to dishes, is very good.
