Excellent service from arrival to departure. The front office officer was very attentive and professional, she organized and met above my expectations. She was very meticulous and helpful.
Breakfast set up was impressive with good services too. Am very impressed with high hygienic standards from guest room to cafe for bfast though is one night transit. I will continue to support Sheraton when return to London.

The Hotel is perfectly situated for visiting Windsor Castle and a very short walk to Windsor Royal Theatre. My husband and I have stayed at the hotel numerous times. This time we stayed as we went to see a show at the theatre, Darker Shores, which was incredible. The staff at the hotel were polite and well presented and the breakfast more than satisfactory. The room was clean and comfortable and we slept well. It is our go to Hotel in Windsor and hope to stay again soon. Thank you to John Willcock for arranging the room for us and for leaving a handwritten welcome with complimentary chocolates and water. We had a wonderful stay!

We had a one night stay and have to say it was great! Stayed in a larger room on the top floor with views of the castle and Guild Hall, truly lovely. Plenty of room for two adults and two little boys. Very clean and comfortable. The shower was super as were the lovely smelling toiletries, really good quality. Excellent quality tea, coffee and Nespresso in the room (proper milk in the fridge!) We also had complimentary mini bar in the suite (soft drinks only) and because we booked direct 4 free drinks from the bar including alcohol-that was a lovely surprise! The service at check in and check out was prompt, professional and friendly. Breakfast was excellent, really good variety and delicious. The lovely lady (maybe Filipina-sorry I didn’t get her name) who was managing breakfast this morning at 7:30am was super friendly and an asset to the hotel, keep hold of her!! But have to say all staff we encountered were professional and friendly. Easy to park and £30 for safe, convenient over night parking isn’t bad for central Windsor. We are staying again in December and already looking forward to it! If you need to be in Windsor to see the sights and want them on your doorstep then you can’t go wrong with the lovely Castle Hotel.

Nice place, clean, neat and tidy and well-organised. Check in took me 5 minutes, and check out 30 seconds. Getting there from the airport is too complicated, but that's my only complaint. Great staff!

We visited twice in September 2022, using the hotel prior to and post travelling from Heathrow. The complex is set in beautiful grounds, a short drive from Windsor, a very short walk from the Thames and historical Runnymede and is brilliantly located for Heathrow. Legoland is no more than 10 mins away by car. Ample parking is available on site and the hotel is set over a range of buildings and locations, including the beautiful White House. We can’t credit the front of house team enough. They were exceptional, brilliantly professional, very friendly and exceptionally helpful, even when we arrived late at night following our arrival at LHR. The rooms are really well appointed, well decorated and the beds exceptionally comfortable. We had two great nights sleep there. It will be very difficult to find something you don’t like at breakfast. A very extensive range of well prepared and presented food and staff are on hand to help and tidy as required. We had dinner in the restaurant on our first night with a drink in the bar beforehand. The restaurant menu is extensive and there should be something for everyone with reasonable prices and good portion sizes. We loved the wine list, which again had a great range available. Service was really good, attentive and friendly. Genuinely can’t recommend enough. It’s almost the hidden jewel of hotels in and around Windsor and Heathrow. We will definitely be using it again.

2nd time we've stayed here the night before a flight and overall very satisfied. The rooms are clean and well equipped and the beds are large and very comfortable. Less than 10 minutes by Uber to T3 and very short walk away from a decent pub. Only complaint is that we parked outside the entrance briefly while we checked in and got lumped with a £5 parking fee which is not made clear by any signs. We tried to question this at the desk but the staff's first language was not English and they didn't understand our query.

Front Desk services required improvements- Location wise is great, just 1-minute walk away from London Heathrow T2; u can access directly through the same level of the Arrival Hall through the sheltered multi-storey car park. If u can come from London’s metro, walk across the bus lanes but do watch out the direction because limited signs available.
The front desk services sucks, they basically like a bunch of standing brochures repeating the sentences; without even care of what the guests said. They just wanna check in the guests at soonest possible speed.
The room and linens are clean, good for an overnight stay

Although I reviewed this hotel back in June, I thought I would give an update on our last, and definitely final, visit to this hotel. In July we stayed at the Sheraton for one night and parked our car at the hotel for 3 weeks. After midnight, when we had gone to bed, we heard a high powered car being revved and raced around the car park. Yes, someone was using the car park as a race track, using the cars parked there as the edges of the track! Someone else was taking pictures on their mobile phone. We contacted reception, who sent out a security guard and another member of staff. They, however, obviously knew the people racing the car and had a good laugh and joke with them before returning to the hotel, leaving the racers still revving their car and taking photos. I took photos too (attached). My wife was incensed by this total lack of interest from the hotel, and stormed down to reception. One of the people who had gone out to the car was there, plus the duty manager looking rather sheepish. They apologised with a grin on their faces and seemed to think that it was totally acceptable to them that this was going on as the people racing the car were members of staff!!! An incredible attitude. And it was obvious from their reaction that this was not a first time occurrence. Realising that we weren't going to get anywhere with the totally useless members of staff, and as by now the racers had left, we decided to raise the problems with a senior member of staff the following day. A couple of the managers we spoke to on the following day were disgusted at what had happened the previous night. Unfortunately they had already handed in their resignation as they weren't happy with the way the hotel is being run. So decide if you're happy to leave your car at a hotel that condones its staff using the car park as a race track and what damage they could do to your car. Remember, any damage to your car is not the responsibility of the hotel, even if it's their own staff who have caused the damage! Please read the other reviews regarding cars being damaged at this Hotel. I posted a review on the Marriott website and received a very defensive response from the front desk duty manager. She apologised for the fact that staff were racing cars in the car park but didn't seem to really take it seriously. This experience, combined with the non-working air conditioning in the bedrooms, the tvs in the bedrooms that often don't work, the gaffer-taped tatty old carpeting in the hallways, the scruffy pool area that is hardly ever swept clean, the downgraded quality of the Club Lounge and the withdrawal of the Club concierge service seems to be indicative of a company seeking to justify changing the branding of this hotel to one of Marriotts budget brands. However, they're still charging 4 star prices for a hotel that now struggles to give one star service. Shame on you Marriott for ruining a formerly very good quality hotel. Lastly, I expect to receive a very bland re

