Super sad about this experience, we choose this hotel accordong to the reviews but during our stay we totally don’t get why people recommend this hotel. The staff probably doesn’t know what hospitality means. Our room was dirty when we arrived, the pool is full of leaves all the time, the bed is very uncomfortable and the pillows - it feels like they are full of clothes, like jeans or jackets - not any of pillow material :) :) :) The first night there was a party near the hotel and the music was extremely loud, so we couldn’t sleep, next morning at the front desk they said “what music? There is no music, we didn’t hear it”. We left tips for the houskeeper for celaning, but when we got back to the hotel - the tips were taken, and the trash bin was left full, the sink was dirty and our wet towells were taken from the floor and put back on the shelf :) :) i know it, because I used it before I left, it was wet in the same place and taken from the floor (front desk told us to leave them on the floor if we want to get our towells changed) :) day after - we left our hotel at 8:30, get back - 3:30 no evidence that houskeeping was in our room. Ow, and I didn’t hear “sorry for that” once, front desk manager seems polite but doesn’t help with anything. If you want a pool towel you can only get one a day, and some of them are ripped and discoloured :) So this hotel is totally not worth the price or the reviews that it has. I stayed in Tulum for the same price in another hotel and got amazing experience. So be aware before spending your money ! :)

The price is a bit expensive. Good location. It's convenient for eating and shopping around. The room is big. Night life is abundant. It's also very convenient to get to the station. I will choose to stay here again when I go to Cancun in the future.

I usually don’t leave reviews, but after this wild experience, I had no choice. I was absolutely disgusted by the treatment I received at this hotel. I booked the hotel for a women’s retreat and interacted with 3 different people over the course of my time at the hotel. The first person checked us in and I informed him that Oke of the participants had COVID and wouldn’t be attending and the other person would be staying with me to nanny for my child. He said okay he would let the manager know and they would remove it from the bill. He took a deposit for the 5 rooms ($50 per day). He told us breakfast was served at the sister hotel, Zenses and we should eat there after yoga in the morning. He also informed us that while the website says bikes are complimentary, they don’t offer bikes and the beach is actually an hour away, not 30 minutes! What the hell? The next day, another woman asked for the remaining balance on the room. I asked if that was customary because I am used to paying that upon departure and she said yes, so I paid the balance. The day before our departure, I interacted with a 3rd woman who was very rude, impatient and said she was charged two rooms that weren’t even in my party for breakfast. I told her breakfast was included. I asked for her name. She refused to give it to me so I sent a screenshot of her to the manager and he failed to respond. She called the manger and both of them very rudely said breakfast was not included and told me they would be charging me for the room my nanny didn’t use and for breakfast, even though it was included. I requested a print out of my payment. They couldn’t provide it for a while and finally provided a document that was inaccurate I challenged them and questioned them over and over and they failed to address the issue or provide any type of resolve. I also advocated for bikes and when we took them out, the pedal fell off and we had to rely on the help of strangers to get us back because no one at the hotel was willing to come get us or support the issue. In addition, our rooms were not cleaned daily, despite the multiple requests. I had to come and get tissue, washcloths and empty the trash. Absolutely terrible service! I have been going back and forth with the “owner” for a while and he has ceased responding because there is 0 accountability. There’s also construction across the street constantly and wild dogs running around, it’s just not worth it. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!! IT’S NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE!!

The room was very small and had a rooftop view, but the view was only on the 4th floor, so it wasn't that good, and I could see the window next door, so I had to keep the blinds open every day. The pool is small, but the interior is very neat and pretty. The female staff was a little rude when I checked in. Other staff are friendly

We had a great time! Plenty of activities to do in plenty of things to see oh just a wonderful location. My only complaint is I was in Kassav four and the ice machine was never repaired the week I was there. I have to make that statement because it’s such an inconvenience to go to the other castles or qualifies so it’s all a complaint,

Ttamarle2014This hotel was absolutely amazing! From our arrival to our departure, the staff was super friendly, extra attentive and on top of everything! They thought of every detail before anything can become a potential need or issue! The grounds were spectacular and the 2-3 mile stretch of beach that the hotel sat on was stunning. Morning runs/walks followed by dips in the turquois waters, dining on site and a staff ready to meet every need made this an amazing trip. We had our 8 year old daughter and she did not want to leave! Neither did we but we will be back!

Beautiful boutique hotel with a kind team of workers! It feels like a little hidden gem tucked away off the beaten path. This hotel was my favorite part of my trip! Nicole at the front desk was very welcoming! The size of their suites is very generous and it's nice to have the space to spread out and relax. I loved having a full-sized kitchen area and they provide you with utensils, cookware, dishes, and everything you need to feel at home. The bed was on the firm side but very comfortable and it was nice to have separate air conditioning units in the bedroom and living room. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that my breakfast was included each morning because I booked directly on their website. At the time I'm writing this taxis into centro town were around $200 - $300 pesos from this area and a taxi into the hotel zone ran around $40 - $50 US. I would absolutely come back!

