Amazing
AAnonymous UserClass place. Open area and close to the centre. Abit of a dark alleyway at nighttime. Not the most insane social place at all(maybe off season idk). Comfortable hammocks. Only downside is that they turn off AC during the day (so when you check into your room for the first time it’s still warm) and no cold water dispenser!
AAnonymous UserI had a pleasant stay at West Coast Beach House in Moalboal, Cebu. The room was simple and comfortable enough during the stay. The team member were very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. One thing to note is that it’s best to bring your own toilet amenities. Overall, it’s a nice, straightforward place to stay if you’re looking for something basic with warm and helpful service.
KK.G.M.We loved staying in this location. Our room was right on the water, giving some breathtaking views morning and night. Lots of storage space and big bathroom. The hotel has a great diving center that also rents all kinds of snorkeling equipment too until later hours. Pool was clean and there was even a tipsy bar within it.
Our only issue was very low water pressure in the shower which made washing long hair ia bit challenging.
While you are away from the “mail” street in town, walk us about 8 min and there are few other hotels/ restaurants and activity companies located right next to hotel entrance
AAnonymous UserI had a pleasant stay at this hostel and really enjoyed the overall experience. The staff were friendly and the service was great, which made me feel welcome. The Wi-Fi connection was excellent — fast and reliable, perfect if you need to work during your stay.
That said, there’s a little room for improvement in terms of cleanliness and amenities. When I first entered the room, there was a bit of a fishy smell that could be addressed to make the stay even more comfortable.
Overall, I’d recommend this place, especially for those who need good internet and friendly service, and I believe with a few improvements it could be even better.
GGuest UserThe air conditioning worked well, and the hot water pressure in the shower was excellent. They also offered bike rentals (for an additional fee) and kindly showed us how to use them.
The staff were always smiling and helpful.
The road opposite the beach is a little ways from the main road, and it can be dark and unsafe to walk alone. We recommend accessing the beach side at night.
RRolandklsThe location is a little remote, but unfortunately next to a chicken farm. More or less all day, especially in the morning, there is a very noisy chicken alarm.
Otherwise, it is a little older hotel, but is relatively good for the Filipino conditions price-performance. However, there are even cheap, better hotels for the same price and even cheap.
AAlexander KazanWe stayed for 1 night. Good location in the center, clean rooms. But the hotel is located next to bars and restaurants, so you can only fall asleep after 11. You can only sleep with earplugs, which the hotel wisely provides. If you plan to party all night, then this is an ideal hotel. If you want to rest after the road, then no.
GGuest UserMy boyfriend and I spent one week in Kasai village. It’s already been 7 months since we are back home but the hotel is worth receiving the review even after that amount of time. After a loving welcome on our first evening we decided to sign up for an open water diving course, which turned out to be the best decision. Since it was the beginning of the season the hotel was still quite empty and the two of us enjoyed a private course. Our diving instructor Tata was very experienced and highly skilled which made us feel safe at all times during the course. He made the theoretical lessons really interesting which made us eager to learn everything for our final test - which we in the end passed with good results ;) On our last day we wanted to show off our diving skills and booked a trip to see the whale sharks. After asking, Tata even agreed to be our private guide for the day! Thanks for that! We want to highlight especially the lovely restaurant-team. The staff was incredibly friendly and always asked us about our day without being annoying at any time. Our special thanks goes to Maccoy and Ranessa (I apologise for the bad spelling 😋) which almost made us feel part of the family. The resort itself is I credibly beautiful, right by the sea and a big outdoor pool area. Apart from that we enjoyed delicious local meals in the hotel restaurant. We highly recommend Kasai village for divers, wanting-to-be-divers but also for travellers that just want to enjoy the beauty of Cebu Island. Thanks to the whole team for a great experience that we will keep in mind for a long time!
GGuest UserGood location, clean rooms, friendly staff, fully equipped shared kitchen, eating and chilling areas. Disadvantages: Noisy AC, even more noisy roosters which do not stop during whole night as this place is located in local community. If you are a good sleeper, this place is an excellent bargain. If you are light sleeper, stay away.
