WHITEWOODS CONVENTION AND LEISURE HOTEL

We had a terrible experience and suffered tremendously. This hotel does not keep the basic sanitary and hygiene standards to serve food & drink in its convention center. We will never go back. May this review serve as a warning to others: Do not come here unless you are looking to experience diarrhea and amoeba wreaking havoc on your body. My family and I were among the 70+ people who attended a conference held in Whitewoods Convention & Leisure Hotel in Silang, Cavite. We consumed their food and drink day and night every day from Oct. 31 to Nov. 02, 2023. At the end of it all, a great number of us suffered from diarrhea and stomach pains right after the whole conference was over, with some already suffering from diarrhea even during the dates that we were there. My own sibling suffered diarrhea and had to go back and forth to the toilet every 15 mins. He also tested positive for amoebiasis. Four of my family of seven got diarrhea and stomach pains. I myself still have stomach pains even as I write this review. Our body feels very weak after having to experience all the above. I later found out from a fellow attendee that she saw the kitchen of the hotel while passing by and found that it was extremely dirty and unsanitary. Had I gotten this information earlier, my family and I would not have not consumed any food or drink coming from this hotel. The brief description of our experience above does not describe the great amount of suffering that my family had to go through because of the severe negligence of this hotel’s management on the basic duty of what such establishments ought to do, which is to serve clean food and drink. To the management of this hotel, you should immediately take the necessary steps so that such experiences will not recur again. If not, I would rather that you cease operating all together. Your negligence has greatly harmed people.
