Great
MMiko 05I recently stayed at Hop Inn Hotel North EDSA Quezon City and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel is very convenient, especially for travelers who want easy access to SM North EDSA, Trinoma, and the MRT North Avenue Station since everything is within walking distance. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable, perfect for a short stay or business trip.
What I liked most was the cleanliness and the friendly staff. Check-in was smooth, security was good, and there’s also a convenience store downstairs which is very helpful for quick purchases anytime. The hotel offers great value for money considering its location and basic but comfortable amenities.
One thing to note is that since the hotel is located beside EDSA and near the MRT station, some rooms can get noisy at times, especially during peak hours. Also, amenities are limited since it is a budget hotel, so guests may need to bring their own toiletries.
Overall, I would still recommend Hop Inn Hotel North EDSA Quezon City for travelers looking for an affordable, clean, and accessible place to stay in Quezon City. It’s a practical choice for shopping trips, business travel, or quick overnight stays.
MMark0720Hop Inn is widely known as a reliable budget hotel chain—especially popular in the Philippines and Thailand. It’s designed for travelers who want clean, no-frills accommodation at an affordable price.
MMisisCWe absolutely loved the vibe and ambiance of the hotel, which makes it even more disappointing to say that our entire experience was ruined by the poor service.
We arrived early to ask if early check-in was available. We completely understood when we were told that check-in starts at 3:00 PM, so we left for lunch and came back exactly at 3:00 PM. Since we had already completed the check-in process earlier, we expected to receive our room key without any issues.
Instead, we were told that our room was still not ready. What made the situation even more frustrating was seeing other guests who were just checking in receive their room keys while we continued waiting. After waiting for about 30 minutes, we were finally given our key card—only to discover that it didn't work. We couldn't even enter our room and had to return to the reception, where we waited for almost another 30 minutes while the staff tried to figure out what was wrong.
The most disappointing part was that I had to follow up multiple times before anyone offered us another room. There was very little communication, no sense of urgency, and no apology that made us feel our time was valued.
We booked this hotel specifically because we were attending a concert and wanted a comfortable place to rest and freshen up beforehand. Instead, because of the delays, we had no opportunity to shower, change comfortably, or even rest. We ended up going straight to the concert feeling exhausted and frustrated, which completely defeated the purpose of booking the hotel in the first place.
Our room was at Richmond Eastwood. While I understand it may be managed separately, the staff from Richmond were the ones assisting us. Unfortunately, it genuinely felt like guests who booked directly with Richmond were given better treatment and priority than those who booked through this property. Whether or not that was actually the case, that was certainly how the experience made us feel.
When we checked out, the staff gave us a complimentary cake, which we appreciate as a kind gesture. However, by that point, the damage had already been done. The delays, inconvenience, and frustration had already ruined our mood and our overall experience. While the cake was a nice attempt to make up for what happened, it couldn't undo the time we lost or the experience we were hoping to have.
It's unfortunate because the hotel itself has so much potential. The ambiance is wonderful, but great facilities mean very little when the service falls far below expectations. We left feeling disappointed and would think twice before staying here again.
GGuest UserWe had a wonderful stay at this hotel! My child had so much fun and really enjoyed the indoor pool. The room was very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, allowing us to sleep soundly throughout the night. The breakfast buffet had limited food choices, but it was still enjoyable. What I loved most was the ambiance of the dining area—it was quiet, relaxing, and the instrumental music playing in the background made the experience even more pleasant. Overall, we had a great time and would gladly stay here again. 😊
GGuest UserMy family have been staying here everytime we are in Manila. Staff are accomodating and some became our friends. We always choose to stay here because it is very conveniently located near my brothers' homes. The mall and restaurants are just a walk by which is an advantage for us. That's why we always come back here. A plus is the cleanliness of the room, the beddings and towels smell fresh.
GGuest UserI arrived in the evening and spent and hour trying to find the place . There is NO illuminated sign post indicating that the hotel is beyond the entry road. Sincerely, it’s pathetic. Bad management.
I finally found the entrance, and met a whole filming crew for a TV show that occupied every square meter of the road. I accept …a coincidence. The building is large and attractive. But I was annoyed with trying to find the place. Got to my room, no water. However a kind gentleman brought me two bottles. This is an upper class hotel in theory…. Got down to breakfast late due to me being so tired. Kind and considerate staff which meant such a lot. Now I know how to get there, would I stay again ? Yes. But they must do something about the sign posting
EEmma MaestroStayed at Camelot Hotel for our Christmas party and loved its vintage charm. The wooden furniture is well preserved, and the nostalgic lobby with Camelot-era décor gives it a unique feel. Plus, the location is great—just walking distance to HYDRO and Starbucks. Very convenient and memorable stay.
JJ.G.P.A small window type A/C is not enough for the huge space of the unit, it can not make the room cold enough for a good night's sleep.
Location is off the main drag. If you walk to the property, you will go through urine stinks of the back alleys.
Breakfast is average and was served cold (TOCILOG, ONLY OPTION AVAILABLE ) Restaurant staff are friendly.
LLeenard MananingWe had a pleasant stay at the hotel—the staff were very accommodating and made our experience smooth and comfortable. One thing to note is that guests don’t have access to the hotel gym, but the pool is available. However, reservations are required in advance before using it.
Overall, we’d rate our stay a 4.3/5. It offers great value for its price and is definitely worth considering. 😊
EEjgrl90The staff was super friendly, but there were a lot of amenties described here that were not available, such as the pool and gym. Our AC in the room wouldnt turn on initially as well, and I had to ask someone to come in to get it to start (apparently there wasnt enough batteries in the AC remote!)
Also, the front of the hotel was undergoing construction, so they couldn't provide us with a place to park, which was inconvenient. On top of this, I have asked for late checkout the night before, which the front desk person said it would be possible since the hotel was a bit empty, but the next morning, the person on the front desk insisted we needed to pay PHP 450/hour for late checkout. Overall though, I liked the room and the night shift front desk and would definitely want to visit again once construction is done.
