We were only at the hotel for less than 12 hours. Location is great for seeing old town Vienna. Importantly, the hotel provided a taxi booking for a 4 AM departure to the airport. The staff were very helpful. This is a classic old-style hotel with character. We enjoyed the short time we had there.

The hotel is in an excellent location, in the very center, all attractions are within walking distance. I was upset that on the day of arrival I was given a very small room with a view of the wall. The next day the room was changed to a larger and bright one overlooking the church. But the residue remained. Breakfast is ordinary, no frills, but there is a choice. I have attached a photo of the view from the window of the already changed good room.

For the first time, I felt the difference between old and nostalgic. The building was 100 years ago, but the electrical equipment was 50 years ago. The room was very small. The TV was 21 inches, smaller than my computer, but I don’t know why it was placed there. There is a shabby red double sofa with a not too small round table. The bed is two single beds put together, so there will be a gap in the middle. There is a small round coffee table at the corner of the corridor after exiting the elevator. There were two courtyard chairs with empty bottles of leftover drinks on the table. I found out the next day that it was the cleaning staff's lounge. Everyone was sitting on the chairs and two people were sitting on the floor drinking drinks and chatting.
