After swiping the card to enter the room, you have to go through a long and narrow passage and stairs, which gives people an eerie feeling. Moreover, there are two doors to enter, one of which is locked. In short, it is very strange. The soundproofing was very poor. I heard what sounded like machine vibrations from time to time in the dead of night, which kept me from sleeping well all night. When I finally fell asleep in the morning, the landline in the room rang again! It’s so torturous!

The location is good, just across the bridge is the Notre Dame Cathedral. However, if you drive by yourself, only licensed vehicles can enter the area near the hotel. It is renovated on a historical building. The exposed wooden building is very unique and the experience is good. Although there is no elevator, there are staff who take the initiative to help carry luggage upstairs. Street parking in Strasbourg is very expensive, 3.5 euros an hour; hotel parking lot 30 euros a day; the hotel introduced a nearby parking lot, parking for about 16 hours, 16 euros.

It was meaningful because it was a traditional hotel. My wife and I had a room with a private outdoor garden, but it was a little cold because the window was single-pane. There was an ashtray on the outdoor table, but there were butts in it, which made us feel a little uncomfortable.
