Great place to stay for solo travellers. Amenities like towel and toothbrush have to be purchased (for 50-100 Yen each) unless you bring your own.

Great location

The hostel is a wonderful find, truly a hidden gem. The price point is incredibly reasonable and yet the ambiance is quite lovely. The facilities are impeccably clean and modern, with all the necessary amenities, including a delightful shared space perfect for enjoying your meals. In terms of noise, there may be some music playing at night, however, it is not overwhelming and earplugs are provided complimentary should you find it bothersome. Personally, I did not find it to be an issue at all. The location may not be the most picturesque but it is not unsafe and the convenience of being able to walk to Aki is a delightful bonus. I would highly recommend this hostel and will certainly be returning in the future.

Okachimachi, close to Akihabara. It's not bad to walk underground from Sassel Ueno Station. I used the 3rd floor, and when I arrived at around 9:20 PM, there was a message with the room number on the door. I thought it would be hot because the spaces were so close together, but it wasn't that hot for August. The ground floor is an entertainment district, but the price is acceptable. It wasn't noisy at night because of the entertainment district, but it was rather noisy because of the people talking on the phone inside. Conclusion: It's okay for the price. I plan to use it again.

There were no staff present, but guests were able to check in by themselves. There was a note saying that the check-in would be done by touch panel, but perhaps because of the many problems, a piece of paper with the bed number and the PIN code for the entrance lock of the guest's name was attached to the touch panel screen. Although it was analog, I was grateful for this as it meant I didn't have to worry about how to operate it. The cabin room was clean and the corridors were very well kept, but the corridors were a bit narrow, and it was quite difficult to pass through when other travelers were sorting their luggage in the corridors. The location was perfect, close to Ueno Station and Okachimachi Station.

The tourists staying there are simple, but the surrounding shops are a bit mixed, so you need to be careful about your own safety. Towels and other toiletries must be paid for. It is recommended to bring your own. There is no ventilation facility in each room, so it is a bit hot at night.

I didn't have any expectations, but it was better than I thought??! The road to get there is rough because it's an entertainment district, but if I don't care, it's not a big problem haha. The 3rd floor is mixed, and the 4th floor is for women only. Good night!

It was in a really busy area! But it wasn't too noisy and I wasn't unable to sleep, so it was comfortable. The facilities were also very clean and nice.

For myself, it's comfortable. The place is too narrow for me. If you're technologically clueless, don't book here. You might have trouble checking in.

I was impressed with the polite service. It was late at night and I was feeling a bit restless, but the staff helped me relax. I'll use the service again if I have the chance. Thank you.

It's a drawback that it's located in the entertainment district of 3-chung with no elevator, but it's nice because it has good transportation and lots of things to do nearby!

Good! Great hostel in a busy area! There is a 24/7 store nearby, in the evening you can go to restaurants and clubs nearby, there is a quiet park with a pond and some kind of temple nearby. It's a 7-10 minute walk from the metro, so you can get to all the attractions without any problems. The beds are comfortable and look like a hollow (there is a feeling of personal space), the hostel itself is quiet and cool, which is cool, because the heat in Tokyo was +28..+31 😀👍 There is a hairdryer, towels and slippers can be rented. I really liked it 👍👍
