I started staying in this hotel many years ago, but this time I came back and felt that the sanitary facilities were much worse and the supporting facilities were of lower cost and quality. There is a problem with the wooden board in one of the rooms. There is a harsh sound coming from the wooden structure every 1-2 minutes (not from the next door). You need to wear earplugs to sleep.

Location is superb with convenience shops, eateries and bubble tea shops at the door step.
Sound insulation is very bad. When your neighbor showers there is a very water gushing sound near the you can hear clearly people talking along the corridor. Definitely not a hotel for light sleepers.
WiFi connection is almost non existent… though there are a few spots to connect, there is no internet connection or it barely loads/unstable. I had to rely on my eSIM data instead throughout the entire stay.
Hotel offers offering food from famous stall, a convenience factor which may favor some travelers.

The room is super small, and I already knew there were no windows when I made the reservation, so that’s okay~
The key point is that the rooms are not soundproofed. They seem to be separated one by one and are very close to the next room. Opening the door next door is like opening the door of your own room!
Any sound outside is very clear inside, there is absolutely no sound insulation!
Stayed for 2 nights and was woken up every night!
The bedding and other items are ordinary and not comfortable at all. There is no conditioner in the bath products. The hair dryer is very slow and takes a long time. If you want to stay, remember to prepare conditioner in advance~
The only good thing is that the hotel is in a good location and very close to Ximending Station
