"Our room is on the 10th floor and it is big. Air Conditioner is working well, room is cool.  Laundry on the 7th floor, very convenient.  Bathroom is clean. Only draw back is when taking shower, the water flows out from the inside edge of the tub and the back wall edge and onto the floor, making the floor super wet.  "

"The stay was wonderful! It was my first time travelling solo, and I booked a single room. I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious it was. There was plenty of room to move around comfortably, and the bathroom was also very large. One thing to note is that the air conditioning turns on automatically when you’re in the room and cannot be switched off manually. Also, be careful when entering the bathroom, as the floor is slightly elevated compared to the main room, which can be easy to miss at first. (the bathroom floor and room floor is not the same height). Another thing to keep in mind is that the hotel reception is located on the 5th floor. Upon arrival, you need to take a short flight of stairs to reach the area where the elevator is located before taking the lift up to reception. This may be less convenient for elderly guests or those with mobility issues, especially if they are travelling with heavy luggage. Overall, I had a very comfortable stay and would happily recommend this hotel to solo traveller and couple/friends travellers😍👍"

"Great location, able to take MRT (redline) directly from Kaohsiung airport to Kaohsiung Main Station , then just walk across the street, hotel is right there. Hotel room is reasonable size, nicely setup. Since it's close to MRT station, you can get to anywhere easily. Great food choices including street food is just within walking distance. We left Kaohsiung to Taipei by high speed train, it's also very easy to get to Zuo-ying Station from hotel. Just take TRA local train (station is same as the MRT station) to New Zuo-Ying Station and transfer to the high speed train. It was a bit confusing in the beginning but if you ask anyone at the station, they are always happy to answer you. People are extremely friendly"

"If you're still undecided on where to stay in Kaohsiung, I highly recommend this hotel! I meticulously chose this one after extensive searching on Trip. While my budget doesn't quite stretch to a five-star hotel, for a four-star option, I believe this place offers exceptional value for money. The afternoon tea and breakfast provided by the hotel were both very generous. Although there are plenty of dining options nearby, the hotel's meals alone were so satisfying that I couldn't possibly eat anything else. The overall environment is incredibly comfortable. The entire hotel, from the lobby to the rooms, had a pleasant fragrance, making you feel relaxed the moment you step in. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making for a truly excellent stay. Furthermore, the hotel's location near Kaohsiung Station is incredibly convenient. It's within walking distance, making it easy to access by train, High-Speed Rail, or MRT. Usually, when I stay at a hotel, I don't necessarily need a lot of high-end facilities. For us, a hotel that's clean, comfortable, offers great service, and is reasonably priced is actually the perfect choice. The hotel's name is Jo Ho. I initially thought it meant ”very good” (很好), but after looking it up, it seems to carry the meaning of ”blessing,” which is a fun play on words. Currently, the hotel doesn't seem to be a chain. I hope such a thoughtful and comfortable hotel can continue to operate steadily and improve even further in the future!"

"It’s a four star hotel that feels like some five star hotels do. It’s a bit pricey but what your get in return is excellent service (valets opening doors for you, everyone saying hello and asking if you need anything), cosy rooms (ours had a bathtub and Japanese toilet), free snacks, coffee and beer at the lounge, alright cleanliness (mostly fine but we found unwanted items of unknown origin and purpose in the room) and even free self-service laundry."

"The room is clean and near to train station.. but the room is not soundproof .. we heard clearly talking in our next door . But its ok because after 9pm they already leave . Over all our staying is very well😆"

"Decent stay. Impressed by the staff. I emailed them on breakfast arrangement , they dropped me an email to remind me before my journey. Asked me upon my arrival again. Spacious room , good location, clean room. Breakfast is okay with limited selection. The restaurant turns to be a lounge with free drinks after breakfast time. Can freely bring takeaway to eat there."

"The hotel location is unbeatable - it is located right beside the Love River with beautiful and relax view. There is a 7-11 is right next to the hotel which makes my stay easier. I enjoy the hotel overall, however there is an odd smell when I stepped right into the lobby and the smell remained constantly during my entire stay. Luckily the room smells fresh. I like the hotel and highly recommend to others and will come back if I visit KH again."
