Great location in the heart of Stone Town. Five star breakfast and wonderful staff went out of their way to provide us an unforgettable few days. Rooftop bartender made us excellent cocktails as we enjoyed the infinity pool, views and sunset after exploring the cities endless network of streets and paths.

The rooms are clean and the shower is amazing. The restaurant is also really nice. The only downside was the noise. We were on the first floor (one above ground level) and it was so loud from the street. We could hear phones ringing from the street below and everyone’s conversations, yelling, and music from a nearby restaurant. It kept us up at night. Other than that, it was really clean, the rooftop bar and pool were really nice and the staff was super friendly.

Was on the first floor, streets were extremely noisy till very early on in the morning. Music & noise. No lift but staff did help with bags. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Bathroom is a wet room so whole floor is soaked.

Well situated in Stonetown. Easy walking distance to all the shops and sights. Clean and cool rooms. Nice decor - each room is different. Very good breakfast. 5th floor bar with infinity pool. Great views especially of sunset. Friendly staff. Stonetown is one giant Unesco building site so don’t expect it to be silent. Really enjoyed our stay only minus was WiFi stopping before departure… but that is solvable!

Sehr gut gelegenes Hotel mit sehr freundlichen Mitarbeitern. Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet, aber teilweise ist das Interior mehr gut gemeint eingebracht als gut gemacht. Toilette war sehr wackelig. Das Zimmer ist außerdem sehr hellhörig. Eine Investition in Doppel/Dreifachverglasung könnte das Problem reduzieren. Von der Dachterrasse hat man einen sehr schönen Blick, den man abends bei einem Getränk seiner Wahl genießen kann. Das Frühstück war richtig gut, mit Ausnahme des Obsttellers. Die Wassermelone war manchmal nicht mehr ganz frisch. Wahrscheinlich werden die Obstteller sehr früh angerichtet und dann im Kühlschrank kaltgestellt. Spa und Restaurant haben wir nicht getestet.
