I am leaving a review in the hope that it will be helpful to other travelers.
First of all, the location is about a 30-minute walk from Shinjuku Station. It doesn't matter if you have a suitcase, but if you are traveling with luggage like me, the distance is quite difficult.
Second, the condition of the accommodation was as soon as I entered, even though it was not an underground passage, the smell of dust and humidity was so strong that I immediately turned on my perfume and dehumidifier. When I left the next day, I turned on the ventilation (leaving the door open) and it felt much better.
By the second day, I got used to the smell.
Thirdly, there is no soundproofing at all.
Fourth, the bathroom and shower room were convenient as they were on the same floor of the accommodation, but the shower room was in the basement, so the stairs were steep and dangerous, so I didn't go there at all. There were many reviews saying that it was better to go to the public bathhouse, so I went to the public bathhouse.
Fifth, the stairs were very steep. It was really dangerous when it rained, and stairs seemed to be needed to carry heavy loads.
Sixthly, there are no busy places nearby. To get there, you have to walk 30 minutes to Shinjuku. The convenience store is 5 minutes away.
Lastly, I have insomnia, but the bed was soft and I slept really well. The morning sunlight was warm and relaxing.
I don't think it's great for the price. There are a lot of hotels near Shinjuku Station for just 20,000-30,000 won more.
But I've been doing well. thank you ice mountain coffee.
