Mmtq14Amazing hotel. Didn’t know it was connected to Taishan Grand Hotel. Located right next to the Daimiao Temple, the hotel is at an amazing location if you want to take the pilgrimage route of starting the ascent to Mount Tai / Taishan. Took me about 4 hours to go from the temple (which is right next to the hotel) to the summit of Taishan.
Absolutely amazingly kind and generous and helpful staff (especially if you’re a foreigner!). Took their sweet time to explain me things and help me out with my blunders. Would absolutely stay here again and HIGHLY RECOMMEND EVERYONE considering to book it without thinking twice!!

NNestor MichaelI chose this hotel for the proximity to Tai Shan because I wanted to do hiking there for a few days. It is very close to the Hongmen entrance, but it is on a small residential hilly street and can be hard to find, especially at night. The owner, however, provides great pickup service if one is lost near the hotel, so he helped me out a couple of times when I couldn’t find the hotel but was very close to it. He does not speak English but is very good with the translation app. They have one washing machine for laundry that they offer for free along with the detergent, and provide hangers to dry the clothes on a rooftop line, which worked well for me because it was very sunny that day.

GGuest UserLuck is super good, I booked the room when I met the peony flower, and I smelled the fragrance of flowers as soon as I entered the small courtyard. The design display of the small bridge and green plants in the yard is very comfortable; the service is very good, the front desk lady is very friendly and kind; Although the breakfast is not rich, it tastes very good. It is all based on breakfast to support my energy of walking up and down the mountain for 7 hours. The hotel environment is very quiet. The Red Gate mountaineering is also very close. It takes 18 minutes to get to the Red Gate ticket gate. It is equivalent to eating breakfast. Warm up; The comprehensive experience is super satisfied, I recommend everyone to come to the small courtyard in mid-April, it is really full of flowers in the garden ~

GGuest UserGreat location! After hiking Mount Tai, I got to the hotel in a flash. There are plenty of food options nearby, so I had a satisfying meal. The water temperature in the hotel was perfect for a nice, refreshing shower. The hotel was quiet, and I slept soundly until morning. It's also very close to the high-speed train station, just a few minutes walk to get inside. What a wonderful trip!

GGuest UserI brought my parents to visit Mount Tai, and for convenience during the climb, I specifically chose the Ji Hotel, which is very close to the entrance of Tianwaicun. Firstly, it's only about a 7-minute walk to the entrance. Secondly, the Ji Hotel certainly lived up to expectations; the rooms were clean and hygienic, the environment was tidy, the facilities were complete, the service was warm and welcoming, and they even provided free hiking poles and warm water. Thumbs up! Trustworthy and highly recommended.

GGuest UserThe most impressive thing is the water. I don't know if it's my own psychological suggestion, but I feel that the water here is much softer than that in Beijing, and it's super comfortable to wash your face and drink water; the second is the home-cooked food. It was too late to climb Mount Tai, and after returning, there was a long queue for the famous fried chicken in the city. I was so hungry that I ordered it in the B&B. The eggplant and tofu soup had a very ”mother's taste” (the fried chicken guy said it was ”Tai'an fried chicken” not Tai'an fried chicken hahahahaha), anyway, I was unexpectedly very satisfied with the meal.
Finally, I strongly recommend the attic room. There is an attic, and it is very comfortable to blow the wind when it's warm in spring and summer.
Ps. Objectively speaking, the attic room is not very spacious, but it has everything. Maybe it should be considered a public area with the terrace (laugh)

EemilysdreamsTo be honest, my initial reason for booking was to make my Mount Tai trip less rushed. I was also a bit worried that the courtyard layout might be noisy. However, all the guests that night were very quiet, and the guesthouse staff spoke softly. Plus, the guesthouse's location is truly unique, offering a rare sense of peace and comfort. It was lovely! 😌

GGuest UserBetter than expected! The hot water was good, and it was pretty quiet until midnight. There's a restaurant, and it's less than a 30-minute walk to Yuhuangding. Once you reach Nantianmen, you can check in, rest up, and then continue your journey, which makes it much less tiring. It's also very close for watching the sunrise in the morning. After sunrise, you can come back to the hotel for breakfast and then rest in your room for a bit before leisurely heading down the mountain. I saw so many people who hiked overnight; they looked rushed and exhausted, with many just lying down on the spot to sleep. One girl was even sleeping on the steps outside a restaurant – it was heartbreaking to see. So, if you don't have the stamina, don't push yourself too hard. Your health is important. Just my personal opinion.

TTuolingdewaiguaThis hotel definitely deserves five stars! Given that it's on the summit of Mount Tai, the accommodations are exceptional – you can't compare them to hotels at the base of the mountain. It's also vastly superior to the guesthouse I stayed at on the peak 20 years ago. Being able to take a hot shower was a huge relief after the climb. Although there were strong winds due to extreme weather at the summit, the room windows were sealed so well that I only heard the wind, but didn't feel any drafts inside. A big thank you to the front desk staff for upgrading my room. From the room, I could see the twinkling lights of Tai'an, which was beautiful. The room was clean, and the bedding was very comfortable. I would choose this place again if I have the chance to climb Mount Tai in the future.
