Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel II Reviews

I had a pleasant stay at Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel 4 years ago, so thought I'd try Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel II this time, as they are located near to each other, very close to the bus station and Tiehua Village. This is a great location to explore the city. However, other than the superb location and the bigger room, there isn't much else to love about this hotel. There was literally no service at this branch. Staff were not welcoming and unlike other hotels in Taiwan, they do not greet guests when you are at the lobby. I also never saw any of them smile at guests. In fact, on my first day of check-in, I was blatantly told to check in at Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel instead, because "the hotel is closed for the day". When I asked how come I was not informed earlier, the staff answered "because you don't have a Taiwan mobile number". This is absurd to me, isn't there the Trip.com messaging service where you can contact guests? Very disappointed with the way they handle such cases, no apology at all, and just gives a very transactional feeling. The only time I encountered a staff who greeted me was at the breakfast restaurant. Room amenities and facilities look like they need proper maintenance, and the windows were so dirty. The bed was also not very comfortable to sleep on. Lastly, I know Taiwan hotel breakfasts are usually not so nice compared to eating out in the breakfast shops, but the quality of the breakfast was really bad. Seasonal fresh fruit selection was only watermelon on 1 morning, and guava + watermelon on another. In conclusion, very disappointed with my stay here this time. Will definitely think twice about returning to Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel II the next time I visit Taitung again.

Very nice staffs, great location with shopping centers and restaurants around, closed to night market. Free parking lot. highly recommended if you are planning to stay in Taitung for your vacation with your friends/family

Very good & clean hotel

This is my second stay. The location is right next to Tiehua. It is convenient for parking, shopping, and eating. The front desk staff and breakfast are excellent. There is also a free beverage area, which is suitable for the whole family. It would be better if there is a water dispenser~

The bathroom is not ventilated/the water pipes smell/the 6-person room has no movable table/bedside table

It is very convenient to nearby attractions, especially Tiehua Village, which is very easy to visit whether it is during the day or at night. Each has its own characteristics for you to discover and share with your friends!

The location is good, located in the lively downtown Taitung. But the rooms and facilities are a bit unsatisfactory. There is only one elevator in the hotel. The soundproofing is poor, even the next room can hear it.

The location is very good, the price is cheap, and the CP value is high. Disadvantages: poor sound insulation, not many parking spaces, average breakfast, hot water for bathing in the toilet is not very hot. Overall, it is ok.

The room equipment is rudimentary; the soundproofing is not very good, and the sound of opening and closing the door in the next room can be heard outside the door; you can also hear karaoke singing at night; the pillow is too soft and slips, causing a stiff neck and unable to get a full sleep; the hanger has a weird notch design and hanging clothes often fall off The skew is inconvenient.

Stayed for 5 days and 4 nights in a row. The hotel is located in the city and there is a cinema next door; The cleanliness of the room is good, some paint stains on the floor have not been removed, and the breakfast has not changed. Overall, I am satisfied.

The only thing I want to talk about is that I went to watch the sunrise in the morning and wanted to take a shower when I came back, but there was no hot water. Other than that, everything was good, good sound insulation, quiet, and the air conditioning was cold enough. Water pressure is adequate. I didn’t have breakfast because I ate too much yesterday, but my colleagues said it was good. Drinks are available 24 hours a day, including Luoshen tea, which is delicious.
