Evergreen Bed & Breakfast

We spent a lovely weekend at this terrific place. Jen and Brian were wonderful hosts and made us feel welcome and valued. Our room was very comfortable and the small terrace attached to the room made for a nice late, relaxing pause before bedtime. The breakfasts were amazing! Our hosts are experts at overfeeding you with delicious, multi-course selections. The house is very old (and a little creaky) with wide floorboards and nice common spaces. We were visiting the area with particular interest in Hogpen Hill Farm sculpture garden, a short drive away. We highly recommend visiting the farm, with a delightful stay at Evergreen B and B.

Evergreen B & B exceeded our expectations with all the little extras that the innkeepers Brian and Jennifer provided. The Tavern was a wonderful surprise oasis to our trip. It provided a casual place to relax, play games and socialize with friends. The grounds were beautiful with a gazebo and frog pond. The pool was open and a nice place to cool off. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful! It was more like a brunch with several courses. The following were the breakfast foods we experienced on our two day stay: county eggs Benedict, overnight oats, lemon blueberry muffins, donut cake, quiche, million dollar bacon, loaded potatoes and a tray of fresh fruit. My mouth is watering just thinking of the food! Our room (John Mosley) was large and comfortable with a claw tub bath. The history of the house is so interesting and the innkeepers share the many stories of different parts of the house. But the best part of the visit was the kind and genuine hospitality of the hosts Brian, Jennifer and their adorable pet lab Penny.
