This is my third time in Wanning. I stayed at Le Meridien before, but I chose Westin this time. I didn't expect it to be so good. The hotel is beautifully situated with its own beach. The landscaping and grounds are picturesque as are the ocean views. I have previously stayed in big hotels in Sanya that involve long walks to the facilities and the beach. However, this hotel is really nicely sized. The lagoon pools and infinity pools were great, though I did wonder a bit about the cleanliness levels. I was initially concerned about reviews saying the place looked aged, but in person the rooms seemed fine, spacious and clean. The service was excellent on every level. They did not have a business center but they helped me out with some business needs. The breakfast was diverse and they made sure to keep the buffet filled up despite a large number of diners. All in all, it was a very refreshing and enjoyable stay. Note that taking a train from Sanya Airport to Wanning is not difficult and economical if the timing works well for your flights.

Clarifying I am not a Robert. Beyond Expectations, great spirit and services. But In fact I m not really expecting anything while I decided to stay this hotel at the first beginning. However, FD Manager - Cristina and her team changed my mind. Good feeling and experience in staying 2 nights which upgraded to lake view with high floor. As first-time visitors to Wanning, we weren’t really sure which area would be the best for staying. However, we were pleasantly surprised by this location along the Shenzhou Peninsula. The surrounding area is quite nice, with a rocky shoreline not far away and a great beach area behind the hotel. Check-In went smoothly and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Shoutout to Paul Tang 唐亚超 for the excellent service. The room was comfortable and spacious, with a great balcony view of the garden and ocean. The buffet breakfast was great as well, with a variety of different cuisine options available. We especially enjoyed that they offered fresh fruit juice instead of the beverage type. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again the next time we are in Wanning!

A small part of the indoor swimming pool is a shallow pool with a relatively warm water temperature, and there are saunas and wet steam rooms in the locker room, which is a perfect experience. It was the best experience of this trip to Hainan!
