L’hôtel est grandiose et décoré avec soin. Cependant les chambres, bien que confortables, sont minuscules pour 2 personnes. Les produits de toilette sont de très grande signature et en abondance. Le petit déjeuner est plutôt copieux en début de service . Les plats chauds sont à la demande mais le personnel qui prend les commandes, bien que souriant, est insaisissable. Des hauts et des bas dans ce bel hôtel situé face à la mer.

Ho avuto il piacere di provare il percorso benessere della SPA dell'albergo e di conoscere la spa manager Valentina che con il suo massaggio, eseguito con maestria, applicando le antiche tecniche della Riflessologia, lavorando a lungo sulle zone del piede e con l'ulteriore trattamento di esfoliazione alla Papaya con massaggio, mi ha donato reale e profondo senso di rilassamento e un aspetto splendido. Esperienza da ripetere!

we stayed in ortegia for 5 nights, which turned out ot be our favorite town in sicily. The hotel is a renovated historic structure with 63 rooms. if you are appreciative of design and the arts, this place cannot be missed. The owners of the hotel have an extensive art collection which can be viewed throughout the hotel. all the rooms are filled with paintings from the collection. The fabrics, the lighting (murano), furniture, finishes, are all sourced from Italy. no expense was spared. Our room 215 was beautifully appointed. 12 foot ceilings. the roof top bar and restaurant was our favorite place at sunset.The place is a gem. special thanks to some of the staff to name those that remember, Luisa (a gem), Eva, Chaira, flavia, nicolo and so many others.

Deux nuits en couple mi octobre. Superbe emplacement: vous pourrez visiter Ortigia à pied depuis l'hôtel. Service voiturier très appréciable car il est difficile de trouver une place sur cette presqu'ile d'Ortigia. Accueil et service par une équipe souriante, agréable et très professionnelle! Très belle décoration belle époque/ néo moderne, véritable havre de paix. Chambre Deluxe vue mer: prestations de de grande qualité, digne d'un 5 étoile. Seul bémol notre ménage à été oublié le premier jour et notre chambre située à côté d'une porte de service qui "claquait" bruyamment trop souvent... Excellent petit déjeuner.

This magnificent 5 star hotel offers rooms that are both handsome and comfortable, a friendly and competent staff, a magnificent roof top pool, and exquisite dining in its top floor dining room with a splendid view of the harbor-- all at the very heart of historic Ortigia (much superior to staying in adjacent Siracusa).

This is an unscrupulous hotel which stole money from me and my disabled husband. We arrived at this hotel and discovered that despite their google advertisement, they do not in fact have an operational pool. My husband is disabled and needs a pool as part of his physical therapy which is why it was so important. When they informed us of this when we arrived at the hotel, the manager was not in but they said he would try to do something to rectify the situation when he came in the next day, so we decided to stay. We finally heard from the manager late the next day who really did not offer us any solution. I had to scramble to find an alternate accommodation, which I finally did, but we had to stay an additional night. We had originally reserved 3 nights but checked out after two. When we checked out we were told that the manager was again not in and when he got in the next day he would issue a refund for the night that we did not stay at the hotel. I immediately emailed the manager and documented everything in writing. Well, you can imagine the outcome....they totally ghosted us and refused to issue the refund. I called, emailed etc but they ripped us off for almost $1,000.00 for the night we did not stay at the hotel...plus we had to pay for the hotel we did stay at. DO NOT STAY HERE....GO ELSEWHERE!!!

Truly a leading hotel of the world. From the moment we arrived we knew this was a hotel on another level. Luisa at reception was absolutely brilliant and made us so welcome. What a lovely person. The location, the staff, facilities, were all fabulous .
