Fantastic stay in Yeosu – Spacious villas and great service We enjoyed a wonderful 5-night stay (May 14–19, 2026) at the Marine Terrace Pool Villa. This 3-star property is perfectly located on a beautiful bay. We stayed in the Ocean 4 and Marine 4 villas; they were very spacious, featured 2 large beds, and had equipped kitchens. A real highlight was the private pool in each villa, which we could heat to 36°C—the perfect way to relax after days spent hiking and visiting temples. The only downside was that the main swimming pool wasn’t open yet during our visit. The 2 staff members were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay. Communication via translation apps and gestures worked perfectly well—definitely better than our Korean! It was a pleasure to stay in such a setting; we were the only Western guests among several local Korean families. We highly recommend this resort for anyone visiting Yeosu!

My partner and I had a wonderful time at this accommodation. The area is very calming and peaceful and we had a great time visiting the green tea fields. The accommodation itself was very charming and had everything we needed for a night's stay. It is definitely easiest to reach with a car but we managed without, and the owner kindly offered to bring us to the train station on the way back, which was a great help. We also thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary breakfast we were offered and were able to enjoy in the garden. Thank you!

It's a clean and quiet place, but it was a pity that I couldn't see the panoramic view because it was blocked by the building in front of me.

Centered around the Shangria Beach Tourist Hotel in Mokpo, it takes about 10 minutes by taxi from Mokpo Station to the hotel, which is extremely convenient. If you book a sea‑view room at this hotel, you can directly watch the Mokpo Dancing Sea Fountain Laser Show at 8:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. every night (show times vary by day of the week). These two shows are different: one is more suitable for young people with hip‑hop music, while the other features traditional songs for older guests. From your room, you can see the laser show venue near the waterfront promenade of Peace Square directly. Do not miss the chance to ride the Mokpo Marine Cable Car, the second‑longest marine cable car in the world and the longest one in South Korea. There are many popular scenic spots nearby including Yudalsan Mountain, Gohado Island, Mokpo Skywalk and the National Maritime Museum, which are all worth visiting. Walking back and to the right when facing the laser show area, there is a large area with numerous dining options, especially bars serving beer that stay open late. Daege Mart, the major department‑style shopping mall closest to the hotel district, can also be found nearby.

Great! I loved that it has a laundry machine in the room (no dryer or drying rack, tho). And it also has an induction stove (but no cutlery or any pot or pan or dish, haha). It doesn't have iron nor fabric refreshner but that's common for Korean hotels. Tho I listed things they don't have, they have amazing view, great clean crisp bed, great café at the lobby, a zip line (discounted for guests), and an infinity pool (can be used with a bit of fee).

Hotel itself was clean and quiet. In addition, the view was great for both sides. We stayed in ondol room with mountain view, but mountains were far and we could enjoy the view of surrounding area. We used taxi for transportation to restraurants, cable car, and museum. Since the hotel is in Youngam area while most tourist destinations are in Mokpo area, you need to plan wisely. Nonetheless, it was very satisfactory as a whole.

It's clean and nice because it's just opened. The staff is also friendly!! We used the duplex, and the child had so much fun and liked having his own hideout. The internal facilities are a large refrigerator, induction washing machine (which we used a lot because it was summer). We didn't use breakfast because we also wanted to explore delicious restaurants. It was nice to be able to use the nearby mart, convenience store, bank, and Daiso on foot for everything we needed during our 3-night trip.^^ The man and woman who work at the CU convenience store right in front are so friendly that it was a better trip.

I think it's a really good place except for a really long distance. First of all, the view of the sea in my room was so good, and the view was really a must anywhere. Especially the sunset is really beautiful, so I think almost all the guests came out to see the sunset ^^ It's a pity that there is no other place around this dormitory It's not suitable to eat, so it's better to use a convenience store or buy something in the hotel or at all.

It seems that I'm trying to do it, but from the evening, the smell of sewers is terrible. I moved the room, but I couldn't sleep all night. The lobby on the first floor smells of mold, and the CD machine has half of the mold on the wall, so it has to come out right away. It used to be a very good park hotel, and the mountain climbing in the room is also spectacular. But most importantly, the smell of sewers in bed is the worst. It's a really good place to be well maintained, but I'm sorry. The response of the staff who treat the civil service is also very unpleasant. Not everyone, but the response of the elderly staff is high pressure and unpleasant, so I don't want to go again. Good scenery in a good place ... Unfortunately.
