The Hotel was in walking distance from the Gates, Bus terminal and many fine cafe and restaurants. The views are just lovely of Mount Etna and beach. You will find everything here, hike the mountain to the Madonna Della Rocca Shrine. It will give you a unique experience back thousand of years ago and hurt legs! The hotel served nice breakfast and great service. This is certainly a well established hotel with great management. Thanks girls at front desks for your kindness and assistance during my stay🙏🏿 Check out the pictures for place with great food and Cannolis!

Taormina City Center
Although you can't enjoy a private beach in winter (the winter beach is closed), you can feel the Christmas atmosphere everywhere on the street. The location of the hotel is very good, just walk around the town to eat and walk. The balcony of the room faces the street view and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of TAORMINA every morning. The hotel staff is also very enthusiastic and will assist with various issues. The next visit will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Hotel Bel Soggiorno

Hotel is built into the cliffside. Room was lovely, very large with storage(wardrobe and chest of drawers). Bathroom was great and shower pressure was really good, nice n powerful Breakfast was fine, aleays some version of eggs, bruschette, cold meats, veggie pastry, loads of cakes and pies and canoli, fruit n yoghurts. Cant fault the breakfast or the staff. Only downside was no pool and on the really hot days when we just sunbathed a dip would have been nice Also some nights you can hear the music from a party venue down below as the sound drifts upwards. It can go on till the early hours

This is a beautiful & pretty little hotel with clean comfortable rooms and friendly and helpful staff. We were a group of 4 staying for 5 nights from 3rd July in 2 adjacent rooms, with sea views. One room was slightly larger than the other and had tea & coffee making facilities, plus a bigger bathroom. The views from the balconies were wonderful - how lovely it was to watch the sun rising over the sea in the mornings. Breakfast was eaten upstairs in the part open breakfast room with similar views to our bedrooms. There was an amazing buffet style choice of both hot and cold food, which was replenished quickly by the lovely kitchen staff who were on hand cooking. All food seemed to be home made and there was a vast array of both savoury and sweet. Drinks were brought to your table by a really friendly lady with a great sense of humour. There was also a lovely terrace with a bar for you to sit out on during the day and evening, although we were out and about so much that we didn’t get a chance to use it as there is so much to see and do in and around Taormina. The hotel is perfectly situated only a short walk to Corso Umberto, the restaurants and the sights of beautiful Taormina. It’s also very near to a well stocked mini market. All four of us had the most wonderful 5 nights stay in this beautiful hotel, and didn’t want to leave it. Thank you to all the staff. I hope we’ll be back one day.
Residence Terra Rossa Taormina

First of all the positives: It is a very attractive residence, with good views. The room was spacious and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a good buffet breakfast at 10euros, where you can eat as much as you want. No hot food, but a good continental selection. Negatives: The pool side only has (uncomfortable) metal deck chairs. No loungers at all, so not possible to lie out in the sun comfortably, and certainly not on your tummy. The bed was also extremely uncomfortable and the pillows like rocks. It's two single mattresses on a double bed with nothing to hold them together, so they are constantly slipping apart and you fall down the crack in the middle. I didn't sleep at all well throughout the whole week. The air con isn't brilliant either - not very powerful. As other reviews have mentioned, it's not really set up for self catering, so I only used the fridge and kettle. It's the first ”self catering” place I've visited where there wasn't a welcome pack on the room, even if it was just some water, bread, cheese. Nothing. Also, these places usually have some ”standards” left by previous people, such as salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, washing powder etc, but there is nothing. Yes - it's location is halfway down the hill so there are a lot of steep steps in either direction, which I didn't mind, but if you don't like going up a long flight of steep steps, you can walk DOWN to the funicular, visit the town and then walk DOWN the steps back to the residence, so there are ways around avoiding an uphill struggle. There are no restaurants in the immediate vicinity, however I had a very late lunch while I was out and about and then just made a sandwich or snack in the evening, so again, there are ways to work around this.
