Great resort with lots of activities and facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Was low season so was not busy but still there was lots of activities on offer each day. Went as part of a large group but would be fine for couples or solo travellers as they have events for people travelling alone. Would love to go back.

Excellent clean and all in services hotel, so many activities included. Second year here. Especially liked entertainment guy Denny, with excellent touch of the audience. I am sure that will return again soon.

Top service, amazing food and lovely hotel

Our stay at Robinson the was great. It was the end of our trip with two sets of parents, and the perfect place to wind down and relax on a beautiful beach. The staff was excellent and made us feel immediately welcomed. The biggest positives in our view: Staff, cleanliness, immaculate grounds, breakfast, gym/basketball/sports courts, and the great beach. What could be improved upon: the a la carte menu at the Bamboo bar was lacking in Thai options, as well as general quality. We ordered 7 dishes, and only the samosas and fish and chips were of decent quality compared to other food on our trip. This was in stark contrast to their breakfast and dinner buffets, which were both pretty good. Neutral: The location. While the resort has everything you'd need, they are fairly out of the way of everything. This offers a more private and quiet feel, but also means options are lacking, such as finding good Thai food or doing any light shopping or stocking up on drinking water at a sane price. - If you walk south on the beach (through a fun rocky area when tide isn't too high), you'll find some good restaurants, such as Thai Beach restaurant. Their food was among the best we'd had on our trip. The massaman curry was fantastic. Overall: Lovely stay, and would come back again for a few days!

Amazing retreat like no other, magical place, with amazing food, stunning grounds & beach, wonderful staff, entertainment & activities…best place in the wider area by far.

The hotel is very outdated. We stayed in a room, not a villa. It is very difficult to call it a premium hotel. The tiles in the bathroom are disgusting, the sockets are falling out, there is black mold in places. Many things on the territory have fallen into disrepair. If this is called German quality, then I really sympathize with the Germans. For some reason, they locked the refrigerator with water in the gym. Are you sorry for the bottled water? 4 tennis courts - no one uses them, because here too they were stingy with tennis balls - they ask $ 10 for renting 3 balls. Despite the fact that the hotel is not completely full in the low season, they put noisy neighbors in the room next to us, and this is despite the fact that between the rooms there is an ordinary door that allows you to combine two rooms into one. As a result, it felt like they were talking right in our room. The food at breakfast was delicious, there was red fish. A big minus for the drinks - they are not tasty, the cappuccino from the old coffee machine is terrible. In Khao Lak you can find cheaper, newer and better quality 5-star hotels.

The hotel is amazing! I am delighted! Everything is on the level! Maintenance, cleaning, cleanliness and well-groomed territory! This is a heavenly place 😻 The beach at the hotel is the best, very beautiful and picturesque, squirrels run around the hotel) The breakfasts are amazing! The hotel area is huge, very pleasant to walk around. There are a lot of different sports activities. Beautiful pools. We will definitely return to this hotel!

We decided to extend our stay by 2 days. I really didn’t want to move out. Before this we lived for 8 days. There is a review above. Time has passed and we already miss it and want to come back again. Near the hotel there is still a baby elephant living in the jungle between the hotel and the Bambi cafe there is a road (there is a sign), walk along it a little and there will be a small farm on the left. Feed 350 baht for a basket of bananas. Pleasant additional emotions near the hotel. A very long coast with a beach strip for those who like long walks both left and right... fording a few rivers depending on what time to walk... and how big the tide is... Endless beaches, beautiful nature and beautiful sunsets. There are a lot of plants, there’s a jungle park right next to the hotel, a fantastic combination of different types of palm trees and pine trees. A lot of squirrels. They are not afraid of people at all. There are many different crabs on the shore. Especially after sunset. The area is very large and it is generally not noticeable how many people are relaxing in the hotel. Complete feeling of privacy. This is the most attractive thing. You can combine relaxing and active holidays.

This hotel is considered quite spacious. There are villa zones and hotel zones, there is a swimming pool where you can swim, there is a children's play zone, and it is on a relatively uncrowded beach. It is considered a good hotel. Breakfast is OK.

Compared to the rooms in the buildings, heaven and earth. Everything is new, huge room, interesting ceiling. Your own private pool 1.2 deep, sun loungers. I highly recommend it. Minus - some modest breakfast, in the main restaurant it was larger)

The hotel is still a top address in terms of location and service, including the program that is offered. The food and drinks are varied and leave nothing to be desired, and the price level is also very good. For travelers who don't just want to go to the buffet or the various restaurants three times a day, please only have breakfast... the rest can be easily obtained in the many beach bars and local restaurants. A fresh splash of color is missing here and there, but that's not a major drawback. What was noticeable and not so nice was that the rooms were relatively humid despite the air conditioning. We mentioned this on site and the team already knew about it. The air conditioning should be serviced or replaced. Conclusion after the third visit to Robinson Khao Lak: I would gladly go back anytime :-)
