Well I'm not going to say the pillows are the fluffiest I've ever had because I always bring my own pillow, 🤣 But we enjoyed staying at the Bedford Regency Hotel in downtown Victoria British Columbia, the hotel room was very clean and very well kept. And it's right in the heart of downtown Victoria and very close to restaurants bars and shopping. It has a few idiosyncrasies like the lobby is on the second floor and the road in front of the hotel is closed during check-in hours but checking in to the hotel was not a problem. The bed was comfortable and it was not too noisy considering it is close to a few pubs. The TV was a bit high in our room for my viewing as I have neck problems but I was told next time to ask for one that is positioned lower. I liked the vintage look in the rooms. I have never come across a room that had a shower with two shower heads before.

We were traveling with our three granddaughters for a graduation High Tea adventure. We picked Victoria BC and the Delta Marriott and we’re very pleased. Our Black Ball ferry delivered us to Victoria before check in and the desk clerk had rooms for us. The water taxi from the ferry port/Empress stop took us right to the Delta stop with all our luggage. The Rooms were comfortable, the Club Room worked out well for our large party and the server in the bar on the evening of June 29 has the best customer service. Taxis were ordered, directions happened, what a great visit to Victoria BC

This hotel is the most detailed hotel I have stayed in Canada! The location is on the pedestrian street, the decoration is exquisite, the bath is full of L’Occitane, and there are two pairs of slippers! Loved, coffee is also a very good brand. Next time I go to Victoria, I will never look at any other hotels. The five-star praise is definitely worthy of it.

I had called 9 hotels prior to this booking searching for a suite option that allowed my mom and adult brother some privacy and no one being stuck on a pull out sofa. Chateau Victoria had a great layout option at half price of any alternatives I could find. In addition to that, the customer service agent I spoke with, Heidi, was a breath of fresh air to converse with. Unlike previous hotels I had called, Heidi asked logical, relevant questions, and listened and responded in a helpful manner to all inquiries that I had. She was knowledgeable, polite, and made booking a breeze. I will definitely book at this property again.

We chose this hotel at the last minute, We needed something close to the Jubilee Hospital, and needed a good price. I love the location of the Huntingdon Manor. We ended up with a Euro Loft suite, which is a room with a kitchen, sofa bed, and then 3 beds upstairs. The room had everything we needed, and would work great for a girls weekend as it sleeps 5. We had a lovely harbour view. Our rate also included breakfast, and parking which is a huge bonus! The room is a bit dated, could us some new carpet for sure. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay.
Located on Victoria*s spectacular Inner Harbour/ steps from US Ferry terminals/ Parliament Buildings and local shops and attractions. 304 rooms and suites/ all with balconies.

We stayed 3 nights at Grand Pacific Hotel. Our room (5th floor) was amazing as we had a little deck from which we could watch the ferries come & go as well as harbor traffic. Through the trees we could also see cruise ships too! Due to staff shortage there was no daily housekeeping but they would bring up towels and coffee etc as required. We only ate 2 breakfasts at the hotel but both were very good! Especially the Avocado Toast !! The hotel location was perfect as it’s walking distance to many attractions and close to the harbor taxis too. Beautiful at night with the parliament lit up and the various fountains, horse drawn carriages and harbor lights. Definitely will be back.

The location of the hotel is superior, and you can walk to the scenic spots when you go out. There is a kitchen in the room, where breakfast and coffee can be easily made. There are two very comfortable beds without disturbing each other 👍.

It is at the edge of the tourist area but still within walking distance to town centre. Price is good. It consists of 3 apartment buildings of 3 stories each, the top level can only be accessed by stairs. My unit is a small apartment, with full kitchen along the hallway. The dinning/sitting room has a desk and 3 chairs, sofa and TV. The bedroom has a king size bed. There is no USB outlet. The whole unit is newly renovated except the shower. The ventilation in the bathroom is not good. The windows has not been upgraded so cannot close tightly and hear some traffic noise. Room view is parking lot and senior home. Your car can stop at the front for registration, parking is $10/day at the back. Number of parking spots is limited.

We stayed at the Embassy Inn last weekend. We had been visiting family in the Duncan area and wanted to have a chance to check out Victoria for a day before flying home. Check in was smooth, the room was a good size, clean and had comfortable beds. A very easy walk to Government Street, Chinatown, etc. We ate in the downtown area and enjoyed taking photos of the Legislature, the VICTORIA sign and waterfront lit up at night. Breakfast was included and had quite a variety. A very walkable area and a hotel that we will return to for future visits.

