Stayed during early stage of wet season so experienced short duration heavy daily rainfall. Some flotsam and litter here and there on the white quartz sand but overall not fairly clean. Welcoming Cambodian owners (husband and wife). They supply some coffee, tea and light refreshments as well as a lunch and dinner menu. Rooms OK overall. Aircon cools down fast. WiFi signal strength good. Laundry cheap. Tariff ($55 AUD per night) is on the high side but is compatible with its competition given the rampant price gauging on Koh Rong. Plenty of nearby eating and drinking options as well as recreational e.g. diving, snorkelling, taxi boats, horse riding, jet skiing, wind gliding and whatnot.

Helpful staff at reception, allowed us to leave our bags before and after check in/out. Reception is based on the main street in front of shoreline but our room was located 1min walk up a little lane beside it, it suited us because it was less noisy up there. The area we stayed in was a big barn shed divided into rooms. Walls only go about half way around the room then the topos open and links to other rooms so you can hear other occupants even when and if they talk quietly... Some can be very loud. Mosquitos and bugs galore in the room. Our mosquito net had a big hole in it and also they didn't provide a peg or anything to keep the opening closed and sealed for night time. The bed sheets were dirty and were horrible to sleep in. When we first arrived mosquitos had been hiding in the pillows and blanket when I shook them out they all flew off. No Internet connection either.. Both our phones said no Internet access when connected to WiFi.. Very disappointing. A cat lives in the room right accross from us, was meowing all of the first night.. Think it was hungry as it was very thin and had 4 kittens about 2 weeks old. We stayed 2 nights here and I was glad to leave after.

We’re a couple staying for 2 nights. The room is located about 10 mins walk from pier/bars and restaurants. It’s up a steep hill and it is dark at night but it was quiet. The room is basic but it’s clean and comfortable with air con. We didn’t have the breakfast so can’t comment there. There is a sushi restaurant next to the bungalows if u want to buy drinks. It’s not a luxury 5* resort but thats reflected in the price, probably the best stay on Koh Toch beach. Email well ahead with a time for someone to help you collect your bags. We would recommend for a short stay.

A few friends and I stayed here back in March. The service was faultless and the staff were very attentive and friendly. We were even upgraded to a beach side room! Not all of the bungalows are air conditioned but this is advertised whilst booking. My only qualm was that the shower wasn't particularly powerful but that's all part and parcel of the location, which is absolutely stunning.

I honestly can't say enough good things about this place. It's beautiful & the location is marvelous, easy walking distance to the beach. The bungalows are clean & beds are nice. Dora (forgive me if I've butchered the name spelling), the lovely Russian woman who runs the place, was exceedingly kind & gracious to us throughout our stay. My girlfriend & I can't go home yet because of Covid-19, but Dora made us feel right at home the whole time we stayed here. If you're going to Koh Rong, do yourself a favor & stay at Tree House Bungalow. You won't regret it!

Amazing location on the beach, with beach on one side and pool on the other. Depending on the time of the day we rotated between. Everything was clean and well looked after. Room with AC and hot water. It was right beside the pier so easy to get to, and the ocean was pristine and baby blue. They have towels, paddle boards, row boat, or snorkel you can just borrow (not great snorkelling though). We decided to not include the breakfast because it was $12 American and we thought quite expensive for a normal buffet breakfast but a lot of guests enjoyed it. Right up from the pier there’s lots of local restaurants and we experimented with them and really enjoyed the food, smoothies, and coconuts. There’s also a small shop beside the hotel that sells drinks and coffee (ask for with milk and ice!) so we bought our drinks there instead of the hotel. My only feedback was I didn’t like how they didn’t provide more water, only 2 small bottles a day. I think they should have a larger jug that we can fill up to be more sustainable. Overall loved this place and would definitely come back!

Long Beach Resort is located in such a beautiful spot that you’ll never want to leave. The beach stretches for miles in either direction, the sand is pristine, and the snorkeling at the shore can be as good as elsewhere across these islands. Staff are very friendly and can help arrange anything for you. Use Facebook to contact for pickup rather than email. Wifi works fine near the restaurant, otherwise only certain SIM cards have signal. Breakfast could be better, but otherwise the restaurant food is very good. Would definitely stay again.

i absolutely love this place. Food, beach, sea, pool everything was gorgeous. Any dish and drinks from menu was so much delicious. Staff was so friendly and helpful. It was really the best choice for such price. Also I liked so much that can take for free some boats and kayaks from the hotel. We really had more fun there. Also want to mention some minuses which maybe not totally connected with the hotel but would like somebody tell me in advance about it: 1) hotel doesn’t accept all cash. At our last day we need to get some changes and hotel didn’t accept my hundred dollar because there was some red stamp on it. As for me it’s so strange but I heard it could happen in Cambodia. But next day when we moved to the Sihanouk they accept this hundred dollar easily , so I don’t understand this logic too much. But even the hotel didn’t accept that hundred they still help us with some cash as for us it was urgent to buy tickets for early morning ferry. 2) and the biggest minus it was trip which we bought from the hotel: fishing +snorkeling +sunset+plankton Never ever buy it! Safe 20$ for anything else. The most useless half of day of my trip was there. And what make me sad it was last day in the Koh Rong. Was upset that spent last evening at this stupid way. The tour is organized by tourist group “three brothers “ and the hotel sell it. Could be nice if they tell from beginning that this trip is a total 💩and don’t allow spoil vocation of there customers. But anyway nobody force us to buy it so can’t totally blame hotel, but…😢 So will explain why I such upset about the trip. We came to the ferry and boat brought us to another place where stay 3 boats . Than we change boat and a guy just give us that special mask for snorkeling and tell: ok go… but our boat was staying between 2 other boats so how I should go I didn’t understand. After we sitting and don’t understand anything for 10-15 min other boats left than we decided to go inside water. There was no fish !!!!!!!!! Maybe maximum 5 fishes!!!!!! We saw more in the hotel.than fishing: they didn’t teach us anything didn’t explain anything we just stop they gave us something as thing for fishing and just went to sleep. Than after one hour when one chinese girl almost start to vomiting we went to dirty dirty and over dirty long set beach for sunset. And we arrived there around 3:30-4! So should wait for sunset 2 hours!!!!! When we ask to put at least music they said: captain want to sleep… And beach was over dirty!!!! Than they start to cook some food gave some drinks, we watch sunset was beautiful ( because thanks God they can’t spoil sunset) and then we went to watch plankton. I was so exited about that and than they stop us on the middle of the nowhere and don’t tell anything. Where is plankton? Full moon no have plankton… how we know it? Why we still stay in that place 30 mint. I would like to know answers for all this questions but nobody gave me it… so was the worst time from 1:30pm to 7:30pm. If don’t Wang to spoil u day never go there!!!!

Great value for money. Location is fantastic and the rooms are very nice. There was some problem with my reservation but the manager and the staff were very helpful in finding a solution. I really enjoyed my staying here and I'd definitely come back. Whether you stay here or not, I recommend coming here for dinner. They can organize a nice BBQ on the beach; it's a great experience (we did it twice and we were the only table), the food is amazing, and it costs like eating at any other restaurant in the area (but here you eat very well, in the other beach restaurants not so well, in my experience).

The scenery is very good, there are few people, the sand is soft, fine and white, and the water is clear and clean. The bungalow was quiet and spacious. Just a few meters to swim in the sea and about 7 minutes walk to the village. There was a large selection of restaurants there. You could rent a scooter directly from the landlord. Recommended.
