Ryokan Sakurai

I've only visited Ikaho on a day trip so far, and it was my first time staying there, so I couldn't help but look forward to it. There was a quiet feeling because it was a little away from the famous stone steps. The staff's customer service was also polite. The room was clean and comfortable. I felt that the open-air bath was small, but I happened to be able to take a relaxing bath because I didn't cover it with other people. I'm a little worried about the busy season. The food was nothing memorable. I wonder if it's okay to elaborate a little more.

We stayed with 3 people including a child (5 months old). Strollers are not suitable as there are stairs in the corridor leading from the lobby to the rooms. The inn is clean overall. The room was also well cleaned. The windows are large and open. As for the bath, the water in the washing area of the large public bath is designed to stop automatically after a while, but it really stops soon. There are also large public baths in other inns that automatically stop, but I feel that they stop too early here. Instinctively, it comes out for about 10 seconds and stops immediately. It was troublesome to have to put out the water each time. The indoor bath and open-air bath were small, but there weren't many people, so I took it easy. There were various amenities in the dressing room. Clippings from magazines were displayed as an introduction to the amenities, but the clippings were very old and made me chuckle. I also reserved a private bath, but it is dim overall. The dressing room is dark and hot. There was a fan, but I don't think it makes much sense. I couldn't enter because my child cried a lot, but I think the atmosphere is good. We had breakfast and dinner in the room. The amount is moderate, and the arrangement is beautiful and carefully made. It was very good for us who eat quickly because they carry everything at once. What was disappointing was that when I was holding my child, the person who showed me to the room said, ``When you hold a baby, you get used to it. Your child also has a habit of hugging.” He probably gave me advice, but it was an unnecessary help because of the old parenting theory. We think that it is just right hotel to stay casually without excessive expectation.