Booked for my wife and I to spend some time away exploring the Victoria and area. I initially booked the ”Petite Suite” which was just a bit too cozy for us (my fault - didn't read the details). Despite the busy time, the desk staff were incredibly gracious and worked to accommodate a swap to a larger room. Unfailingly helpful and polite - they made our stay. The actual Hotel is ridiculously charming and cozy, and ideally located within walking distance of various parks, pubs, restaurants, etc. When we come back to Victoria, we'll be at the James Bay Inn!

GGuest UserMy husband and I have been visiting the Oak Bay Resort for many years, even when it was the older hotel! It is our haven and happy place. We come yearly, and perhaps twice a year when we can. The staff are very welcoming, and highly professional. The hotel itself is gorgeous, and placed in one of the most magnificent Ocean settings. Delicious food is served in the Snug Pub, as well as Faro’s ,who have recently added some wonderful new items to their pizza menu. And the mineral bath and spa overlooking the ocean is a great asset and one of our favourite spots. The hotel rooms are very spacious with big soaker tubs, and dreamy pillows and bedding. There are wonderful walks from the hotel . Within about 30 minutes you can be strolling along Willows Beach, or shopping in the delightful Oak Bay or Estevan Villages. What a great treat to go here!
PpennDefinitely my favorite place to stay in Victoria! All tje special touches they do is really appreciated! Fresh baked cookies and a hand written note on the bed! Breakfast is 5 Star!!
WWEIHONGInvincible sea view, sea view, living room, room and balcony, especially sitting on the balcony to watch the sunset is very freehand. The transportation is very convenient, it is convenient in the city center, and the two-bedroom suite is fully equipped! Opposite the hotel is a lot of choices for restaurants, parking is free, but you need to check the card after you check in to enter the garage. Overall very good physical examination.
GGuest UserThe rooms are enormous - I’ve lived in flats smaller than this! Everything is super-clean and all amenities are here. Our room had a little balcony on which to enjoy a morning coffee or evening sundowner. All amenities in the kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer. Large bedroom and bathroom. Great location for a ramble along to Fisherman’s Wharf or a stroll into town. As others have said, check when the restaurant is open - unfortunately, it was closed on the days we were there, but there is a supermarket close by and plenty of eateries in town.
AAnonymous UserI had another great stay here. The valet was super friendly and helpful, and check in was a breeze. Front desk agent was very sweet. My room was clean and comfortable and I had a really nice view. This is my new go to hotel in Victoria. I also love that there’s a Starbucks in the lobby.
GGuest UserWe stayed here for three nights and had a varied experience. Check-in was swift and we were soon on our way to our room, we emptied our suitcases and went to pour a drink, this was when we discovered a half eaten burger in the refrigerator and a glass that looked like it had been dropped in a muddy puddle! In fairness to the hotel the staff were equally horrified and very apologetic. We were offered a room change and next day received a card and a bottle of champagne from the hotel as a further apology. We used the gym in the hotel, which is slightly odd in that it has a carpeted floor and no mats available for doing sit-ups etc. One of the lifts was out of action for a refurb (although there was no evidence of any work going on during our stay) one of the other lifts was frequently out of order, leaving just one in action and lengthy delays waiting to go up or down. We didn’t use the hotel car park, you can use one of the nearby underground parking lots or there are spaces on the road adjacent to to the hotel for half the cost of the hotel parking. It’s a great hotel in a good location, just the poor attention to detail and noisy guests let it down.
GGuest UserThe reason I didn't give one star is the location, which is walking distance. Otherwise, the hotel is pretty run-down. The ”kitchenette” is gross. There is not even a drawer to put their utensils, and they are just on the bottom of a cabinet. The windows have poor sound proof, and I can hear the cars and people talking on the street on night even with all the windows closed. The ”pool” looks pathetic. The day I stayed was not during a heatwave, and it was 18-19 C in the evening, and the room feels not cool enough. I can't imagine staying in this hotel during a heat wave. As a result, they put a tower fan in the room. If you have a taller car, you won't be able to park in their parkade, as the clearance is only 6 ft. (Beware!). One will have to either park in the Library parkade, or on the street. The fridge temperature doesn't seem to be cool enough.
