"Our stay at The Nile Ritz-Carlton, Cairo was nothing short of unforgettable — an experience that felt less like checking into a hotel and more like stepping into a world of genuine care and effortless luxury. From the very first moment, the reception staff welcomed us with warmth and grace, guiding us not just through the check-in process, but through the very heart of Cairo itself. Their thoughtful recommendations and attentive guidance turned our trip into something so much more than a vacation — they made it feel like a homecoming in a city we had just met. The rooms were immaculate, the amenities refined, and the service nothing less than flawless. Every corner of the property seemed to carry with it a sense of elegance, yet what truly elevated our stay was the spirit of the people working there. Breakfast each morning was a celebration. The food was fresh, abundant, and delicious, but it was the serving staff who transformed it into something memorable. With kindness in every gesture and attentiveness in every moment, they anticipated our needs before we could even ask. The way they greeted us with smiles, remembered our preferences, and treated us with genuine care turned a simple meal into a highlight of our day. The Nile Ritz-Carlton is not just a hotel — it is an orchestra of hospitality, with every member of staff playing their part to perfection. To the reception team who guided us, and the breakfast staff who brightened our mornings, thank you for showing us what true hospitality means. This is more than a place to stay; it is an experience that lingers long after you’ve left, and one we can’t wait to return to."

"The room decor and facilities were quite new, and the service was excellent. The fresh juice was delicious! However, the bathroom's soundproofing isn't great; it seems to be right next to the adjacent room's bathroom. On the second night, after lying down, the next room suddenly started playing what sounded like Arabic or Indian music continuously in their bathroom. I could hear it clearly while in bed and couldn't sleep at all. After contacting the housekeeper, they were quite effective in negotiating with the neighbors to stop playing the 'divine music' publicly."

"If you ever get the privilege to stay at the four seasons DO IT! THEY ARE NOTHING SHORT OF AMAZING! I haven't checked in to my hotel because I was in luxor all day and I messaged them through their app to see about room service being there before I make it in. They delivered my meal already as I said it was okay knowing time wise I would be in late and assume that service ends at some point of the evening. I've only had lunch today I haven't been in a bed in the last 48hours, they set ny room up and delivered my food with out me checking in! Theyer amazing they set my spa time for tomorrow evening as well. They also able to offer massage in your room, their guest services is top notch. It's pricey but they absolutely take care if you! I've been to the one in Maui as well, absolutely not disappointed!"

"Absolutely, absolutely, absolutely wonderful! Lush greenery right beneath the pyramids—the ambiance, service, security, dining, gym, room service... everything was excellent. The hotel can arrange transportation to the pyramids, and after breakfast, you walk straight into a direct view of the Great Pyramid of Giza, going against the flow of the crowds entering from the main gate. This was fantastic for the hot weather! The hotel's rich history goes without saying; the palace where the Cairo Conference was held is currently undergoing renovations, but you can see the exterior. The staff are highly professional, incredibly warm, and attentive when answering questions. We even stumbled upon a beautiful wedding! Everything was just superb! The pyramids are definitely worth seeing, but the Marriott Mena House, with its pyramid views, is even more worth the visit."

"The room was a bit small, and there was a strange smell coming from one side of the bed, though I couldn't pinpoint the source. The shower knob was incredibly stiff; I had to use all my strength just to turn it on. The worst part was check-in. After a 10-hour flight, I arrived at the hotel around 1 PM, only to be told the room wasn't ready and I'd have to wait 45 minutes. So I waited. An hour later, I checked again, and it still wasn't ready. Another 30 minutes went by, and when I inquired again, I was told it still wasn't ready. Meanwhile, other guests were checking in at the front desk, and none of them seemed to be waiting. It wasn't until past 3 PM, on my fourth attempt, that the front desk initially told me to wait again. I then mentioned that the lobby air conditioning was too cold and I wasn't feeling well. Only then did the front desk say 'Okay...' and promptly made our room cards. It really felt like they had rooms available but just weren't giving them out... The bed and pillows were good; I slept very well for both nights. However, there was always a loud noise in the middle of the night... It sounded like huge pipes or some machinery running. The room came with a universal adapter, which was a thoughtful touch."

