The room is in a very good environment, it is a loft-style, you can also see the scenery of the ancient city upstairs, and all kinds of facilities are very complete. The boss is very nice, he picked us up when we came, because the car to go home was very early, the suitcase was not easy to drag, the boss got up at six o'clock to send us, really super grateful 🙏 The scenery on the second floor is very good, there is also a hanging chair, the boss will also send a basket of fruit every day, really highly recommended! !

Traveled with elderly parent and the 3 of us were staying in the boutique family room tatami style. We were glad that the owner has assigned ground floor room so we do not need to climb any stairs. Room was spacious , cozy and comfortable with centrally controlled heater. Has hair dryer, clean rooms and most importantly comfy beds. There is a make shift curtain acting as a door to the bathroom with good ventilation fan. Place was quiet and not noisy even though we were very near the dance square in ancient town. We were welcomed with ginger tea and friendly host Danny has provided travel options and suggestion on what to do and where to go around Shangri la. We made friends with other stayers from Korea and Ganna as we bonded over drinks and snacks. They also ferried our luggage to the north gate after our checkout. Will definitely return to stay in here again when we return to Shangri la.

Nice hotel with a museum inside. Big comfortable room. They cleaned the toilet every day, but not the room. The phone number on Trip doesn't work, so we couldn't contact them to pick us up from the airport. They offered a free ride to the train station after having asked for it. They have ******* clothes available for free for photos

I have stayed in many hotels in Shangrila old town over the past 12 years so have a little experience. Location: Close to the top dancing square but at the top of a very steep hill. It had rained so the stone street was VERY slippery. It is close to impossible to walk up the hill with suitcase. There is a 1/2 meter wide ***** of carpet that was laid down on the right side of the road going up the hill. It gave great traction, but unfortunately some non-thinking person had parked their electric cart directly on top of the carpet so you could not navigate it. I arrived at 6 PM and that electric cart was still sitting on the carpet in the same place the next morning at 9 AM. Trying to walk around the electric cart , but I did slip and fell to the ground. I would not come back to this hotel again, if there was any potential for any rain. The picture is of the morning after the rain had dried. When I booked my room, they did tell me that there was only one room remaining and it was for four people. I was solo but I booked it anyway. Unfortunately, I did not understand that there are four beds that are actually side-by-side touching each other. They are very very thin pads laid on top of a wooden platform. No way to get into or out of any bed without crawling back to the foot of the bed and going over the edge that way. It was the hardest sleeping service I have ever been on and got very little sleep. If I had my sleeping bag and camping mattress, I would’ve just slept on the floor. Won’t be back here again. The service people at the hotel were very nice. Offered to carry my bag up to my room on the third floor and the woman who provided the breakfast in the morning was very pleasant. Have no complain about the service just the beds in the access to the hotel. If it’s raining, make it a no go for me 

The location is very convenient yet quiet in the middle of the hustle and bustle. It takes three minutes to walk from the north gate of the ancient city and turn right. In the morning, the boss will make butter tea and highland barley cakes for everyone, which are much more delicious than those sold in the ancient city. I'm a very picky sleeper, and this was the first night in four days that I was able to fall asleep for more than three hours. There is floor heating and a humidifier, it is not noisy at night, the bedding is clean and comfortable, and it is cleaned very well.

I had such a great stay at Lanyun Inn. Upon arriving at this quiet and comfortable Inn, I was immediately impressed by how spacious and inviting my room was. It came with heated floors, a comfortable bed, hot water, great wifi, and very convenient location. I got the best sleep here throughout my entire stay in China. I'm not sure if the girl working the front desk is the owner or not, but she is so nice. She helped me bring my bags to my room, answered any questions I had, and took me to the airport at 6am - no questions asked! I have to say the hospitality at Lanyun Inn is some of the best I've come across throughout my travels. Thank you so much for making my stay so great and I highly recommend staying here!

The hotel location is located 5 minutes walk to the main crowded town. The place is quiet for a good sleep. Hotel staffs are very friendly , welcoming you with drinks and treats on your arrivals. They can arrange a 1 time free pick up or send off to airport or train station when you request. 阿方, the hotel staff has help me alot during my trips on transport arrangements to all the sightseeing. The room provide free oxygen supply if you have any altitudes sickness and also have free winter jackets and traditional custom to wear if you need. The room is cosy and all the facilities and toiletries are well provided. Hot showers and the room floor are also well heated when the weather is cold during winter and early spring. I was there on April and night time is cold. There is also free morning breakfast, all day coffee and tea provided. Most staffs can speak and understand English which is good for tourists who don't speak well Mandarin. Many thanks to all the friendly and approachable staffs, especially to 阿方 and the lady cleaner who found back my sunglasses and immediately return to me on the last day of my departure. Will stay again and recommend my friends if ever I come back again for holidays.. 😊

The hotel arranged a convenient pickup from Shangri-La Railway Station after I contacted them via Trip.com and shared my WeChat, making the process smooth and easy. The room was nice and clean, providing a comfortable stay. Located in an area with ******* traditional clothing shops, the hotel offered a delightful cultural experience, and walking around at night in the cool weather was especially enjoyable.

I booked for two nights first, and stayed for another two nights. Unfortunately, I didn't take a photo of the room. I only took a photo of the ancient city building from the window at night. I lived in a light luxury viewing room, on the third floor. The room is very large, very comfortable and clean, and the yard of the hotel is also well maintained ~ and it is newly opened, very new! The boss is very nice, he drove out to pick us up when we came, and helped us with our luggage, very heartwarming! I will stay again next time I come to play!

I took my children to Shangri-La for a holiday. I booked a hotel online. The environment was very good. They were all wooden lofts, very ******* style. The boss was very young and a good person. After checking in, he recommended local travel tips and introduced attractions to us. The boss also drove us to the place where we had dinner (more than 10 kilometers round trip to the Tusi Banquet). He communicated with us enthusiastically along the way. My wife and children were going to Songzanlin Temple to take photos the next day. The boss also helped us arrange stores to rent clothes and makeup, and also arranged photographers for the photos. It was really considerate and thoughtful. And we didn't have to go by ourselves, he came to pick us up directly. I am very grateful for the boss's thoughtfulness. I have left my contact information and I will definitely stay at his house next time.
