Hotel location is good. Hygiene wise not that great. Cups and sauces in the dinning room are stained. Room telephone is dirty and dusty. Breakfast is always the same menu. Overall good place to stay.

From the get-go, we have been treated very well from all the staff members at the SMR (from reception/front desk, breakfast team, and lobby coffee shop attendant). Although the hotel is rather dated and can really use some modern upgrades, all the attentive, courteous, and respectful staff members especially Mr. Agasthiar, Sudhakar and Manikandan ***** with the rest of the housekeeping staff have made up for the hotels’ shortcomings. Thank you for your hospitality.

The hotel is located on the outskirts of the city. It is very old and dated - needs refurbishment and rooms/bathrooms are badly in need to painting/updating. The service is good though did not have breakfast or meals there. Reception tsaff is very responsive and polite. I was in Trichy to visit Temples - would not recommend it as too far from centre of town and away from Srirangam.

Located in the prime location of the city, this hotel is very clean, The room decor was very nice. Crisp clean linen, hygienic bathroom, beautiful city view from the room.
