"We arrived to check in quite late in the evening but were met with a very warm and efficient welcome. Friendly staff, great rooms with comfortable beds and fresh decor throughout the whole building.
Delicious well cooked and presented breakfast with freshly prepared hot food, many cereal and fruit options, fresh coffee, tea and juices.
Highly recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟"
"A pretty well situated hotel, although next to the hospital so ambulances running all night if you are a light sleeper. Otherwise it is a short walk to everything.
The staff were awesome, super polite and accommodating. The rooms were well thought out with in built desks in the back of headboards and a small fridge for personal use. The thoughtful touches were fantastic and the bathroom products were top tier.
There were two complimentary cans of water in the fridge, hot chocolate sachets and tea and coffee in the room.
The shower was amazing with a waterfall feature and detachable shower head too."
"I had issues with the date so wasn't able to travel during the said booked time. I would like to give a special thanks to the lady I spoke to on phone who was really considerate and listened to me (I called several times) and arranged another day convenient for me. The room was nice but the walls were very thin due to which when people were playing music we could hear it in ours till 2am in the morning. Although they quickly responded when complained but the walls should be thicker so that people can enjoy their stay when they paid so much in a good hotel!"
"The room is not big, compact and clean. You need to swipe your card to enter the elevator. The breakfast is simple and the internet is convenient. It can also meet basic needs. I stayed for one night."
"My stay at the Marriott Leicester was genuinely enjoyable and exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming and attentive, making check-in smooth and stress-free. The room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I especially liked the calm atmosphere—it felt like a proper break. The location was also ideal, close to Fosse Park and the motorway, but still peaceful. Overall, the Marriott Leicester felt like a perfect mix of comfort and class."
"The location is fantastic! 10 minute walking distance to the theatres and shopping areas.
The facade is clean and appealing and on entering the building, the bar/restaurant area really provides a wow factor.
I had a double room which were two single beds pushed together, so there was no room to stretch out.
The kitchenette doesn't come with washing up liquid or a sponge, so I was a little confused as to how I was supposed to clean up.
The toilet was lovely, but having lifted the toilet seat, the toilet bowl was filled with yellow liquid. Easily solved with flushing.
The shower was glorious I didn't want to get out.
The rooms are not sound proofed so if you are a light sleeper like me, make sure you take your ear plugs.
On the whole I paid £80 for the room on Trip, other sites were charging £140 so I do think I got a good deal. I paid for what I got."
"I’d stay there again because the bed was larger and more comfortable than the hotel I usually stay at on my annual trip to see family. Room was clean. The downsides: We arrived at around 11:30 and they wouldn’t check us in until after 12, I get that this is policy but other hotels in the city are flexible and we’d been travelling 20 hours. Also the air con in the room didn’t work and it was very hot for the UK so had a bit of trouble sleeping. They said they’d take a look and gave us a fan because I guess they couldn’t do anything but it didn’t quite cut it…"
"Premier Inn City Centre is just next to the train station and it’s very convenient. Decent room size and the couch is good where you could seat on and enjoy the view of the Leicester City Centre. The room is clean and bed is comfortable. Hot and continental breakfast options just pay when you walkin. I will definitely return to Premier Inn for my next trip to Leicester. Highly recommend this hotel to friends. "
"Loved this hotel was so reasonably priced was really pleasantly surprised beautiful clean room hot water was piping so was able to have lovely bath .. went on a freezing cold evening in feb but the heating was on the whole time was very hot and cozy .. lovely hotel would definitely recommend.. breakfast and all the staff excellent"
"Service was well above average for the establishment. Breakfast was good, considering it was included in the price. No real amenities, except a bar. Unfortunately we went on one of the hottest days of the year and the air con was broken. But they put a fan in the room. Room was spacious, clean and tidy. All facilities in the room were spotless. Bed was comfortable. The sofa bed was hard and not pleasant as a bed."

Very Good
SSylJThe location is perfect and the room was clean. The amenities are the best. They had complementary water bottles (which seems like a luxury in many hotels these days), ear plugs, a small fridge and coffee pods. Well thought out and the bed was nice to sleep.
TthomasThe checking in and out process was simple with no problems. There are ongoing renovations and improvements. The restaurant was closed however delivery options and nearby eateries and COOP mini market close by. Easy access to city center by bus or a 30 minute walk along the main road through the Victoria park near the University campus. It has a convenient location with an affordable price with free parking available.
