Hotels Near Bát Nhã Đường in Vung Tau

Whenever I go to Vung Tau I always stay at the Moon Thanh Vung Tau hotel, and I have been there a few times. The position is excellent being so close to the beach. The staff are helpful and friendly and always willing to chat and have a laugh with me. Over time I have made a very good friend in Truc (aka Bonnie) who is now the General Manager there. We always share a coffee and photos when I visit. If you have a room overlooking the beach you can watch what's happening in the park opposite or watch the fishing fleet coming and going. I recommend getting up early, around 5.30 - 6.00 am and walking along the beach watching the women doing their exercises or the fishermen bringing in their catch and the women selling straight from the boat to your plate. All in all I highly recommend the Muong Tan hotel for your next stay in Vung Tau.

I moved into one of the apartments here. It's amazing great pool restaurant coffee shop. Lovely View and the apartments and rooms are light and airy with twin balcony. Really quiet area with local restaurant outside. Town is less than 5 mins away. I would highly recommend this condotel

Me and my friend had a really good experience here with the service and the view of the hotel. The room was clean and organized. Wow! What an amazing experience. The Malibu Hotel is the best hotel that I've stayed in in Vietnam. We had a business trip there in early March 2023. Everything was exemplary and all 65 staff members agreed. I will briefly share what makes this hotel so amazing: 1) Customer Service: A huge shout out to Ms. Bella from The Malibu. She made organisation of our trip smooth and was extremely detail-orientated. Additionally, Mr. Dat ensured that our Gala dinner was a memorable experience. Both Ms. Bella and Mr. Dat were extremely transparent about budget and pricing, double-checking every expense with our team before it was processed. The best customer service that I've received in Vietnam in 7 years. 2) The food: The food is incredible and very fairly priced. I stayed in the hotel in early 2022 and they have maintained the high standard since then. Well done to the kitchen staff at The Malibu. The best I've had in Vietnam. 3) Public spaced: The Malibu has a wonderful pool & lounge area. Servers were punctual and pleasant. 4) Comfy beds: The rooms & beds fit those of a 4/5 star hotel. No issues here whatsoever. It might be nice if they had a balcony. 5) Location: Wonderful location near the major roundabout in Vung Tau. A short walk to the beach. Fantastic!

A stunning hotel in a good location. One thing to be aware of is the famous night market is no longer trading. Overall a pleasant stay with excellent service. Plenty of choices for breakfast and nothing is not too for staff. Highly recommended.

We stayed for two nights. There was a microwave and all the cooking utensils, which was very useful for drinking in the room. All we had to do was put our clothes in the fully automatic washing machine and hang them out to dry on the spacious balcony. Unfortunately, even the most advanced equipment couldn't withstand the 2-3 hour power outage in the morning, so we wasted the time just waiting. When I tried to go for a walk early in the morning from my room on the 24th floor, the elevator didn't respond, so there may have been a reason other than the power outage. There was no way to check by going down the stairs. But I'd like to stay here again.

For some god sake, men and women are treated unequally? I don’t have the right to not take off my shirt in public area (swimming pool)! If you have that rule, please inform in booking email in advance! I even wore the swimsuit not normal shirt! I’m staying at B14.03 on 29/4/2023 When I talk to staff at the front desk (18:15, 29/4/2023), her attitude toward me is unacceptable!!! Is that because I’m younger than her or else? Her answer was not what I expected from a 4 star hotel! We need answer and solution, not ask for sympathy! Believe me! You never encounter any rudeness like this from any other international hotel brands (IHG, Melia, Accord,..) Many thanks! I worked as a travel agency in Vietnam with reasonable price! A host who displays 4 stars but who does not deserve them. Barely half a star, this hotel is so pitiful. The breakfast buffet is transformed into 3 miserable dishes: noodle soup, meat soup or egg...no other choice!!! The manager who has no skills answers us ”it says breakfast on the reservation not BUFFET!! Poor little employee, no training, no skills, for a 4 star establishment it's a beautiful image that she leaves. Agoda deleted our review, wrote to us to threaten us because it would kill their business. So it is the reservation sites that decide, not the customers? Demagoguery. Disappointed we decided to file a complaint and ask the police to intervene . This hotel has no place and will have to be verified and lose its stars. I asked several times to meet the owner, who was there that day, but it is so much better not to lose face in Asia that I I didn't get to see it. I don't recommend this Vung Tau RiVa hotel.

- The time i got to my room was nearly 3pm. I came there slightly early (11am) since it was a 2d1n trip. Came to a big, well known resort with different facilities, I expected more from their service. First, the receptionists are not welcoming. They checked in for us and kept our passports till check out day, which I found a bit odd, especially as its pay in advance. Then they just told me to wait till the room is ready, without a welcome drink or a suggestion as to what I can do while waiting. I had lunch at the ONE AND ONLY restaurant in the resort - Mermaid Restaurant, even though on their website there are around 6 listed places to go. There were 10 staff standing at that restaurant but no one seemed to be helpful. The restaurant was completely empty, we chose the table near the sea, but one staff came and asked if we can move to a smaller table. Both the restart and cafe charged 5% service fee, but the staff are slow and not attentive (waited 20m for drinks) and took ages for us to pay by card. There wasn’t any benches on their private beach or umbrellas. The pool is just 1,4m deepest. - The location is good and bad. It is right next to the beach but you can’t get any taxi yourself. If you wanna go out, have to ask the receptionist to book for you, and the price is not by miles but by your destination point. - Room on the other hand was spacious and clean. One very good thing here is the pool guys clean the pool area all the time so it is very clean, and there was also a beach guard watching for your safety.