"Stayed for 4 nights. Upon check-in I asked the man at the reception if anything else was needed as normally a deposit would be taken. Was told that everything was fine. On the 2nd night we decided to have dinner at the restaurant at the lobby. Food was not prepared as I requested as I ordered steak. The waiter insisted that I sliced through the middle to check it as I ordered medium rare. He agreed that it was overcooked. Took it back and said that they would prepare another order. However, 5minutes later he sent the same steak back to me and mentioned that they checked under proper lighting and it was cooked properly. It was very obvious that it was definitely overcooked and dry. I just accepted it and couldn’t be bothered. Mind you the fries that came with the steak was over fried and hard as rock. I didn’t even eat another piece after trying it. Halfway through chewing on the hard and dry steak. The waiter decided to come back again and ask if everything was fine and if I didn’t like it they could cook me another piece. This was just frustrating and I didn’t want to wait anymore as it was late and I was tired from a full day tour. Finally finished my dinner and asked for the bill. I signed it to the room. The waiter comes back and tells me that I didn’t put a deposit in the room so I had to pay. Mind you I brought no cards or cash since I expected that I could bill to the room. One of us ended up going back to the room to take money to pay for the meal which was embarrassing and unacceptable for our standards. We were staying for 4 nights. On our last night of stay, we came back to the hotel and we were locked out of the room. Had to go back to reception and found out that the person who checked us in didn’t put the correct number of nights. This was truly a disgrace on Waldorf and the receptionist.  Obviously your staff at the check in need more training. I have stayed in many international hotels around the world and never face such lowly trained staff at reception that make such mistakes which spoils the image of the hotel.  However, I have to give a huge shoutout to a few people that made my days great. Menna and Apeeo from breakfast were wonderful. Impeccable service from them. However, male staffs showed poor knowledge and were quite lazy as they were more interested in chatting that serving customers. Bellman Sherif was wonderful helping us check out with our luggages and even waited with us for our transport."

"If we consider Egyptian standards, this hotel in Cairo is probably one of the best. If we refer to the European standards of 5-star Kempinski hotels, there would be a lot to correct. From the fact that the staff should respects privacy (they just walk into the room, while I were naked going to shower and then leave, without apologizing and laughing loudly), to the fact that there is a glass screen in the shower (same in 3 different rooms) leaking water, floods the bathroom or, say, the security service harassing you at 2 in the morning because of a ”suspicious” item in the suitcase, although the same thing was in the suitcase of the previous two arrivals and no one paid attention (it was a steam iron). In general, the staff is forced to be polite and they are very slow. Just a very kind restaurant receptionist and one nice waiter in Osman restaurant. I believe that this is the maximum that Kempinski manages to achieve in terms of its own standards considering the mentality of Egypt."

"The hotel's location is right by the Nile, which is great for enjoying river views during breakfast. Other than that, the location doesn't really offer any advantages. **Hygiene**: This is where I have to complain. The chairs and table on the balcony were covered in dust, and the carpet had a slight, localized foot odor (which I noticed when I squatted down to pack my luggage). **Facilities**: Quite old-fashioned, like those outdated 4- or 5-star hotels in China from ten years ago. There were no toothbrushes or combs. Also, no disposable bath bags for the bathtub, and the hairdryer was really poor. **Service**: Thankfully, the service was warm and attentive. Overall, I paid a four-figure price for an old 5-star hotel that felt more like a guesthouse in terms of amenities. It didn't feel worth the price; for a bit less, I could have just booked a guesthouse with character, or for a bit more, I could have stayed at a much better hotel. Oh, and the pool-facing room was noisy if you didn't close the door, as it faced the road."