GGuest UserI know i will arrive London Heathrow late. So I tried to choose a hotel not far from airport to crash out a night before heading to London. I choose Holiday Inn Slough Windsor because I think instead of stay in airport hotel, at least I can go take a look at Windsor castle in the morning - there is no much different between 20 minutes Uber and 12 minutes to most of the airport hotel near Heathrow Airport. In fact I arrived 4 hours later than I should be - checking in after midnight...very smooth. As I am Platinum member of IHG member , I was pre-assigned executive room on 8th floor. Looking inside room, I have to say this room is better than my expectation of Holiday Inn: with Lavazza Coffee Machine, with slipper and all necessary amenities. In the morning I called a Uber to Windsor Castle just take a look. It cost between 7 - 9 pounds one way, about 8 minutes. Hotel to Slough Station, another 8 pound, about 6 minutes. Slough Station to Paddington, 10.8 pounds on GWR , 18 minutes. Overall the 2 hotel staffs I met, all very kind and friendly, everything is very smooth, everything works. It is by far better than a convenient hotel only , it is a very decent hotel and especially if you drive , there is ample car park, and good value to visit London and nearby area.
GGuest UserNear the airport, there is a direct bus.
It is a cozy small hotel, the room is newly renovated, very clean and elegant.
Free parking is available, and there are several restaurants in the town but not many choices.
GGuest UserWhat a lovely welcoming homely hotel. I went alone on a business trip and the owner was so welcoming friendly and helpful. The room was perfect size for just myself with everything I could need, a very comfy bed, ample workspace and a tv to relax with. Breakfast in the morning g was always served with a smile and was delicious every time. Very convenient area for food nearby with some really tasty options only walking distance. And a nice park and green area just five minutes walk away too. Also if you like fishing Farnham is very nearby 😉 I cannot thank everyone enough for making my stay so delightful especially the owner. Should I travel to Slough again for work or pleasure this is where I’d want to stay.
GGuest UserI booked this hotel because its close to Legoland and we just wanted somewhere to relax after an exhausting day out. This hotel exceeded our expectations, so much so that we extended our stay. The staff were lovely, rooms were clean and comfortable and the food was delicious. I recommend going for the Lego Buffet in the evening, its worth every penny. Everyone on reception was friendly and welcoming but a special mention must go to Melwyn, Food & Beverage Manager. Clearly a professional in his role and an asset to the hotel. He made sure we were looked after during all meals and always came over to say hello. He truly went above and beyond. Thank you all for a lovely stay.
GGuest UserThis was a great hotel, we used it for an overnight stay after a long-haul flight. Room was good, beds OK and generally a well-appointed room. Only issue was that there was only two sachets of decaffeinated coffee in the room, I asked at reception for more ad was told it would be sent up. Two hours later it had not arrived and i had to ring ”housekeeping ” to get it delivered. It did eventually arrive. Why do hotels not put out enough decaffeinated coffee sachets, it is our experience that we always have to ask for more!!!
WWaa YumThere is plenty of space in the living room and rooms. The whole environment is very clean. The bathtub is very big and my daughter loves it very much. Will definitely come back in the future.
GGuest UserWhat a shocking experience! We had a late flight in from Heathrow and so this room was booked on our behalf. The room itself seems passable on arrival but then the drama unfolded. The room was hot yet if one opened a window the noise emanating from outside was unbearable. Throughout the night an electric noise (washing machine?) emanated through the room continuously. The smell was overpowering - the fridge provided had not been opened or plugged in for ages. Of the 4 plugpoints in the room one had been boarded up, the second had a television and kettle plugged in, the third was loose in the wall and the switch didn't work rendering one in working order. The bathroom was tiny as well as dirty, the door couldn't close properly as the door frame was broken. The shower had no drain cover and a smell was emanating from there. The toilet had no flusher, we had to insert our fingers into the hole to press a pin!The restaurant was closing as we arrived and no assistance was provided in terms of where we could get a late night meal. All in all a dreadful experience, one which will not happen again. Sleeping at the airport would have been more preferable.
GGuest UserThe room was a good size, clean and airy, I felt very welcome and the manager explained everything well, I especially enjoyed the coffee in my room and it was enough to make my stay more enjoyable as I am a big coffee fan, would recommend this hotel very much !!!
