The has incredible amenities for the price they charge! Everyone was warm and welcoming and made sure we were catered to at all times during our stay.
The rooms were comfortable and what you would expect a standard room too have, the rooms were slightly rough around the edges and had general ware and tear but that didn’t bother us much.
Overall very happy with our stay, and will be coming again.

Cancelled by mistake on a comparison website, rang no more than 10 minutes later and they would not reinstate the booking or refund any of the booking cost. Basically just stole my money. There were still rooms available too so it’s not like they were fully booked.

Thought it was lovely for what we paid …. Everything clean / tidy, checked in early as soon as we turned up! All facilities working and were great, staying for 2 nights at under 100£ …. Very pleased over all and would recommend and stay again xxx

Absolutely disgusting!!! Wasn't able to put 0 stars. Don't go!! We walked in to our booking, and we demanded a refund and left within less than 2 hours. We had to go to a Travelodge up the road who were thankfully able to let us in, they even said they had a lot of cases where this has happened. The hotel manager on duty at Crofton House said that we booked a cheap hotel. There is a difference between a cheap hotel and a hotel with no standards. Dead flies on the window sill in the main hall. Damages to all areas and furniture. We even got into our room which had mould, holes in the walls broken glass. The manager had the cheek to try and say I can put you in a better room for a extra charge. Then when I tried to speak to head office they stated they would get back to me within 48 hours, they didn't, we had to contact them for them to say we will not give you a refund. Just proves this company is all about the money not keeping their guests satisfied. Absolute joke the head office even said this was one of the best hotels in the area and their company. I dread to see the rest of the HH Hotels. If this is one of their best, I dread to think.

Friendly welcome on arrival. Given a lovely king-size room with Seaview (meadow suite) The room was so spacious and relaxing to be in. All very clean. Great facilities such as pools,steam room,sauna and hottub. No issues with parking ,limited carpark size but plenty of street parking available. 5 min walk to the town. This hotel exceeded our expectations as a last minute booking. And came away all relaxed, calm and de stressed. Will definitely be back.

I found the Hotel was easy to find and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The room itself was very nice and comfortable. I was a bit disappointed that there was no breakfast in the mornings as the website had specified that breakfast was included.

What can I say, it was absolutely amazing. I can’t believe for £52 for the night. How clean , Spacious and friendly the staff was. The swimming pool both indoor and outdoor were amazing and the hot tub was a plus I will definitely be Returning soon. If this hotel was in Cornwall, it would easily be over £150 for the night.

Room was spacious and clean bed was comfortable and bedding was cotton and clean . Indoor pool we used and child loved . Staff we did encounter very polite and nice. Downsides it’s only a 1/2 useable hotel no bar breakfast or other facilities . Common facilities miss matched furniture and big room incomplete not safe for children. Grounds not kept beer barrels visible from pool in garden despite no bar . No pool towels . Spar facilities poorly made . We made the best of our stay but would not return or recommend unless you get at a super bargain price