GGuest UserTucked away in the bustling heart of Tulum, the Muare Hotel effortlessly transports its guests into a world of serene tranquility and unparalleled luxury. The moment you cross the threshold, it's as though you've stepped into a different realm, a realm where design aesthetics blend harmoniously with the natural beauty of Tulum. Each room at the Muare Hotel is a testament to the sublime fusion of comfort and style. The addition of an outdoor shower offers a revitalizing bathing experience beneath the open sky. Whether bathing under the warmth of the morning sun or under the cool gaze of the evening stars, the outdoor shower truly is a delightful touch. Further adding to the bespoke experience is a personal plunge pool that is a part of every room. A secluded sanctuary for rejuvenation, it allows guests to enjoy a soothing dip at their convenience. Additionally, the hotel's main pool, an epitome of artistic design, serves as an inviting hub for social interaction and relaxation. The wellness journey at the Muare Hotel is underscored by its serene spa, a haven where guests can unwind and experience revitalizing treatments. It's a sanctuary where self-care takes precedence, and tranquility is guaranteed. The dining experience at Muare Hotel is a gastronomic adventure led by the hotel’s remarkable restaurant, Gaudea. Marrying Mexican and Mediterranean cuisines in an exquisite fusion, Gaudea ensures a culinary voyage that appeals to every palate. A testament to their inclusivity is the thoughtful gluten-free menu, promising that every guest can savor this journey without compromise. The Brown Butter Fish with Toasted Almonds, in particular, stands out for its delightful balance of flavors, a must-try for any guest. In summary, the Muare Hotel, Tulum, is more than a luxurious stay; it's a holistic experience. The thoughtfully designed rooms, top-notch amenities, sumptuous cuisine, and the overall ambiance of serenity make it a destination in itself. For any traveler visiting Tulum, I strongly recommend the Muare Hotel. It's not just a hotel, it's a journey into a realm of luxury and tranquility. An unmissable gem, Muare Hotel stands as a testament to a perfect blend of style, comfort, and culinary artistry.

GGuest UserA+++ Family Vacation (2 Adults, 3 Kids – 4, 5 and 7). You should not hesitate to book this super lux spot for your next vacation. We chose Conrad Tulum because it was on the CN Traveler best places to go. It did not disappoint. No way for the resort to be any more lux/beautiful or service to be better. Pictures are real and in some cases don’t do the place enough justice. Place is brand new. Further, the “kids club” was critical to our vacation. Shamara, Sehem, Ivette and Ruth all jointly run the kids club. It is a mix of indoor and outdoor activities from 945am-5pm (lunch with parents at Noon). Making pinatas, painting, reading, traditional Mexican art/crafts alongside pool (there is a specific pool about 2.5 feet-3 feet deep which is great for young children), beach, watersport, treasure hunts around the resort, etc. This is a very curated program for kids, exceptional in every aspect and also customizable based on what the kids may want to do. My kids are begging to return. Thank you to the staff at the kids club! Some other outstanding parts of the resort include morning wellness activities on the beach (Rafael is wellness coach speak to him on arrival for schedule/info) and the breakfast restaurant which has countless stations servicing traditional Mexican food cooked to order in front of you by chefs as well as a plethora of recognizable American breakfast items. It is a showstopper. Rivals the best breakfasts at the worlds finest hotels. Other restaurants on site (pan Asian, Japanese, Mexican, etc) are all superb. Guacamole, coconuts, champagne, wines all delivered poolside, beachside, etc. All the fine service you would expect. Some suggestions for the future as the hotel is brand new. Fix (or get a new) ATM that dispenses Mexican Peso so Americans can tip your exceptional staff in pesos without paying a silly exchange rate at the front desk. For the watersports company on the beach they need high end equipment to match the character of the hotel. For example, snorkel equipment must be the “dry” snorkels and they should have goggle defogger on site and used prior to each swim – price should be raised to accommodate this. Oscar is the local snorkel guide and he is REALLY GOOD. There is a massive set of coral reefs with tons of fish (some as big as sharks) outside the hotel but accessible only with the best equipment. (bring your own better yet!). Childrens food at the hotel/poolside could improve so that the kids have healthy and LOCAL choices (fruit/veg as sides, fun kid local fruit drink, less of the burger/chicken stuff that is on every menu in the USA). Guacamole ice cream cones (made from tortilla chips, delivered as fun snacks for free every day which the kids loved) were amazing and that should be on the menu! Finally, there are some comments about sea****. They have huge crews that come clean it up every morning (done by about 9/10am). Its not a nuisance. Probably by the time you wake its all gone and you never know its there. It

We were overcharged by this hotel and they refuse to refund even though I have provided all the receipts to back up this claim. Total overcharge was $173 for 6 nights. They claim that there is a special ”hotel exchange rate” although the exchange rate fluctuated only a few pennies during our stay. I will never stay at another IHG hotel in Mexico and I will surely be sure to see if this particular group owns any place I stay at in the future. With this review, I hope to deter folks in the direction of hopefully other honest businesses in the area. CHECK THE BILL AND THE EXCHANGE RATE!!

