2-Star Hotels in Kaohsiung

1. Location (5 stars): Located near Kaohsiung Dome and Ruifeng Night Market, it is a lively area, and it is convenient to eat or go shopping. 2. Price (3 stars): The price of a double room during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday is more than 4,500. In terms of CP value, I think it is much more expensive. 3. Service (5 stars): The service staff is very kind and patient, and will help deal with any response problems. 4. Cleanliness (3 stars): There are cockroaches on the floor of the room, and there are flying insects that don't know what they are, not small. 5. Parking space (3 stars): There are only two free positions in front of the hotel entrance. It is first come first stop, but it is not a parking grid. For people who love cars, tourists will inevitably be afraid of cockroaches when entering and leaving; Other parking spaces have to go nearby to park in private parking at their own expense, about 300 a night (115 June price).

While the room is small, it's filled with fantastic facilities. On level 6, there is a common area where you can eat fruits, instant noodles, coffee, tea, sodas for free. There is a kitchen for you to cook your own food if you so desired and it comes with bread and butter, peanut butter and all kinds of spread and there is also oven, toaster etc. There is a free laundry room next to it and you can even dry your clothes indoor. Just across the street is the famous Liuhe night market where you can get your snacks and have a meal. MRT is just next to the hotel. So this place ticks all the boxes for me. 

The location is super convenient, with a bar and restaurant right downstairs for a relaxing drink. The room is spacious and beautifully decorated, giving an overall comfortable vibe. The only minor issue is that the bed frame is a bit old, and if you move too much, it creaks. So, if your partner is a light sleeper, you might want to keep that in mind! The room comes with tea bags and capsule coffee, and there's a water dispenser on the R floor, which is a great bonus. Towels are provided, but remember to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste!

The location is excellent, right next to the famous duck rice restaurant ”Ya Rou Zhen” downstairs. It's within walking distance of MRT stations like Pier-2 and Pier-2. The pre-trip communication, instructions for common areas, and room information were very clear. The decor and facilities are also of high quality and thoughtfully designed. Since I stayed two nights, they even sent a message on the second day to inquire if I had any problems after check-in. You can really feel their attentiveness. Highly recommended!

The accommodation is decent, but there aren't many dining options nearby. If you don't have high expectations and just want a place to sleep for the night, it's a reasonably affordable choice.

Our family stayed here. The cute wallpaper was a big hit with the kids, who treated the room like their own playground. The location is excellent, being close to the station, which would be very convenient for longer stays. There are also plenty of shopping malls and laundromats nearby. The only minor downside was that the building's entrance was a bit difficult to find during check-in, but despite that, we'd love to stay again.

The location is great for transit, eating and shopping. The rooms are ample, nicely decorated, felt new and clean. Breakfast is good and there are complimentary steamed buns, juices, coffee, teas and ice cream available at any hour. Staff are friendly. They speak little or no English, but that’s not a problem with translation apps. Only issues are weak wifi that only worked on the ground floor and not consistently, and the fact that cigarette smoke sometimes travels either through the ventilation system or because the doors don’t close tightly. Sound also travels but guests were discreet so that was not an issue. The hotel isn’t suited for anyone with mobility issues as there is a step to the front door, another to reception and three more to the elevator. No ramps. There is even a step from the bedroom to the bathroom. Very odd. Overall a very good stay. 

The receptionist was super kind and let us check in early. It was clean and good location. The walls are thin though. But overall good for the price. Thank you

I was looking for a budget friendly hotel just for a day and this one pops up with high Trip rating, so i booked. The check-in was smooth. They also have parking space which was great. We booked a double bed room for two people. At first the room looks decent, the bathroom was well cleaned and maintained but later we found the bed headrest was very dirty with old stains, the furnitures are also got stains which felt creepy. The linens were clean but had a peculiar smell. The service attitude is questionable. I booked the room a month in advance, but they didn't mention whether breakfast was included. I had to call the front desk to ask, but they hung up before I could finish speaking. I booked two rooms that day, but the other room had a black floor, smelled of smoke, and the sofa was broken. Although the location is very good, the service is poor. I hope they can improve.
