Great
GGuest UserFirst off, there were a few hairs on the bedding. So for cleanliness, maybe a 2.5? Rounded up to 3 points. No hairdryer and the heater wasn't working... It was so cold at night that I had to boil water in the kettle and pour it on the floor to keep warm while I slept... So for facilities, also a 2.5.

GGuest UserExcellent place and great people I was visiting Cairo for several days to refresh old memories because I have lived in Zamalek 50 years ago. I looked for the hotel just somewhere in the heart of Northern part of Zamalek, and location at Taha Hussein street was the best possible option, so I have chosen The President hotel. I had just general expectations as from regular three star hotel, but staff and hotel amenities have exceeded my humble expectations far beyond! The room was very clean and spacious, slippers, toothbrush, shower supplies, teapot, tea, coffee bags, minibar - everything was very nice and provided. Starting from security at entrance and reception (I was put to the level where restaurant is for my convenience), everyone was very nice and polite to me. Housekeeping by Mohammed Eldeep was perfect. Service at breakfast was outstanding (and at dinner too), and chef Mitu had cooked the most delicious food with personal attention and kindness. And tour service provided by manager Dahy was beyond perfection - utmost and ultimately outstanding and fabulous. I was taking complex trips around the city and transfer to the airport. With the greatest scrutinous attention to details from Dahy I got excellent service and very professional drivers so my trips were exceptionally planned and fulfilled in time. To wrap up, I strongly recommend the President hotel due to mostly positive and splendid emotions I have received there during my 3-nights stay. Area has great infrastructure once you need 24/7 groceries, pharmacy or ATM. Don't recommend to drive in Zamalek, better take cab or walk.

SShuliThe staff were friendly and the room was very spacious and clean. However, the next day, the cleaning staff tried to open the door even though I hadn't checked out yet. I wish they would check if I had checked out before coming. The elevators, corridors, and doors to the room were a maze.

GGuest UserI must admit I hesitated when booking this hotel for my father and me: it is fairly new and there were still only a few reviews online. We were pleasantly surprised by the kindness of the staff and the quality of the accommodation. Our room 1204 was spacious, nicely decorated, and spotless. The bedding was very comfortable, and the bathroom was fully functional. The hotel is ideally located in the El Hussein and Al-Azhar area, just a few meters from Khan el-Khalili and Al-Muizz Street (a true open-air museum). In addition, within a 15–20 minute Uber ride, you can easily reach many other points of interest. And even though the neighborhood is very lively, El Rashedy Hotel is tucked away in a small side street, away from the noise. We had initially planned to stay from November 17 to 22 and then finish our trip at another hotel in Zamalek, but we loved this place so much that we extended our stay until November 26. A big thank you to the entire team—reception, management, and housekeeping—for their warm welcome, availability, and valuable advice.

JJamie ThooWe checked in very late, around 2:00am, as we arrived back late from Hurghada. We only managed to sleep for about 3 hours before heading out again for our desert tour, but even in such a short stay, the hospitality really stood out. Thank you so much to the hotel for kindly helping us store our luggage, this small help made a big difference to our travel plans. A very special thank you to Hazim. They were extremely helpful and genuinely kind. We had trouble booking an Uber, as drivers kept asking for extra money and rejecting foreign calls. In the end, Kasim patiently helped us book a car, guided us to the driver, and made sure everything was settled properly. Their kindness and willingness to help, even in the early hours of the morning, truly meant a lot to us. This is the kind of service that travelers will always remember. Highly appreciated and thank you again 🙏

PPetr AbramovSurprisingly, my apartments were with two bedrooms and a living room that I didn't expect. Good surprise. All clean, staff friendly, there are laundry services. I'll come back again when I'm in Cairo again. Recommendation for owner: Add to the fans, batteries to all the remotes and more towels.

XXINLAN1. The location is good, within walking distance to the Egyptian Museum, subway, and kazaz, which is a 1.3km walk from gobus tahir station, which is very downtown. 2. The hotel has an elevator, which is very rare. I have stayed in a nearby hotel which is also located in an old house. There is no elevator and I need to carry my luggage. The elevator is not big enough to accommodate about 4 people (without luggage), but it is much better than climbing stairs by yourself. 3. There is one triple room and one double room. The triple room is quite spacious and the standard room is not large enough. 4. There is no hot water kettle or hair dryer in the room, you can ask for it at the front desk, but the number of these two items in the entire hotel is limited, so I waited for a long time... 5. It’s more cost-effective to pay in US dollars than in Egyptian pounds. The exchange rate for paying Egyptian pounds is not so good. 6. Breakfast starts at 8:00. If you want to go to the Black and White Desert, the driver usually picks up at 7:30. If you don’t have time to eat breakfast, you can go to the rooftop restaurant to pack some (the restaurant is still preparing breakfast at 7:30, and the things that can be packed are limited. Eggs, bread, flatbread, jam, that’s all)

SsuutsThis was the No. 1 accommodation I stayed at during my solo trip! First of all, it was very clean, the toilet and shower were separate, and it had hot water! The staff member was a kind and adorable old man! I was so happy I was able to relax! If I'm staying in Cairo again, I'll definitely stay here! It was so comfortable that I even asked to stay multiple nights! The location was great, and I found it pretty quickly! It's on the 6th floor! I'm afraid of elevators, which are a common Egyptian thing, so I used the stairs!

WWilleonShould improve the entrance. Quite difficult to locate. When I found the entrance, there were some wild dogs gathering in front of the entrance. Staff should be in uniform. Look more professional. I did not feel some welcoming at the reception. But they still allow me for early check in. Appreciated that. Not a good impression. Room seems quite new. But remember to bring your owe toothpaste and toothbrush. Its seem common in Egypt that all the accommodations doesn’t provide with them.
