There was no one to greet us at the Casa Coral, they had not sent us a phone number and we had to look for another hotel. We booked with Agoda but it would happen on TripAdvisor too or any other. Avoid this place !

El alojamiento solo tiene algo positivo, y es la ubicación, justo en la playa. Todo lo demás es muy (muy) mejorable. La limpieza, un apsecto a mejorar mucho. El mantenimiento de la propiedad necesita mejorar MUCHO (pero mucho). Nosotros cometimos el error de dejarnos llevar por las valoraciones positivas sin entrar a mirar detalles y fue un error. Además, y aunque soy consciente de que el sargazo no es culpa del propietario, sí podría tener el detalle de limpiar el sargazo de la playa como hacen el resto de hoteles y alojamientos de la zona. Por último, a pesar de que leímos alguna crítica sobre el wifi, nosotros no tuvimos ningún problema con este. Ojo a la ubicación si vas sin coche, queda “lejos” de todo.

Beautiful location and very spacious villa. Beach is great and penthouse apartment is huge with 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Wifi service was surprisingly good and there were kayaks and paddle boards available as well as snorkeling gear. Only reason not 5 is that there was a few communication lapses that I think could have made it perfect. One bathroom had no shower head which was fine but we weren’t told in advance. We didn’t know what gear was supplied beforehand and had to ask. Some maintenance needs to be done to keep it as to be considered luxury. You need a car also

We stayed in the beachfront condo and were delighted with the stay. It is true that some details would need to be renewed such as the faucets or the hot tub. Even so, taking into account the average quality/price of accommodation in the area, this is a diamond in the rough. The air conditioning is also somewhat old but we had no problems, in fact we had it on almost always. The internet connection is bad, practically in the entire area and it is advisable to have a vehicle to visit Akumal town, Tulum and Playa del Carmen, which are very close. Daniel was attentive to us for any need we had and reacted quickly and effectively, providing a solution to everything. Cleaning service is included and is provided at your convenience with change of towels and bed linen. The beach is natural and some people complain that it is full of turtle nests but we have been lucky enough to see them hatch and even see them laying their eggs on the beach at night. In addition to the marine life that is found simply by snorkeling. So for our part, 100% recommended! Thank you so much!

Great Apartment facing the Sea in Akumal, the beach is very quiet and safe. Far from the noise of Tulum or Playa del Carmen in Casa Coral you will find the ideal place to rest and enjoy the beach. The service is also excellent from the concierge Daniel to all the staff that will make you have a perfect stay. The only criticism is the internet, it has wifi but the quality (I understand that it is a problem in this particular area) is very weak. Without a doubt, I recommend it and I will surely return to Casa Coral.

We had been warned several days in advance that it was 'seaweed season' and it is true that this is an issue for direct access to the sea and there is a bit of a smell. This did not detract from the amazing location. Great beach, turtles at night coming onto it. Great pool and space inside and out. A 30 second walk down the beach to get access to an area with less seaweed (though this changes daily). Paddle boards and kayaks available for personal use at all times. The apartment is well equipped, luxurious in many respects and certainly has reasonable WiFi. Close to a really good beachfront restaurant and close to the main Akumal beach area which is also superb. A fantastic three day stay.

Great apartment on the same sand as the beach. It is very large, the bed very comfortable and large. You can hear and see the sea from the same bed. The pool is more than enough to take a little dip and wash off the salt. The situation is perfect, away from the noise and bustle of Tulum but a 20-minute drive away if you need it. Daniel's attention was truly wonderful, from the first contact in Spain until our arrival in Mexico. Friendly, aware of everything, with a very pleasant and friendly conversation. A young person but very attentive to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We had a small problem outside the property, which was the arrival of sargassum on the beach. They immediately gave us the cancellation of the days that we decided to leave the apartment. I would repeat without hesitation!! Thanks Daniel!!!

We spent an amazing five days here in March. The rooftop pool was so relaxing and fun. The location on the beach was excellent. Jade Bay is much more quiet than Akumal Bay and is still within walking distance. We will definitely be coming back.
