The hotel is based on the outskirts of the main tourist areas but close to the train station. There are lots of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. I recommend trying out a Japanese breakfast at a nearby restaurant available before 10am.
The hotel provided towels, night shirt and toiletries. Fridge, microwave and kettle but no cup or coffee/ tea. These may have been available at reception. The staff were friendly. They don’t offer the luggage delivery service but the convenience stores do and a hotel next door kindly helped.
Even though it’s based on a busy road it was a quiet and pleasant stay for 4 x nights.
I would recommend this hotel.

The service is good and the attitude is OK. It is just a bit old. The price is understandable. The location is very convenient. There are several subway lines around, which is pretty good.

At nearly 1,000 RMB per night, I can't imagine how they can afford to let guests stay in such a smelly room. If you don't believe me, just go and try it. The smell of stinky feet makes you doubt whether this is a hotel? I reported the situation to the front desk, and the front desk said they would deal with it. When I came back at night, it still smelled terrible.

Very small rooms (normal story for Japan) and there was a lot of hair on the carpet. They change the linen every 4 days. It was confusing that luggage can only be left for a certain time, I was asked to pick it up no later than 2:00 PM
