Siracusa Hotels with Gym

On Christmas Eve, influenced by the famous American travel writer Rick Steves, we arrived at Ortea. Ortea is one of the most worth staying places in Sicily. The scenery is beautiful, clean and tidy. Many of the Sicilian seafood restaurants are full of small islands. Ortea Luxury Palace( Horta Luxury Hotel) is well-deserved, the location and facilities are first-class, the hotel staff is also good, warm and generous, responsive, and the impression is excellent.

The room is decent for a city hotel, catering more towards business travellers. The hotel is conveniently located, a 30-minute walk to Ortigia's island city but less than 5 minutes from the Archaeological Park of Neapolis. Getting to Ortigia is easy via a quick ride on the red bus costing just €1.50, payable to the driver. The reception is notably friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good, offering a brilliant variety of food and drinks. Additionally, there is a large supermarket around the corner of the hotel. Parking is free.

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to both Syracusa and Otigia. We drove from Catania airport to the hotel, which took around an hour. Even using Sat nav, it was extremely difficult to locate! The hotel is located in a residential area with its car park with almost no places locally to eat or drink. However we did find an extremely Japanese restaurant on our last day. The room we had was very clean and breakfast was also very good. The hotel has almost no atmosphere in the evenings but an honest bar.

L'hotel è molto bello, moderno, in zona tranquilla e silenziosa, con piscina esterna e interna (presente idromassaggio e centro benessere) e palestra. La nostra camera era molto più grande delle camere che si trovano solitamente (sembrava una suite!) e anche il letto era extra size. Si dorme da favola e la pulizia è davvero impeccabile. L'unica cosa migliorabile è la colazione: la scelta potrebbe essere più ampia. La struttura è isolata quindi è necessario avere un mezzo proprio per spostarsi. Nel complesso, molto meglio delle attese, più simile ad un 5 stelle che ad un 4.

A resort type hotel in form of brick bungalow in Europe. It comes with a private pier where you could board on a comfortable boat going to Ortigia (the old town) in half an hour. The landscape there looks so gorgeous that anyone who lives in this hotel should miss it. It also has a private beach which can be accessed through a private tunnel which is quite interesting. Overall, a very beautiful resort overlooking the ortigia with very friendly services and 5-star facilities.

The DMB was one of the surprise highlights of our recent Sicily trip. The sense of arrive that we received from Cinzia and Davide was phenomenal! Not only did they provide an over the top arrival experience but they were constantly available to make us feel at home in this amazingly comfortable boutique hotel. Their location provides great views and it's close to anything you want to see. Their breakfasts were over the top. Can't wait to go back and we again want to thank you C & D for all you warmth! This small hotel on the island of Ortigia , is a gem. It’s on the seafront, and rooms with a sea view are the best so ask. It has several flights of stairs , to reception and the bedrooms and the roof terrace.. Our room was very spacious , with a great bathroom. Comfortable beds, great a/c and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was in the hotel opposite , very basic but enough. I can recommend the omelettes, and the cheeses. What makes this hotel so good though is the staff . They are very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble . We loved our stay on this lovely historic island.
