The location is perfect and the room was clean. The amenities are the best. They had complementary water bottles (which seems like a luxury in many hotels these days), ear plugs, a small fridge and coffee pods. Well thought out and the bed was nice to sleep.
Located next to a railway station, the hotel offers basic amenities for your stay. The room was cleaned but the carpet in the lift area and the corridor gave a stinky smell. Breakfast was good many vegetarian options as well.
Lovely friendly staff was made to feel welcome as soon as we walked in very nice and clean room, bed very comfy would definitely stay again and the breakfast was great 👍
The soundproofing is very poor. When the door next door is shut loudly, the wall by my bed actually shakes. It has startled me awake several times.
The ventilation system is also inadequate. Cigarette smoke from other rooms drifts into my bathroom and bedroom, which made it impossible for me to sleep all night. Opening the window did not help.
There was dust on the bedsheets, and there were biscuit crumbs on the chair.
The checking in and out process was simple with no problems. There are ongoing renovations and improvements. The restaurant was closed however delivery options and nearby eateries and COOP mini market close by. Easy access to city center by bus or a 30 minute walk along the main road through the Victoria park near the University campus. It has a convenient location with an affordable price with free parking available.
