Great
GGuest UserGreat location not far from railway station and De Montford Hall where we saw a show. Very polite friendly professional staff. Loved the huge room and furniture. Bottles water provided. No noise at all could be heard. Excellent tasty breakfast. All in all would most definitely stay here again.
GGuest UserBrilliant service. Infact on this app i paid for 2 adults breakfast at time of booking but when i got to the hotel and checked in they confirmed that i actually paid for 4 adults!!! Other than that hotel room superb, clean and quite spacious. Would book again. Full retail park across the road.
GGuest UserGreat location 5 minutes walk from train station and city centre. One of very few places that allows pets to stay. There is an extra £10 charge per night for but well worth it if you need to have your pet with you. Rooms are clean and functional. Well designed bathroom space with a good sized shower cubicle. There’s also a good heating/cooling system that works great.
GGuest UserThe location is fantastic! 10 minute walking distance to the theatres and shopping areas.
The facade is clean and appealing and on entering the building, the bar/restaurant area really provides a wow factor.
I had a double room which were two single beds pushed together, so there was no room to stretch out.
The kitchenette doesn't come with washing up liquid or a sponge, so I was a little confused as to how I was supposed to clean up.
The toilet was lovely, but having lifted the toilet seat, the toilet bowl was filled with yellow liquid. Easily solved with flushing.
The shower was glorious I didn't want to get out.
The rooms are not sound proofed so if you are a light sleeper like me, make sure you take your ear plugs.
On the whole I paid £80 for the room on Trip, other sites were charging £140 so I do think I got a good deal. I paid for what I got.
TTessCI used to like this Premier Inn as I was quite happy with my previous stay.
However this time we were allocated with a low floor and not renovated room. When I requested for room change, I was requested to wait at the lobby till 3:30pm whilst the check-in time printed in the hotel confirmation was 2pm.
During the stay there was no room cleaning, and no replenishment of toiletries which was made our stay not comfy.
Pictures #1 and 2 are room not renovated and pictures #3 and 4 the refurbished one.
Ssha_chThe lady at the reception was amazing, had power issues in the first allotted room, in a quick time frame maintenance guy reached and they also complemented me with breakfast. Quick and efficient management!
TTahera NI had to wait a little at the beginning as for some reason my booking wasn’t showing on their system. However I was given an upgraded room due to this. The first room smelt of cannabis and the edge of the bed metal piece was sticking out with shower gel half empty. Therefore I was given another room which was in excellent condition, it was a lot bigger with a massive TV screen. This hotel’s bathroom had a hair dryer and a hair straightener too. They also had an ironing board. The person at the reception was very friendly, smiled no matter what and even offered tea whilst I was waiting. Some of the rooms had good views example you could see the Leicester wheel.
GGuest UserThe soundproofing is very poor. When the door next door is shut loudly, the wall by my bed actually shakes. It has startled me awake several times.
The ventilation system is also inadequate. Cigarette smoke from other rooms drifts into my bathroom and bedroom, which made it impossible for me to sleep all night. Opening the window did not help.
There was dust on the bedsheets, and there were biscuit crumbs on the chair.