GGuest UserVery chic, new and modern hotel in the newly Aldea Zama neighborhood which is a modern mix where tropical and city meet. For starters the hotel is located in a new section of Tulum that’s “heavily” under construction. If you can see pass the construction you’ll be fine, if construction bothers you stay away. If you’re looking for beach access stay away. The beach is about 10 minutes (taxi), 35 minutes bike, or an hour walk. Speaking of bikes the hotel has them for free to use, which is a nice perk. The hotel pool and view is simply amazing! The hotels rooftop restaurants food is good (ate there twice). The rooms are spacious and new. I had a issue with my first room but they were able to move me to another room after some slight back and forth! It was my birthday and they welcomed me (in the room) with a happy birthday banner and towel cake (super cute and thoughtful). There are about two handfuls of restaurants in walking distance, a pet market, a fresh market, and pharmacies. They changed the towels everyday, they made the bed everyday but didn’t change the sheets although requested. The rooms always smell good and the staff they all are amazing, helpful and sweet! If your looking for a upscale vibe in a newer section this is the place you want to be.

GGuest UserWe had an overall wonderful experience for our 7 days spent at Hotelito Azul! We went with another couple and each stayed in the Oceanfront Suites (we were above them, they were ground level). The rooms were clean and spacious. Somewhat limited storage for clothes but we made the best of the shelving/hanging unit provided. The shower is a dream. The maid service cleaned our room daily and did a wonderful job! We loved the treats left on our pillows each day. AC was yours to control. One challenge we faced that would have a simple fix was the lack of rugs in the room. You’re walking through sand to get to your room and yes, there’s a bucket of water to rinse before entering however we were desperate for a small outdoor rug or just something at either the sides or foot of the bed to brush off sand before getting in bed. Interestingly, our friends downstairs had an awesome runner at the foot of their bed so maybe just consistency with that would make a huge difference! You wake to a cute basket with coffee each morning and they will refill your drinking water as much as you need it in the room. We can’t say enough good things about the staff. You communicate to them through What’sApp which offered quick responses to any questions or concerns or when ordering food/drink. Larissa, the concierge was WONDERFUL. She welcomed us every day and made us feel right at home and taken care of during our stay. She helped fill out trip with wonderful experiences whether it be tours, great local spots for food/drink or logistics. We rented scooters from the hotel the majority of our vacation days and it was well worth it. We did find the prices just across the street were cheaper however we liked the convenience of renting through the hotel. The food and drink at the hotel is all delicious, although we quickly learned that eating and drinking on the beach does get expensive, so we chose wisely when/how much we ate at the hotel. This just comes with the location. The physical location of the hotel is ideal because it isn’t too far down into the beach strip, which traffic became pretty bad the further you drove in. The aesthetic and details of the hotel are perfect for making you feel like you’re living in a whimsical jungle. FYI to all looking to stay on the beach in Tulum, during April-November or so, Tulum gets a massive amount of seaweed that makes it nearly impossible to swim in the ocean. The hotels, including Hotelito Azul, do their best to remove as much seaweed from the beach as possible, but man, is it an uphill battle. This limited our ability to sit out on the beach unfortunately, because the only relief from the heat was the outdoor shower. Which, again, is lovely, but not the ocean. Luckily, Tulum has so many other wonderful things to do that we did not feel this impacted our trip in any significant way. Those that travel during the better months have a lovely beachfront area to look forward to at Hotelito Azul. All in all, we loved our stay at this hotel and look forward to returning in the future! Thank you all!

I think Selina in Tulum is a very great hostel. It is not a social hostel (i can only state about low season, september) and it feels more like a beach club/resort then a hostel. The MIA beach club was inactive as I was there, but therefore was free to access. The beach is amazing, directly in front of the hotel! The room was good, nothing special. The price is the only critic I would have. It feels like the hostel uses the „high-price“-attitude of its area. It could be half the price and it would be perfect. This is true for the rooms and also breakfast, 12€ for a mexican breakfast is just to much.

GGuest UserI stayed in Hotel Blanco Tulum for my bithday and I had an amazing time!! Hotel was clean, the room had AC and was right the way I wanted it. The staff was really nice and accomodating. They made a very nice surprise for me on my day and they added a very personal touch. The bartender, Lucas, made very good drinks ant the pool was very relaxing. As a solo woman traveler I felt safe and it's a very important aspect of my trip. I struggled a little with communicating with the staff since I am not fluent in spanish.
