The lady at the front desk I met when I checked in was very nice, enthusiastic and attentive. Living here is convenient for shopping on Fifth Avenue, and there is a backyard for parking, which is very convenient. You don't have to worry about having nowhere to park a large car that can't get out of the basement. I hope more attention can be paid to hygiene, especially around the sink, toilet and window sill. There is Chenji Guoba dish for breakfast nearby, but the taste is average, mainly because the dining environment and sanitary conditions are relatively poor; Just next to the hotel is the Goubuli VIP Building; within a 15-minute walk, you can find gelato and Zhao Dagujin dishes (recommended, they are very delicious and the portions are large. The service guy looks fierce, but his attitude is... They are very nice and polite) etc. There are many restaurants and small shops that you can visit. It is recommended to go to the Haihe River to enjoy the breeze in the evening, which is a different feeling.

The hotel is in a great location. There are many things to see in the area. We enjoyed taking night walks while there. Unfortunately, we booked a non-smoking room and the room definitely was not. It also seemed like counters had not been wiped down before we entered the room. Overall, I wouldn't mind staying here again because of the location.

This hotel is in a GREAT location for tourists (near heaps of great restaurants and bars - scenic area and Heping Road shopping) or business travellers (I was attending a conference at the Meijiang conference centre) and has really lovely big modern rooms. The downsides - there is only 1 lift for all 10 floors (which are dispersed throughout 24 floors) of the hotel so the wait for the lift can be frustrating, also the reception staff struggled with the fact I had made 2 separate bookings (to separate work from personal travel) for the same room even though it was carefully explained in Chinese and a note should have been recorded against the room - instead it meant my room wasn’t serviced properly on my last full day and also my room keycard was deactivated. The irritations aside, this is the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel and I would stay here again as the rooms really are so nice.

Tianjin Friendship Hotel gave me a grand feeling at first sight. It is opposite Wudadao, in the city center, and convenient to various attractions. The room is comfortably furnished and the view is beautiful. I like this hotel very much and I will continue to stay here next time I come to Tianjin.

Excellent location on line 1, so great for moving around the city. Also walking distance to plenty of great coffee shops and sights. Secure swipe entry to main door and rooms. Cute coffee shop as part of the hotel. My room had a bath which also provided a bath bomb for a small charge.

I came to take an exam nearby. The hotel environment is very good. The overall high-end atmosphere. The front desk service is very meticulous and thoughtful. The hotel's security awareness is also good. I opened the door to get takeaway midway and forgot to take the room card and couldn't get in. The room and the staff checked the information for a long time before they helped me open the door. I booked a large bed without windows, and the hotel upgraded it to a large bed with windows. The layout in the room is also very delicate. The breakfast in the morning is rich in variety. In short, it is a very good accommodation experience

Take Metro Line 1 and walk to the end of Food Street. Opposite to it is Business Building C. Mingsu is located in the business building and the shopping mall. The room is clean and a bit European style. It is convenient for travel and dining. It is also very good to go to each scenic spot. The young man of Mingsu also arranged the daily travel route for me. I think it is especially good for my first time in Tianjin. I don't get lost in the east, west, south, north, and wandering around.

The place to stay in Tianjin! We always stay here when returning to Tianjin. Location is the best and service is outstanding. Take Metro Line 1 - Exit XiaoBaiLou station and go out the A or D exit. A is shorter but D exit has less stairs (if you are pulling luggage). As you exit you will see the hotel directly in front of you. Rooms are of a classic design with solid walls ensuring a good sleep. Windows can be opened which is a nice feature. Staff are all very helpful, friendly and enthusiastic. There are many shops, restaurants, parks and other attractions all within walking distance or short metro ride. We did not have the hotel breakfast this time but on prior visits it has been fantastic. Tianjin is well known for great breakfasts - do not miss the Jianbing guozi ! Environment: The external environment is close to the business district, with many shopping malls, a wide range of takeaways, authentic Tianjin snacks and KFC. Takeaway is convenient. In terms of the environment in the hotel, there is almost no executive lounge. When we checked in, it was after noon, because the room was not ready, we proposed to go to the lounge or the executive lounge to rest, but there might be a wedding banquet in the hotel at that time, the lounge was full of chattering people, and there was no executive lounge. In the end, I only took two bottles of Nongfu Spring and was forced to go out and wait for the room to be ready. It may be located in a commercial building, and its lower floors are rented out for hotpot dining, as well as a swimming pool and spa open to the public. Residential guests and outsiders are not well distinguished, and the elevators are mixed. If a high-level guest swipes the room card and presses the floor, other people can press the floor of other rooms at will, which poses a certain security risk. Service: There is no problem with the service attitude of the waiter. Speak politely and politely. We asked the customer service to give suggestions for Tianjin snacks on WeChat, and there were still positive responses. However, we need to strengthen the consideration of customers. For example, if the room is not good, we can actively arrange for guests to sit and rest in the coffee shop. After all, we just got off the train and are hungry. The room facilities should be checked frequently. Don’t wait until the customer is ready to wash and go to bed at night, and the bathtub is broken. In the end, the problem was solved, but the means to appease the guests must be prepared. Like other five-star hotels, when encountering room problems and causing inconvenience to guests, they will propose to change rooms or use methods such as giving small desserts. Clearly this hotel needs more work. If you want to write the welcome card by hand, please be careful 😂, it is obvious that the name is only painted out, and one card can be used multiple times. Such a welcome card can only have the opposite effect 😂, it is not as good as a printed one or not sent. It’s better to use fresher fruit for welcome fruit, so that customers can help you promote it, right?

After some confusion in the beginning with my room, it was finally sorted and I had a great stay in the Deluxe room. The hotel is in a great location, not too far from 5 Avenues. Breakfast was okay. Wished they had more western variety.
