If you are looking for a personalized, luxurious, amazing vacation...Tokoriki is your best bet. The diving was divine, the food was absolutely amazing, the snorkeling off the shore was fabulous, the bures were completely comfortable and private, and the guest services staff was absolutely the best. We are senior divers, and our dive staff was excellent. Will's Dive Shop responded to all of my pre-trip requests, and the dive staff provided us with personalized diving agendas. Save (pronounced Sah'-vey) made sure we were safe, comfortable, and that we had excellent new equipment for each of our dives. They worked with us to have a dive schedule/profile that we were very comfortable with. For many of our dives we had our own divemaster. The reefs are so healthy - you won't believe the colors of the coral - and we enjoyed morning diving and the afternoon snorkeling boat trips. My husband requested the larger tanks for our dives and the dive shop was able to provide him with those. You must see the giant clams!! We opted for the speedboat transfers to Tokoriki Island rather than the helicopter transfers. The food was amazing. The menus featured fresh island fare and the flavors were so good. I never knew I loved fresh carrot and turmeric breakfast juice! The infinity pool provided incredible sunset views. Our bure had a private plunge pool and a wonderful private outdoor shower. We loved the private hammock under the trees and our private path to the beach! The beds and pillows were perfect! If you are looking for the number one destination in the South Pacific, you are looking for Tokoriki Island Resort. You'll be greeted by name when you arrive, and you'll be greeted by name throughout your stay. Vincent was an excellent host, and the rest of the attendants provided all the personalized treatment we could have imagined. The entire resort has only 36 bures, so the resort never has more than 72 guests. We most highly recommend Tokoriki Island Resort, and we are already planning our next trip!

Vostri Matteo & Chiara.

A perfect stay in the most beautiful place. We have discovered a most lovely gem in Fiji after many Fijian holidays. We could not have asked for anything more for an idyllic stay, Bure was perfect, service faultless and always very welcoming. Food and drink were top notch. Already thinking of going back

Just returned from Tokoriki and a large percentage of the guests were getting sick, sever vomiting and diarrhea. One night 5 of the 8 guest at the teppanyaki grill got sick that night, identical problems. The next day 3 people, the next day 2 people. This continued every day while we were at the resort. When I sat down for a meal, it was very concerning to figure out what is the safest food to eat and who is next to get sick next. Management indicated that the water was safe to drink because it was De Salinization water. This was reported to management by everyone that was sick and they refused to address it or even acknowledge it. They indicated it was a virus which is B.S. Management and staff acted like it was a normal occurrence. I did have one food service workers advise me to drink only bottled water (which they charge for. Its really sad to loose a day or two of your vacation time (not to mention the $1000 cost per day) because they can not provide safe food and water. I trusted Todoroki to provide a safe environment for our hard earned vacation time and money, and they did not. it does not matter how great the resort and staff are if your stuck in the bathroom hugging the toilet.

You cannot go wrong choosing Tokoriki resort! I went with my best friend and although most of the people and stuff on the island is geared towards couples we had a great time. Still, there are some things you should consider so let me walk through all the details. Booking: Wonderful! If you have the chance, speak to someone in reservations directly. It was lovely to speak to someone real and start that relationship. I used Skype to call and it was so nice to have all my questions answered. I'd been here once before years ago for a wedding but as a guest I just kinda arrived. For this trip I wanted to plan it all out and knowing what all the options and events and such were was so helpful. If you want to avoid the 3% credit card booking fee you can do a bank transfer. You'll still pay your fees and their fees (why isn't this just baked into the price???) for the wire transfer but it's probably still less. You'll be asked for a deposit and then final payment so prep for two sets of fees. Getting there: Easy. You have three options helicopter, private speed boat, or South Seas ferry. If you plan with the helicopter or private speed boat you'll arrive super quickly and can start you vacay right away. If you're looking for the less expensive route you can book the noon (and only) ferry via South Seas. I booked it through their website and added on the bus transfer they offer. To return we snagged a cab back. Both were about the same price - bus or cab. Arrival: Needs improvement. You're tired, it's a lot of travel, and you arrive to chaos. All I wanted was a shower and my bed but instead I had to sit getting eaten by mosquitos while three different people passed us around to tell us what was going on. Hopefully they are working on this, but be prepared for chaos and let the Fiji way of slowing down and kinda not giving AF take hold of you. Activities: Needs improvement. There's a spa and dive shop that while part of the resort run their own books. Stuff fills up FAST which other reviews have mentioned. You can't pre-schedule anything which to me is really frustrating. When I arrive I want to just turn off my brain and vacay mode, but that first few hours we dashed over to the spa to book all our appointments (do this ASAP upon arrival no joke!), then hit the dive shop to make sure we had booked for snorkeling trips, village trip, etc. Also double check anything the resort may have scheduled you. Our package came with a Castaway Island lunch that was scheduled for the day we arrived (***?) and teppanyaki dinner that we also ended up asking to move. Also follow up on anything someone says they are doing for you because stuff gets forgotten or not communicated. Food: ASTOUNDING. My friend and I are picky beeches and we loved every meal. The curry and fish were are favorites but honestly everything was wonderful. She is gluten free and I have a bean/soy/peanut allergy. The chef came and spoke with us regarding our special needs and had no problems
