Residenza Veneziana

One of the best hotel we stayed in, friendly staff, wonderful view and service, privacy one amazing rooms available in the hotel, its a walkable distance from eveeywhere in Venezia, definitely we will visit again soon, recommended to all solo and couples.

We stayed at Hotel Residenza Veneziana on May 16th, 2024 and had such amazing experiences. The hotel is located at a very convenient location right on a quiet small canal, within walking distance to everything. The hotel room is decorated with very unique classic Venetian style furniture and fixtures, something not easy to find nowadays, but the bathroom is very updated, modern, nice and clean. We received a nice warm welcome with champagne and a huge delicious breakfast served to the room at the time we selected the next morning. The owner Matteo Todisco is so nice and helpful. He answers all our questions promptly and provided very detailed direction as to how to get there. The hotel staff were also very friendly and helpful. We would definitely go back on our next trip to Venice. Thank you Matteo and Loui.

This was the absolute best hotel we stayed at in Italy! Alvise (call me Louis) met us at the door and carried our luggage up the approximate 20 steps to the rooms. The check in was incredibly fast and easy and we were welcomed with a chilled bottle of Persecco. Alvise is a super host! He provided us with a list of restaurants to eat at, all of them were fantastic! He also told us which gondolas to choose in order to have the true Venetian experience and what we could expect to pay. He was always ready to go out of his way to assist us in any way that he could. The rooms were gorgeous! We stayed three nights in two different rooms, the Gold Room had a beautiful view of the canal, and we opened the windows to listen to the music from the gondolas as they floated by. The breakfast was decadent and more food than we could eat. This is a host who knows what he’s doing. Our experience was overwhelming positive from the minute we arrived to the moment we left. You are in safe hands if you choose to book here. If we ever return to Venice, this will be where we stay.

Perfect location , full of life in the day and quiet evenings. Only five minutes from the vaporetto stop and Piazza San Marco. All the staff were lovely. Alvise on reception was great, fluent in different languages, knowledgable, gave us lots of information and tips for our stay. He welcomed us with a bottle of Prosecco in our room to enjoy. What a fab start to our Holliday…Thank you. We stayed in the spacious blue room which was beautifully decorated in a traditional Venetian style and had a wonderful view (see pics) ,air con, a kettle and mugs, mini bar, the Wi-Fi was good, great rain and hand held shower….everything you need for a perfect stay! The breakfast was fresh and plentiful and bought to your room with a smile and we sat with our full glass doors open enjoying the view of a constant stream of condoles along the canal . You will not be disappointed…book it. A wonderful stay in a magical city! x

At the tender young age of 80 it was impossible to walk and carry luggage all the way to the hotel. We couldn't do it. Direction to the hotel didn't arrive until the day of checkin so we had no idea how impossible it was.
