Best Hotels near National Taiwan Museum Nanmen Park, Taipei

In the lively Taipei neighborhood, hidden in the quiet street~ This is our most assured and comfortable place to stay in Taipei. The MRT takes 5 minutes to walk, so I can go anywhere I think of~ You can walk to the Yongkang Normal University business district. Clean and intimate service, the room is new, really good!

Location is superb. The only issue I had was the noise since i got the window bed. I can even listen clearly to the conversation downstairs. Plus the car & motorcycle sound is very loud. Bathroom & toilet is clean. But have to wait for quite some time coz it’s shared with 2 dormitories.

Located within minutes from Ximending and the Taipei metro, so it was the perfect location for me. I had the deluxe room which was spacious, with lots of room space to move around and there was a mini fridge, open wardrobe where I could hang my clothes and a counter top on the side with 2 chairs. The shower and toilet was also spacious with a kinda bathtub. Shower gel and shampoo in dispenser were also available. Toothrbrush, shaver, comb and shower cap were all available during check in if required and bathroom slippers were also available in the room. Little things that made everything complete. At the concierge, there were snacks that were free of charge for guests and a water dispenser that serves sparkling water which was so cool! The room will be cleaned upon request and when I asked why, they said cos some guests want their privacy and do not wanna be disturbed so they will only clean the room upon request. Luckily I am quite a tidy person and didn’t eat in my room so my room was generally clean and didn’t really need any cleaning during my stay. Towels were sufficient and I only needed more tissue and mineral water during my stay and was given to me upon my request. If anything is needed, the concierge is also available 24 hours which ensured peace of mind for every guest. But most of all, it was the staff that made my stay fun and memorable. They were extremely friendly and approachable. I love the family/friends feel whenever I was in their space. They were also extremely helpful when I asked about where I could get great local food and they would even Google and show me exactly what they were recommending and made sure I will get to the desired destination. Overall, this is a great hotel that I would highly recommend for anyone when travelling to Taipei Taiwan.

Good location near Taipei Station but no window in the room so you can't tell is day or night and the toilet is translucent glass so will be problem for friend or colleagues if share room. Toilet don't have shelve to place toiletries and no mirror in the room for dress up.

I had a pleasant solo stay here. The room was comfortable and the staff were friendly, making for a peaceful and enjoyable experience. Highly recommend.

The service was pretty standard. Half hearted average service. Breakfast was horrible though. Better option to not just get breakfast and go elsewhere. They could have made the price cheaper and not have breakfast. Lol...

The hotel was abit old but the quality of service provided by the staff is excellent. Specifically, their helpfulness in resolving issues such as a faulty lock on luggage and thr 17th floor staff was try their best to comfort guests during an earthquake, even though they were also concerned themselves. Only that the bathroom is abit inconvenience, you have to climb in to the bathtub to bath.

The rooms does not seem to be sound proof can hear customers talking along the corridor or opening the doors. Also there not much hooks inside the bathroom. Location is really good except the stairs to caesar mall, very inconvenient for tourists with luggage. Overall still a good experience

The service is great and location is within walking distance to Ximengding. Really happy with the services and facilities provided which is still the same before Covid times. Stayed once before Covid with my husband and both of us like this place with the facilities and location. Therefore decided to stay at this hotel again this time with with our family. Kids room to keep the children occupied while we adults have resting area.

We stayed in the Kirin extension of the hotel, which offers a big balcony with a view of Taipei’s night sky. The extension is quieter compared to the main building and has a Family Mart on the ground level, offering a wide selection of delicious microwaveable ready meals. Not keen to eat in brightly lit and busy restaurants, we decided to have a private meal from Family Mart on the balcony with a city view. All in all, it was very enjoyable stay!
